alexander zI rented a truck at a different Miami location and was called at 7:00pm the night before pick up and told I had to go to the Hialeah location that opened an hour later and was farther from the location I was sold. The truck only had a quarter tank of gas, and no lock to secure the load.
daniel jThe place U-Haul that I went very inconvenient places. I went to inside gas station which they use U-haul office and at that time there was one customer in front of me. I was waiting until she finished but she said to me get outside to wait Until she finished. I was waiting more than 15 minutes outside to get inside. They are not looks professional to do the job and the truck that I rented was too old and fuel gauge was broken. I am not really satisfied.

Eldisney FThe lock in the back of the truck would not open. Had to return the truck and receive a new one. Second truck did not have a working horn and the door in the back of the truck would only close with considerable pressure. The location for the trucks is terrible. All of the U-Haul trucks are parked within a foot of each other and they expect you to park it in the exact spot once done. The fact that I had to switch between trucks delayed my move-in process and I had to pay a fine at my new location for extending the move-in time from the previous agreed upon schedule.

juan vNever again! Staff is rude and un trained. Too busy eating snacks to help out and answer questions correctly, she says to park it “somewhere in the back” and then charges a fee for parking in the worng place. No receipt and time of drop off warning if any hidden charges will be applied. Claims of mess in vehicle. Claims of “bottles” to charge a cleaning fee.

Margarita SRealice la renta de un trailer 6x12 y el día de la entrega me indicaron que parque ara el trailer en cualquier lugar fuera de el establecimiento y nadie fue a comprobar o asistirme o a (ni si quiera chequear) como había entregado el trailer o donde lo había parqueado. Una ves llegado a mi casa casi 30 min después una persona me llamo por teléfono diciendo que el trailer estaba mal parqueado y que tenía yo que regresar a cambiarlo de posición o Dino me cobraría por extra por eso. Y lo más incómodo no fue ni si quiera eso sino en la forma y con la actitud que este señor habló.

Juan VThe owner of the gas station which the U-Haul business is located inside was extremely rude. First I wasn't allowed to wait inside while they did my reservation he said it was his "policy" that while the girl who is working on the paperwork for my rental I have to wait in my car which was very odd. I was surprised by that and replied I mean it is a gas station why can't I just wait here there isn't anyone else in line he told me I have a choice whether to wait outside or go somewhere else that he does not care and that I have always have a choice to go rent somewhere else. It was awfully rude I am not the one to EVER leave a negative review on a business due to being a business owner myself and knowing the impact a review can have on a business but to be honest he deserves it because a client should not be treated that way and I was upset with myself for not leaving and really going somewhere else but I was already so late to my appointment that I had to take his rude behavior and swallow it HORRIBLE but never again will he get my business and I don't recommend anyone here.
Mario SThis was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. I had a reservation made at a facility close to my house. I was called the night before and told that the truck I reserved was not available at the location - even though my reservation was made weeks ahead of time. I drove an extra 30 min to get the truck. When I arrived at the location, the truck I rented had a trailer on it. I tried to talk to the uhaul rep and she didn't speak english. Like not a word of english. I called the 800 number and after being on hold for 20 min, was told that I should remove the trailer and then get the keys. I proceeded to do that, and went back inside to get the keys. This truck didn't run. Then they had to give us a different truck. I didn't get the extra moving equipment that I paid for (moving dolly).This all took an hour then another 45 minutes for me to get home. I had movers scheduled that arrived long before I was back with the truck, so I paid moving people to sit around and wait for me all because of how unorganized your service was. I still haven't received the refund for my dolly and I've spent hours on the phone with different uhaul reps and still unable to resolve anything. I hope to never have to use your services ever again.
