It was dirty and discussing.
LAFANE BNobody was at the location when we arrived to our reservation even though they opened at 10:00am we had to call uhaul to get the truck. Once we got the truck we realized that the moving blankets I had ordered were not in the truck and there was nobody to talk to to get them. Because of this, multiple pieces of my furniture was damaged ever though we tried our best to protect them. The uhaul man on the phone was very helpful.
Kate PThe gentleman that helped me was very polite very helpful. The only problems I had were the trailer. It was very dirty. When we picked it up. It had to be swept out before we put it our belongings in it. In addition I also checked the tires. They’re bald as hell, I need to be replaced, but that has no reflection on the gentleman who I rented it from it came from New Jersey, so U-Haul needs to take better precautions when renting vehicles like this out I was a little upset about the situation. I felt forced to buy the insurance because if the tires did blow out, I would want coverage on my belongings.

GEORGE H | Overall ExperienceThe parking space for the 20’ truck was extremely limited, making it quite difficult to drive the truck out and onto the highway. That, and the fact that the owner didn’t show up until we were finished checking out the truck ONLINE was an experience I found myself lost. Thankfully the personnel we spoke with were very helpful. But standing outside in 40 degree weather was quite uncomfortable.

Eric RCustomer Service was great online - The site was not opened ontime - rental was for 10:00 but noone opened until 10:45 (manager had to call the shop owner). The shop manager was nice and all but was late and tried to blame it on the people online saying they told him 11:00 (it was in the computer at 10:00)
Amy SContact for this location was 45 minutes late to opening his store. I tried calling the day before the reservation was for, left multiple messages, but never heard back. The truck was clean on the inside, but the body has lots of damage. I did a walk around to see what pre-existing damage needed "x" stickers. He was insistent that U-Haul doesn't care about that kind of stuff. All-in-all, he was a nice guy, but I wouldn't recommend booking through this location.

Michael DWe had a lot of frustration. Trying to get the truck with the online set up took us over an hour with problems. One thing that would have helped is if it would have mentioned to make sure your precise location was one because it isn’t automatically set up that way on iphone. It was also difficult to park being in a muddy spot with a dip. We also had technical difficulties when trying to return, the photo wouldn’t save and it would glitch. I wish the process of picking up and returning was simpler.
Madison COutside of truck cab filthy. Windows covered in mud n dirt. Assumed because it’s parked next to major highway. But after driving 20 min had to stop and clean glass. Sun glare could not see

john dThe drop off was like a Junk Yard. I had one place to back the trailer. wrecked cars everywhere. Called to drop off, She said I am leaving at four. What are your hours tomorrow, 9:00 to 5:00. She was not there when I came. Someone said back it in there. Next time give me a better place to return.

Mitchell SI had to drive an extra 15 minutes to return here per U-HAUL Request. They have offered me nothing for doing their services of transporting their vehicles to another location.

therese kI wouldn't recommend uhaul anymore. The advertised cost is never what is advertised. It's always more. Also it took almost 3 weeks before the payment came out of my account and that came out in two separate payments! Have you ever moved? Are you aware of the expense? Planning is everything. Extra expenses are not! When I rented I was told that I could return the truck at any Uhaul place of busines. When I took it to some place closer to where I'd moved, that I might limit my mileage? The app told me that it would be additional expenses if I didn't return it to the place of rental...so? More milage that I was charged for. Open! Upfront! Honest advertising! Is what is expected! Not unexpected from initial expectations based on advertising on the side of your freaking trucks!
Bruce WBe open. Or at least have a voice message which states that the location is closed. I Called, but no voice mail. When I dropped the vehicle, swept and blankets folded, and gas at the appropriate level, there was no one in the office and a sign on the door stating they were closed for the week. Perhaps they should have let UHaul know so that UHaul could have recommended a different location.
Karen GMake sure moving blankets are counted correctly. We paid for 24 and ended up with only 10.

tod mI was overcharged for my rental. The mileage rate was higher than advertised and I was charged for an extra day when I returned my vehicle within 24 hours.
Jennifer SThe location where we picked up the truck qas great. The owner spent a great deal of time trying to straighten out the disaster from the online reservation. They were not aware we were coming, they never had the size truck we reserved( at that location ) and the agreed upon total was different. The owner at the location patiently figured it out to our satisfaction. Lesson learned-always call direct to the location where your renting from, unless you have an extra hour to waste.
Roberta Hi thin you guys need to tell people that you have to refill the gas tank which i wasn't aware of and i had to pay a extra $22 for that when i didn't go over my miles i also wasn't refunded the extra cents per mile

Stephen CMy Pastor when to pick up the key at 3:30 on friday afternoon and was told he couldn't have it that they would leave it in the lockbox to be pickup Saturday morning when he went to get the key in the morning we were told that my reservation was cancelled I called about it and was transferred several time. My pastor finally got ahold of the district manager and he said that he was out of town and would try to get someone else to meet use there. No one showed up the district manager finally got there and he couldn't even get into the lockbox he ended up making a new key for the truck for use. We finally get the truck at 10:30 mean while we lost 2 guys we had to help us load the truck. The District Manager said they would give me a 50% discount which I never received I feel that they should have discount the full charge with all the trouble we went through VERY upset with the whole thing.

ROBBIN MTotal cluster. Truck wasn’t there. Gave me a bigger truck. Gas gauge was under ½ but paperwork said ½. Truck kept jumping from drive to “3rd” gear. What a mess. White knuckled the whole gold hoping it would not break down. I rent uhaul all the time by far the worst place

James HGentleman was nice, just new to uhual rental. Not familiar with self pick up so I had to pick truck up an hour later than anticipated (maybe this location just doesn't do self pick up though). It wasn't my first choice in pick up location, but actually worked out ok.
Kristen VCheck-in app had no reservations listed. I had to visit office and check in manually. Not a problem with this location; problem with SelfCheck app.
