The person working had typed in the wrong vehicle hauling the wrong Vehicles pulling And hauling And that confused the whole situation And finally 2 hrs later after us calling uhaul And getting his mistake straightend out we finally got to take the traile. Poor service to say the least .

On 6/3/18 at approximately 10:30am we stopped at this facility to drop off a trailer we rented. The female attendant said she did not know what to do and that we should bring it back the next day when the owner/manager would be in. We knew it had to be back on the 3rd, so we brought it back later that day. Her brother was there and helped my 81 year old husband unhook the trailer and move it to where it needed to be parked. She told my husband to come back the next day to do the paperwork. When he did the owner said he was charging our card for an extra day because it was after 2pm. We are very dissatisfied with this and we be refuting the charge on my card. We were there in the morning but were told to come back the next day. We are not responsible for his uninformed help. If they are going to do Uhal work, all of there employees should know how to do rental returns. I tried to speak to someone from your organization on the 800 number but the recording said to fill out the review first.

The vendor had no gas in the vehicle, it was clutter all over, and had no idea what Trucks were out there at all. I had to call U-Haul's customer care number, stay on hold for 30 minutes, then walk around and search for the truck....also the 1 person who could give me the truck was not onsite and I had to wait for him to be located by phone.

Returned the truck and informed the owner of the store that the low air pressure light was on due to a tire that was going down and that I had put air in the tire several times getting there only to be told it didn't matter. I only live about 1 mile away from this location and I have noticed the truck sitting where I parked it with now a flat tire. I was also told that I was $2.00 short on fuel "however he came up with that" so I put $2.00 worth of fuel in the tank. Also he made me unhook the trailer and drop it in what I considered an unsafe place to put it abut 4feet from a heavily traveled US highway and then park the truck. Owner also did not do an inspection of the unit when it was returned only to get the mileage from it. I used to rent Uhaul in the past and I know this was not policy as we valued the customer as priority. If this is known practice now from uhaul I will not be renting nor will I recommend them from now on.I will be going to rider or hertz after this experience. Thanks,

No one from u haul was there to hook up my trailer. The process was done over the phone and I didn't have the same hook up connection for the lights that was provided on the trailer. I didn't know if u haul could provide an adaptor .

Get a visual on the rental that is supposed to be on the lot to make sure it is on the lot...!!!!!!!???????? It was an unusual situation that could not possibly happen again... I hope. "GET A VISUAL". Peace

The owner of the establishment came across as having better things to do than rent me a truck I was even asked to come back later after I insisted on being helped they rented me the truck remotely and emailed me the contract the whole thing seemed to be a major inconvenience for the owner

Well, for starters, it didn't have the half of tank of fuel that I had to replace upon returning it. But MOST of all, I got scammed into thinking it was the $19.95 price plus fuel because the representative on the phone had told me it was 19.99 or 95 plus fuel. There was NO mention of tacking on for the mileage which is complete bs, and I feel like that's misleading, and a rip off so next time, I'll be using another company to do any hauling with. One that's professional enough to at least let you know ahead of time it's going to cost over 4 X's what you're expecting. Complete bs.

I had called the day before to make sure they knew I would need help hooking the trailer up to my vehicle and was told they would. I have found that these neighborhood dealers do not always offer help and the trailer tongues can be very heavy to lift. Upon arriving, not only was I told no one would help me, but to get the trailer, the man behind the counter called another man somewhere else yelled and demanded that I had to give him all my information and mcard number or he would not rent to me even though I told him I had put all that info into the system when I rented the trailer... finally a regional supervisor called me at the store and after I asked some of their customers to help me, I was able to get out of there... Beware, that many of these neighborhood dealers will not help you hook up the trailer, even if you call ahead and confirm...

For starters, do not confirm that you have equipment which you don't have. My reservation was for a 15 foot truck. My confirmation was for a 15 foot truck. This location does not have a 15 foot truck and said they never have when I arrived to get the truck. This required me to take extra trips. The staff was friendly enough, but had no awareness of the situation.

Transaction was done over the phone, and I did not receive all of the paperwork I have received in the past. Other than that it was fine. I was also told there was no availability where my reservation was originally and that this location was 12 miles away. It ended up being 27 miles away.

I had to do all the paper work over the phone with the owner no one on site to do contract Also had a very hard time hearing him to do contract. Also truck had cigarette ashes in floor and smelt like cigarettes very bad.

Everything was OK, a bit out of the way which added mileage to my destination, putting me over the allowed mileage. This place was at least 20 miles further than Hickory, NC, overall very well maintained truck and no problems.

I dont agreee with getting charged 25.00 cleaning fee when the inside was clean, The outside had snowsalt on it. Would you expect me to clean one of them 20ft trucks if i had to take it through snow climb on top and wipe down sides? Im calling the store and requesting that 25.00 be returned!!

Called u-haul and was told that I should receive a call from a local rental facility within an hour. Three hours later I called u haul back and was told that I needed to drive to a location over 25 miles away to pick up the car hauler. Never did receive the call as initially instructed. Upon arriving at the store to pick up the dolly, there was no one there to help so the clerk had to phone he store owner. I basically rented the dolly over the telephone. The gentleman on the phone was very hard to understand. While I was satisfied with the equipment, the overall service was terrible. The drop off at another location was a pleasant experience

The owner of the store was rude to me and took customers off the street in front of me only because they were paying him for food in his store...he said I was not a paying customer...insulted me in front of the public...I had to put my dolly on truck on my own...said I did not fill the gas up properly and over all ugly to me..I will not recommend to anyone to use his place for a uhaul rental. I'm sorry I own a business and would never treat my customers the way I got treated today.

This person was extremely rude and far from helpful. Although we had a reservation he wanted us to take the truck and trailer to another location because his lot was full. Then he tried to tell us we had to unhitch the trailer and move it to a different spot from the truck. When we told him we received it hooked up and ready to go and shouldn't be required to disengage it, he actually tried to argue with us about it. Finally he gave us our receipt after the inspection, but I will never use that location again or recommend them to anyone.

I wouldn't recommend this location. There should be a late fee instead of a full charge when returning equipment back in late. I was supposed to have the trailer back at 12:00 pm, but I actually arrived at 3:00 pm.

The process for checking out the truck took more than 45 minutes. The clerk over charged me for The dolly and told me I had to pay for it in cash.

Very disappointed in my overall experience. My original plan was changed to a location 40 minutes away and could not get for 5 hours. I lost 5 hours worth of loading and travel time which then cost me to get a hotel for the night on the way to Michigan.
