The catalytic converter was cut off prior to my rental. Truck was embarrassing and ridiculously loud. And once again, I was overcharged and will have to make calls to get that taken care of, last year when I used a uhaul, it took a couple months to receive my â€œover chargeâ€ back.KAYDIJA A.

Where to start. First we had called uhal on the 7th of June and was to pick up a uhal from terra haute on the 18th. We get to the location and they have no uhal only the car hauler. The man there calls uhal and they said we could take the car hauler and go to IL the next state over to get a 26foot uhal. Mind you we asked for a 15foot on the 7th of June and they said they had them in. So when I talk to the lady at uhal she said take the car hauler and go get the 26foot truck and we will give you 50 extra miles. I drive a car how am I to take the hauler? And 50 miles I live 45miles from this location in terra haute and now its alone here 28miles to the next uhal. How does this make any sense? Its uhals fault not the Paris IL location fault. BUT we get to the IL location get everything and dang if the location didn't call me a few hours later and tell me they forgot to charge me for the car hauler. Can any get it together.JACKSON F.

I attempted to rent from the Rodeway Inn first, but quickly realized the man I was dealing with was trying to rip me off by over charging me. Thankfully I have previous business dealings with Donna and Alan from the feed store and was able to contact them via personal cell phone. They gladly came into the store after their regular business hours to help me get the UHaul I needed at the correct price. Uhaul should be absolutely ashamed to allow the people at Rodeway Inn to continue to do business.AUDREY I.

We had reservation at terre haute Indiana and no one showed up for us to pick it up. We were moving my mother who had a sever stroke very stressful and we were really strapped for time. NOT HAPPY with terre haute. At all not sure how they stay in business. If Paris IL location had not been able help we would have been in serious trouble.Gary H.

The equipment had a pre-existed damage and the problem was not pointed out to me nor noted in the rental form. I took the equipment home on Saturday (50 miles from the rental office) and discovered the issue and called the rental office. There was no one there to answer the phone. I went to the office on the next Monday just to discover that they closed the office and would not return until the following week.thomas C.

I returned the unit to a Uhaul facility on 8th St in Tilton Illinois on the day I was suppose to at 4:38PM well before 7PM and with a full fuel tank and swept but was still charged $25 for cleaning charges. I would appreciate that $25 refunded back to my credit card immediately.Leonard H.

TRUCKS NEED CRUISE CONTROL. I drove over 222 miles. Difficult to keep speed at limit. ALSO make sure place of rental know everything a customer needs to know. I first dealt with Whipporwill Antique Mall in Marshall. They need much more training. I reserved at 15 ft. Day before pickup the sent a reminder for 10 ft. One time the said only 23 hours before return. I will never deal with them. AND I will need another truck in a couple of weeks. I will be going to Paris again. Also Marshall took my credit card info & said they eould put a hold on $ so I could even return after hours & they would just charge my card. Moving is stressful enough without all this tacked on top.BRENDA C.
