Inside of truck was dirty, windshield has not been cleaned in a long time. Outside windshield was full of bug splatter. You could not see out. When I picked up the truck their was dew on the windshield and with all of the bugs I could not see out. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the inside cab of the truck. Especially when you advertise that they are COVID clean!

Everything was great ! Except had to travel 45 miles to pickup truck . There was 3 locations in my city and no available 26'truck/ u- haul should transport trucks to your location for smoother delivery of the truck you preorder !!!When you are moving this adds more time and stress to your situation

The trialer I rented was obviously old and in poor repair. And in fact, during my trip, one wheel separated from the axle! The trailer dropped to the pavement at 55 MPH. I could have been seriously injured or killed. As it was, it ended up costing my half a day and I had to transfer all my goods to a different trailer. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

Our only disappointment is that we are always arriving in town after business hours are over. So we always have to do self checkin on a phone and we're not all that tech savy.

On contract 93211787, the start mileage was not correct. Upon self-checkin, the phone app said I owed another >$400+ for extra mileage. I did not drive that far. The initial mileage on the contract did not match that odometer of the truck - I did not notice that until check-in at Park Rapids. I filled the gas tank in Omaha before leaving on 6-20-20, but had not checked the odometer at gas-up to see if it matched the contract start mileage. Learned my lesson. I should NOT have to pay for that over-mileage. The contract must've indicated a mileage of a prior contract or location transfer or something. Not amused.

I rented on line and received a phone call from u haul that said I couldn't rent that size to travel out of state with. She stated it was for local use only. She stated many that size are owned by the local u haul and the reason I couldn't take it out of state was in case I decided to only travel one way with it. When I told her I checked with local guy first, he said it was fine to travel out of state. She said many who work at local rental venues are just too generous and they'd be the ones out of the equipment if we only travelled one way and didn't return to the original point of rental. If not for the courteousness of the local u haul Rep, based off of my telephone call with the national rep, I would NOT be renting from I haul again. Only because of my dealings with the Park Rapids, MN u haul representative and his courteousness, will I consider utilizing UHaul again. He was GREAT to work with.

The lock on the rear door was difficult, and took me several minutes to get opened. The 1 dozen blankets, and the dolly that I paid for were not in the truck when I picked it up. We had to make do without them, and some of our furniture ended up getting damaged as a result. This is definitely not the UHAUL that I remembered from years gone by.

I did the online reservation application. It was very easy to use and It also shortened the wait time at the rental business. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. Even when I returned the truck it only took a matter of minutes to settle up and I was on my way home.. .

I know this is an affiliate not corporate, but they need to post hours of operation in their window. There's no indication at all as to when they're available. Especially now when everybody has screwed up hours due to the Chinese Communist's virus causing Governors to shut everything down.

I left and then found out later I received a phone call that they had more stuff I needed to fill out. My cell phone for some reason didn't give me the message until days later. I was probably driving in a dead zone at the time. But regardless, I was driving three hours away and would not have been able to come back.
