The drop off in Cloquet MN was difficult. We had to call someone to process the return of the U-Haul.

However This pick up location was over an hour and a half away from my selected pick-up point. It cost an extra $50 fuel costs because of the extra distance to where I needed the U-Haul, and an extra 3 hours of travel time to pick it up.
My daughter and I were in the midst of packing, cleaning and organizing the move out when we were notified of this 3 hour interruption the afternoon before the move. We had hoped for an early driving start in order to miss rush hour in Minneapolis, but because of this added 3 hours, we had to drive through Minneapolis during the worst of the traffic. This added another hour to your already 8 hour trip.
This was definitely the worst experience I have had with renting a U-Haul. If there were not truck available in the immediate vicinity, I should not have been able to rent the U-Haul. Since I was able to rent one, one should have been held for my use.

The truck we rented was very dirty, poorly maintained and definitely not worth the money. The floor was filthy. The check engine light was on and the check gas cap light was on. When this was brought up to the associate, he just said it was normal for the truck. The engine had a terrible rattle as well. In addition, the truck was buried all around with snow, top to bottom, because, despite it being rented, no one who works there could bother to prep it properly for a renter. We spent over $200 for a very crappy truck we rented for less than 6 hours. We feel completely ripped off and will never use this Uhaul again.

Trailer was frozen to the ground. Door was frozen shut. Employees were absolutely no help at all and were so annoyed that they were asked to help. Definitely will be picking up from other locations from now on

Tires on the trailer were not properly inflated. One tire was at 35lbs and the other three were at 55 lbs. All of them should have been at 65lbs. Because I have a compressor at home, I was able to properly inflate them for my 1950 mile trip.

Have the U-Haul ready for them! We were just told to go pick out a trailer and then left to hook it up ourselves, which my wife & I were barely able to accomplish. Plus we got filthy trying to connect everything.

Trailer plug was sitting in the dirt/mud, we cleaned it to make the lights work. They did not know where the trailer was and told us were to look. Said once hooked up come back to the office so they could verify it was done correctly, which consisted of taking. Picture of my license plate only.

I selected this location then it was changed to Sebeka (40 min away) from where I was staying. So dropping there was 90min out of my way. Worked with customer service and then traffic to change back to Park Rapids.
