This location is in an awkward place on the highway with difficult access, is old and dingy and run down, and has only passable customer service. The wait time to actually leave with my rental was far too long.

LOVEPREET SIt is a terrible location and the fellow that works there is not very hygienic and unprofessional. He had a big booger in his nose that just about made me puke. I was actually warned from the staff at the West Kelowna location about this person. I would recommend taking some type of corrective measures to enhance the customer experience at this location.

Gord NThe racist Sicilian owner, Joe, is dismissive, rude, and can barely speak English. He has no jack to lift the trailer tongue and expects me to assist in the unsafe practice of violently pushing the tongue off the hitch to the ground. Exactly the same experience as 5 years ago.

Louis SI will seek out another location for any and all future UHaul needs. Luckily my brother-in-law spoke some Italian and was able to communicate with the owner otherwise I would have rated my experience poor or very poor.
David CThe pick up guy at this location was nuts and difficult to understand. Will never pick up from this location again. I can only recommend caution if you pick up at this location. I nearly walked out and abandoned my reservation.
Richard Lwe try to reserve a truck in salmon arm but they don't have available a day before were suppose to take the truck. Someone phone me that i have to take it to Lake Country with a hundred dollar discount to my bill or 25km/ free of charge. When we get there to get the truck and pay the bill, i ask the clerk about it but it doesn't show on the bill that i get a discount... I was so disappointed knowing that i have to go to Lake Country and don't get anything for it..

Darryl CI asked for assistance in removing the trailer from my vehicle. The owner went on profanity filled yelling rant about my inability to remove the trailer myself. This rant continued for the entire time he took to remove the trailer. I will NEVER use this facility again, and I have to say it was the worse customer service situation I have ever been subjected to in my 65 years on this planet.
Scott GThe Parkway gas pick up experience was the worst customer experience I’ve had in Canada. I was greeted by an individual named Joey, who started on a rant about Canada. I took my time being polite and explain that I’m here for my reservation. He was having a hard time understanding so I showed him my cell phone, which had the reservation number and that started a rant about people who use phones. Next he said lots of people don’t return trailers so he needs to start by calling three people that will vouch for me that I’m a good person and I will return the trailer. If I was someone reading this recommendation, I would call this quite unbelievable and truly it was something I’ve never really experienced previously in Canada. If I didn’t really need the rental, I would’ve walked out after five minutes of his complaining and ranting. I found him to be fairly toxic in his communication. After five minutes, he picked up the phone and called individual who was able to take my credit card information. I made a note of the phone number of this other person and provided the credit card info. Once I was finished giving the credit card information the phone was passed back to Joey. His next words were “I quit” in a very assertive and unfriendly tone. I asked him if I could have the keys as I would like to leave with the trailer. He was nonresponsive so I called the 766 phone number to speak to the same person that I gave the credit card information. When I asked for the keys to the trailer, she laughed and said that the trailer does not have keys. It would’ve been more helpful for her to say that the trailer is waiting on the side of the building and someone on site will guide me to the trailer. In the end, I needed some parts for the trailer and I could’ve bought them on site but my experience was so bad. I decided to drive 20 minutes to the nearest automotive parts company to get what I needed before I return to pick up the trailer. When I returned the fellow (Joeys son) that helped me hook up the trailer was neutral, which was appreciated as I didn’t really want to have a continued extremely negative customer experience.

Greg SPossibly the worst pickup experience I’ve ever had with a UHaul dealer, and I’ve rented hundreds of trucks. This truck was filthy, inside and out. The cargo bay caked with mud. I swept what I could out myself, with the broken and useless broom given to me, while the belligerent fella working there talked my ear off. Took over an hour to rent the truck. The employee was helpless. Then another hour of wasted driving back from the wrong location, then another hour mopping out the truck at home before I dared put anything in it. I can’t believe you send people here to rent your trucks. Ridiculous.
Jason SThe older gentleman working threatened to find our family members if “uhaul wasn’t clean” and proceeded to say really rude and offensive things. My husband went in for a handshake for good measure and the man shoved his thumb almost under my husbands thumb joint and wouldn’t let go. Then kept making comments about fighting…. Extremely unprofessional, borderline assault

Mike CMy experience at lake country u haul was horrible from the beginning.From the minute I walked in he was rude ,swore at me and even threatened to not rent me a truck.The office was a mess no proper sign in papers I even had to phone his wife with a c/c and give her the numbers of my c/c .I will never use that location again or recommend to anyone How a good company like UHaul let’s someone like this be a owner operator is beside me

VERONICA EThe man that ran Parkway Gas used very bad language in front of me and my lady friend. He was very loud and very rude. He told me how mean he was and how much he hated the U.S. repeatedly. A very rude person. If I didn’t have to get a trailer, I would have left there.

SERHII KThis location was fine. The gentleman couldn't really help with the deposit issue but called for me to speak with customer service. Like I saidninwas hung up on. No one wanted to listen they told me I had 700km but that's not enough from grande prairie to vernon. It's almost 900km depending on route and then instill drove it 30km out of vernon for drop off. I amnmad and really feel like they do not care.
Kristy LThe man who ran the pick up location, (unsure of his name, but he was an older Italian man) was extremely creepy, unprofessional, and made the entire experience unpleasant. You guys tried to charge me and extra $100 to deliver a truck from Kelowna to Lake country (phone rep said it was a distance of 30 miles, it is less than 10). The truck was dirty, had garbage left in the cab, and was recorded to have half a tank of fuel, when it only had a quarter tank. Thank God I had photo proof, as your staff attempted to charge me for fuel when I went to drop it off. I do not think I will be using your services again, as there are far more convenient options available now. If anyone actually reads these and wants to reach out, please do not hesitate to. Once again, the man running the lake country location is a problem, and I can go into more detail if something can/will be done.

NELSON MWas asked to drop off at this location Instaed of in vernon to help them out. Arrived there after hours to drop off and was charged $20 for doing so. Would have just dropped off in Vernon if I would have known that. Place was nice (didn't see any staff since after hours)
NATHAN O"Peppe" was extremely rude, his foul language was very aggressive, ranting and raving about communism, and how I am f$#@ lucky I had a early reservation, cause he would of given the truck to someone else, there were rotten apple cores in the passenger side door well, the truck had a terrible vibration empty, and sounded like a hole in the muffler, once the truck was full the vibration evened out, but he did mark the gas level, but it was denied at turn in. I had to use the bathroom before leaving with the truck, but it was so filthy I walked out.

When we went back the second day the grumpy (and completely non understandable guy was there again ... but this time he was on the phone and passed it to my wife and the lady on the other end was fine. That dude should not be in the service industry.
DAVID WThis location was ok etc --but originally the auto hauler was taken away from us feom original pickup location in Salmon Arm without the salmon arm rep knowing until I got an email saying our truck would be ready etc-no mention of hauler. Eventually one was located in Lake Country which we had to go and pickup at our expense and time or we could not do the move to Alberta. Looks like more communication is needed between agents and traffic controller. Did not sit well with us.
George CI would never rent from this location again, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Joe was rude, ignorant, and vulgar. I’m not sure what his problem is but he is a terrible representative of U-Haul. I’m very surprised that he is allowed to rent their vehicles when he treats customers like this.

Terrance RThe counter person has a language barrier that is somewhat difficult to understand. He did not provide assistance with lining up the truck to the auto hauler hitch (another patron was kind enough to help with that part). There was no assistance with getting the vehicle loaded. No assurance with tying it down or anything. Actually once the paperwork was done via telephone, we never saw the gentleman again. I was quite disappointed by the lack of assistance. He was also a bit off-putting with his ‘jokes’.

Glenn BI had reserved at West Kelowna location who did. It have the trailer when I arrived. It was so incredibly frustrating. I was sent to this location, and the guy was great. I will likely stop for gas there any time I pass by based on the owner.

Heath WThe individual working at the location is very rude. Borderline harassment when you simply ask a question about the trailer. Yells, slams the table with his hand and swears. This individual should not be working there as he does not have any respect for customers. Almost felt like you are threatened by him if you ask too many questions about policy or trailer.
