I was moved to this location because my original pick up location FALL RIVER MARKET 1776 Fall River Road Lawrenceburg TN REFUSED to give me the vehicle that I had a reservation for. I was treated like a DOG at FALL RIVER MARKET and was forced to call U-HAUL customer service and work out the alternate pick up site. FALL RIVER MARKET needs to be removed from the U-Haul list. They are RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and UNWILLING to service customers who have reservations. Then U-HAUL wants to charge me $46 for fuel when I used barely an 1/8 tank of fuel. Terrible overall service and experience and I will NEVER use U-Haul again!! I will also share this terrible experience with ALL of my friends. Of note, Parkway Service Center did I fine job. No issues there.

When we reserved the u-haul, we were given a quote based on 19.95/day (was correct) and for the estimated mileage (approximately 80 miles each way plus). However, the original location didn't have the size truck we needed, and he reserved from another dealer nearby. Because the location closed at noon on Saturday (we didn't need to pick up until evening), we needed to obtain the uhaul earlier (thus being charged), AND was then told that the mileage rate would be the weekend 1.09 rate versus the weekday (we were NOT told that upon reservation). We literally drove the uhaul to our home/business to load, to Nashville for our event and needed to keep there for the week since they said one-way was more than a return), and then returned Sunday (which the location is also closed). To charge the weekend rate for the whole week (especially when not driving) is preposterous. How about charging the days by the rate actually used? Also, the vehicle was trashed, broken glass in the back of the trailer, and the oil light on. So, if something were to happen due to maintenance during a very tight timeline of delivery for the event, it would have been worse. Normally, we have no issue with uHaul. We use, in addition to our own trailer, often.

Patsy BHad a issue with drop off location. Hap chosen a drop off location on SR 101 In Rogersville,AL. Some time after i picked up the truck at the agreed location in Lawrenceburg, TN. My drop off location changed from my selected location to another location almost 20 miles away!? How did this happen amd why was i not made aware of the return location change ?

Donald MOnce again, the smart phone uploading of images and process was not working for me. I had to return to drop off during business hours. The attendant also was not able to use the system and said he would have to take care of it later. He apologized and said this was happening a lot.

Tom KI had reservations for a location in my town. It was triple booked so our reservation was changed without our notice. To another town and county then we were not given compensation for the extra milage. Very disasatisfied with the experience

Jimmy JMy truck was not at the promised location because the person who rented it earlier in the week “failed to bring it back”. Apparently keeping it several days overdue. They need to keep better records since it was a local transaction. I drove over two hours to rent the truck rather than burn up miles driving a round trip move. When a truck was located, I was sent to pick it up across town. The people there were not friendly at all and even though I had already put in all of my information he had to do it again. I wasted half of my day just trying to get a truck that I had reserved well in advance.

JASON AWe used a local dealership & they decided to close on Sat without telling me. Its only by chance I called to confirm & found out I had to go pick up the truck the next morning (Friday) because he was closing at noon on Friday. I think all local dealers who decide to close be required to call UHaul renters & alert them to the change, otherwise I would have been totally out of luck with movers etc all lined up. Pls require this of your local dealters!!!!

Shawn BParkway was great. They went above and beyond to help us get our UHAUL rental, but the UHAUL website kept crashing on them and it took them calling Uhaul to get us set up. I would definitely recommend Parkway again, but not sure about UHAUL company.
brian wIt’s not so much the locations apparently their hands are tied as far as what they get as far as equipment, it’s the experience in general. Every time I rent from U-Haul online they switch the size truck I get without contacting me and try to change the rate. When I order a certain size equipment I do so because it’s what I need and would prefer not to be put in something I don’t need for the rate I didn’t want. I would prefer to be notified that my preferred location didn’t have what I reserved and not sent to another location that didn’t have what I was looking for either.

steven sThe man told us it was only water resistant, not water proof. If that is the case, we will never rent from u-haul again. I think this wrong. After all we have no control of Mother Nature and when it will rain. We had a lot of things get wet and we never had this problem the first time we rented a u-haul truck. So we are not happy with u-haul at all..
