CHRISTOPHER HParney's were very friendly. I was exhausted. Knowing that their facility was somewhat small, I called ahead and asked how/where they wanted me to enter. The clerk said, "No worries, ma'am. Just pull right into the main driveway and we will take it from there," which they did. For a non-professional, I am pretty good at driving these trucks, but it was much appreciated that they were willing to maneuver the 15-footer around the tighter spaces in their lot. So great to have a nearby rental place, too. One thing, not Parney's fault at all, but just a rental vehicle thing: Why not just deliver people a truck with a full tank and require a full tank on return? The fuel gauge on the truck does not correspond to the gauge on the contract, plus, one does not know how big the tank is, so it is hard to estimate what "3/8" would be. I had 1/4 for sure, and you can just charge me an arm and a leg for refuelling. But a full-tank-on-return requirement would be far more sensible. When it's full, its full. No trying to look up the fuel capacity on the internet.

Joseph SIt was nice that we were able to pick up the U-Haul on a day that no one was there via the mobile pickup and the people that I spoke with prior to pickup were very helpful in walking me through how to do it. Even shared a video with me. I like the text messages too. Only thing I’d change is getting some sort of email/text thanking me for completing the return of the truck.

MICHAEL CDefinetly feel it was a little overpriced, had to pay to rent the truck, pay .99/mile AND fill it back up prior to drop off. Considing that I rented the truck and returned it to the pick up location and didn't go any further than 40 miles I feel it was a little overpriced. I rented a uhaul from a different location a few years ago and as long as I was under 100 miles I only paid a flat rate that was more than reasonable

Also I was on cut he’s due to surgery on both my feet and my wife was there and he did not offer to attach the equipment to our vehicle and the original place we had requested the equipment from had told me that it is uhaul policy to connect the equipment. But besides that. It blew my mind that he did not offer.
Tammylyn HUse paper instead of an iPad to the people can have a printout of what they need. The mileage was overstated by 500 miles.

Laura KThe cargo box of the truck was clean and ready to go, but the cab was filthy. I didn't want to sit on the seats or touch the steering wheel or controls. Thick dust and dirt and un-vacuumed floors, and the steering wheel and knobs were greasy and sticky. It was pretty gross. I'm glad I only needed it for a couple of hours. The dealership itself was friendly and efficient.

Susan WThe truck was reasonably clean when I picked up, but in no way spotless. I returned it as good or better than I had it and the vendor charged a cleaning fee because he said there was a muddy footprint on the bumper. This is not acceptable. He's seeking extra profit at the expense of honesty.

Heather HThe truck I rented was terrible. The windshield leaked so bad I got soaked when it rained. The door leaked so bad my back was soaked after a heavy rain. The steering was so bad I had to pull the steering wheel left to go straight. Worst rental experience of my life.

Susan LUnfortunately I think the PARNEYS Car Care Co. was put in a very tough spot by the rental process. I reserved a 15’ truck there for 7/23, the day my movers were coming. Received a call that night asking if I would be able to pick up nearby but elsewhere if needed. Agreed to this. Got to PARNEYS Saturday and told no truck available, sent to JONESVILLE for 10’. Got there and saw actually size of it, this was way to small to be useful for me. Called u-hall back, told them I needed the 15’ truck that I originally reserved and that there were a few at the PARNEYS location I had just come from. She reserved one for me. I went right back and when I got there, there was a man finishing up the rental process for a 15’ truck and another lady waiting in line before me. When it was her tire the agent was starting the paperwork and stated out loud that the truck he was going to give her had already been reserved to Armstrong! I said that’s me!! That pup all of us in a very uncomfortable position to say the least!! She ended up having to run to JONESVILLE to hurry to reserve a 15’ for the following day. So the big question is why was I not given the 15’ truck from PARNEYS in the first place!!! I’m very grateful I was able to get the truck but the experience was awful!!!
