Kelly S.I rented a truck for 3 days and they told me if I got it back before the third day when they opened I could get a credit for the day that I didn't use it for. I paid $99 when I pick the truck up, when I returned it all of a sudden they were telling me my balance was $130 and change. They didn't explain that to me very well why they charged me a different amount than what I originally paid. Also the website when I looked up to try and call them on the phone there were three different numbers listed and two that didn't work. so I think just explaining the fees better would work better for everybody. But overall I don't think I would rent from them again.

Jose C.This location was good only because of the young woman who helped me . The truck had issues and smelled. But luckily ran ok . The gear selector is all messed up and it kept jumping into tow haul mode and wouldn't let you shift from park to drive and reverse to drive. The location itself is alongside 29 with zero ZERO parking. I felt unsafe leaving my truck there. It was difficult pulling thier truck out as there is no room to jockey them around and I used to drive big rigs . The office is literally a 5x3 hole in Patriot towing building. I sadly wouldn't recommend. Go to the one by Lowes. The girl was very nice and at least got me through the day . She's the only saving grace here but I would avoid this problematic spot .

monica H.Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface when you check fuel and give the customer for the fuel level the location indicates beforehand (so the customer knows what to expect). Also you should state the approximate fuel level in gallons (depending on the tank size of the model). My particular model had 31 gallon size and when I filled it the gauge read 1/2. That means the gauge indicated I filled the tank up with 8 gallons, but I only put 5 gallons in the tank: so the gauge method is wildly inaccurate as a means of charging customers and it is unfair if your gauge is not showing actual fuel level. Some gauges adjust for fuel economy; which is what my rental was doing. I will not do business with Uhaul again if I can help it.
adam C.Rented a 10' truck. At pick up, truck was on empty, right front tire was low, left rear tire was low. I moved forward and resolved those issues , as my moving timeframe was limited. Drove. From North Carolina to Michigan and had to put air in right front and left rear tires 3-times. My truck was loaded and I was driving through states in rain. Unfortunately, the trucks wiper blades were very poor quality (extremely thin) and offer minimal assistance. It was a stressful journey. I have always utilized U-Haul for moving . Never even considered investigating other options. However while driving through the Appalachian Mountains concerned about the ability of my rental truck to make the journey, I began to make a note of other moving truck companies and will be investigating their rates and ratings.

JOHNEDWARD J.I have used Uhaul at least 10 times for moves and typically they have been great. This time was the worst I could ever imagine. Please see below. -The customer service at pickup was terrible. She kept answering the phone as I was trying to get my truck. -We ordered a hand truck and she gave me a little dolly instead. When my wife called after I got home the woman said she was confused as to why I picked up the dolly instead of a hand truck and that we could come back to pick up a hand truck. Two minutes later she called back saying they are actually out of hand trucks. -I then had to walk across a busy highway with a dolly to go get the truck. I couldn't believe I had to walk across this highway. -Every other time I've rented from Uhaul they go and inspect the truck with me. Not this time. I went alone. -She said there was a half tank of gas in the truck and that's where I needed to return it. However, it was halfway between 1/4-1/2 of a tank and I took a picture to prove it. -The truck was filthy, food was all over the floor, the door handle was broken, the AC was broken, the "mph gauge" was broken. -Finally, the moving company that we booked through Uhaul ghosted us! We had confirmed with the company two days prior and they literally ghosted us as we were planning to move. I couldn't believe it. -This was just an awful experience that I hope no one ever goes through again.

Brenda L.The location where I reserved is not the location where I actually got the rental from. The number to call goes directly to voice-mail and the mailbox is full. Went to another location. He looked up the rental number and found it was at another location about a half mile down the road. After I found the location everything was streamlined and I was on the road a few minutes after payment was complete

James B.Uhaul's traffic group completely failed to schedule us a 20 foot truck we reserved. Called the day prior to pickup and they inform us a 26 footer is all we can get. Call all day waiting on a pickup, get told a 20 footer showed up hours prior but was given to someone else because “they were already on their way†which means they failed to plan ahead and call to check if their truck was was ready. Pays to live in the third world! Talked to three different customer service folks on the phone, they are so rude it's almost like they're TRYING to be unprofessional and unhelpful about it. Horrifying experience, I hope I never have to use these people again. Note, this is an indictment of uhaul corp, not the people at patriot towing, even though they did give my truck away.,.
