I live in Davidson County, Lexington. Tried to rent a trl from the Uhaul Center in Thomasville. The store had 4 car transporters (this location was the only location in the cnty with this type of trl). Lights would not work on any of the trls. Had to go home search the i-net for a car hauler. Located 2 in Rowan County, Salisbury. These folks were a great example of customer service and how to solve a problem. The wrecker guy, solved the mystery with the lights. The truck was given to me with papers in the back on the floor and I had to clean it or Would have been charged. Also I was given a truck with less than what the gas mileage was marked at but it was 8:40 at night and the lady had to come back and make a special trip so she didn't walk the truck with me she just gave me the keys and left. So by the time I got in the truck and looked at the gas gauge it didn't match it was only a couple dollars off so I returned the truck at where it was left to me yet but they charged me $20 for not getting it back to the 3/4 Mark when it wasn't giving it to me on the 3/4 mark. overall I was disgusted with the whole trip of renting the truck and the storage unit from U-Haul. I've been renting from U-Haul for 30 years I don't think I'm going to rent from U-Haul anymore I wasn't treated fairly and I don't care for the customer service at the storage facility night check-in because the guy was very, let's say, not friendly let's put it that way

The Auto Transport that I rented looked okay. The tires were good and all the lights worked. That problem with this Auto Transport was every time you took off or stopped it made a horrible clunking sound and you could feel the looseness in the hitch. The dealer wouldn't know this unless they actually hooked up to it and pulled it around in the parking lot empty or with something on it. I told the dealer where I dropped it off and actually showed him, so he heard it for himself. I think somethings wrong with it.
