Paul is a great guy friendly mom and pop type place but they have one employee that tends to be a bit of stand offish and borderline hostile... did not catch his name but have interacted with him on two different occasions now and was the same both times... should not be in customer service

I was scheduled to pick up 20' Truck in Hanover Friday at 4:00 pm. I went out and they didn't have a truck, even though I had confirmation. Called Anderson's to see if they had truck and she called Corp. and they found 15' truck at Pauls. I got text confirmation at 4:18 to pick up by 4:30. I called Pauls to verify they had truck. She said they did but they closed at 4:00, I could pick up at 7-7:30 in am . I went over at 7:00 to pick up and Paul said that since I didn't pick up last night, Corporate cancelled my reservation and scheduled somebody else. Paul felt really bad and was able to call person that was scheduled to rent a 26' truck to see if they could move next day if I used truck today and returned to Pauls rather in Louisville. So I was able to use 26' truck Thanks Paul. U Haul definitely has problems in scheduling.

I WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL EVER AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND! I drove all the way to IN just under Columbus to pick up my Uhaul. Which was my scheduled pick up. Get to the place and it says no one is there. On the door there is a sign with a different location. I go to the next location. So- we drive 5 miles to where it says and no one is there either. I get a call and this lady says “oh well your location was changed. They didn't call you?!” No they didn't call me. So I go 35 minutes to the new location which is back tracking to where we just came from. Get there and no one is there. Can't check in. I call and I am on hold for 45 minutes just to get checked in .... then after I'm checked in I go to get the key and the tires are flat. 🤦🏽‍♀️ so I sit on hold for another 45 minutes for them to tell me sorry nothing they can do they are closed until Monday.... are you kidding me. A "yard man" comes over and tells me he can't do anything and the only thing he can recommend is that I go home and call on Monday....Finally get someone on the phone who says they can send someone out to fix the tire but it would be an hour so it may be better to go somewhere else to get a truck... I am told they can give me a new truck but it's in KY and I have to go get it.... so I call KY to make sure they have it and that the tires aren't flat and the old man was rude as fuck. Like I am a very kind person and never get angry with people on the phone because it's just rude... He said "Well sweetie it is Saturday and just like everyone else I have things to do so I am not going to sit around and wait on you. I don't know how you got in my system but. I didn't out you there"... so here we go 2 hours later back to KY to hopefully get a Uhaul with tires that are not flat. Only to drive 2 hours back to IN. Did I mention once we FINALLY got a truck FOUR HOURS LATER the air conditioning did not work!!! It was a TERRIBLE experience and I wasted SO much money in gas and an entire day of my life and my families who were so great to help. Ridiculous and un-expectable service.

We rented the uhaul for 24 hrs and when we went to pick it up he had rented it out for the same day and said we only rented it for a few hours. They when I went back to pick up the rest of my deposit I didnt even get a receipt for it

It would help if they had a sign stating uhaul. I was half tempted not to leave the truck due to no signage.

When I went to pick up the equipment the trailer that we had reserved they did not have it had to give us another trailer and charged us twice as much money then when we ended up driving with the trailer after the place is already closed we noticed that the lights did not work

The owner called me to chew me out because the blankets weren't folded. Called me "you people". My son in law picked up the truck and I returned it after we unpacked. There was never any mention it was required to fold blankets, ALL were placed in the cab level. He could have said for future reference it would be appreciated if the blankets were folded. Had I known I would have. In the future I will fold blankets, but for another company!!

There was no moving pads to rent. I ordered 3 dozen. There was no appliance dolly either. Paul was a great guy and helpful. Would recommend him any day of the week.

I would like to give a shoutout to Andersons sales & service. They are the ones that found and reserved our u-haul for us. I had called other places that day and no one had anything available. When I called Anderson the didn't have anything but offer to search for me. So I was able to reserve a truck not far from me. Many thanks to the Ladies at Andersons sales and Service. For reserving my u-haul @ Paul's Tire. We have already had friend ask " where did you rent your U-haul" I was glad to tell them. Thanks Tina Luellen

Not schedule pickup of Auto Transport based on a projected return. My auto transport, when found, was 25 miles away. Running all over God's creation to be able to get my equipment cut deeply into my time to be able to load the truck.

P aul went above and beyond to help me I was going to rent a Penske truck it was half the price I told Paul this he made a phone call and I was able to rent the u haul for the Penske price Paul made the pick up arrangements I was expecting a little bobble when picking up the truck the transaction went flawless I am very well pleased with Paul of Pauls tire and U Haul

I was very disappointed and distressed when I was told I had to drive to Carrollton, KY to pick up the car dolly. I picked up the truck in Madison, IN which is where I moved from.....having to go to Carrollton added an additional 1.5 hours to my moving day...most unpleasant. Although the U-haul reps were courteous and helpful, I will go out of my way to NEVER use U-haul again as this is the second time I've had to drive over 20 miles to pick up a truck or additional equipment to make my move possible. Very disappointing for a NATIONAL company.

The trailer we rented was filthy, and the attitude of the person who delta with me (Paul of Pauls tires) was very rude and unprofessional. He begrudgingly delt with me, and when the paperwork was completed, he pointed to a lot across the street and told me, "your trailers over there, somewhere. Just make sure you take the right one." No offer to assist me in hooking it up or checking that it was road ready. (2 of the 4 tires were very low on air pressure). I will never again rent one of your trailers from that outfit.

As far as I'm concerned you owe me $100 for the last 2 rentals. Both times you made me go 26 miles out of my way to get a truck when you could have brought to me. Your $50 guarantee should have coverage my mileage to pick it up both times. But will you? NO!

This ash tray was full of cigarette butts. Also upset when I had to make a extra 30 mile round trip to pick up truck in another town than my reservation. This also cost me to pay for an extra 15 miles, The People at this location were great to work with.

Not the fault of this pick up location-but it is irritating I had to pick up my equipment at a different location/city than requested on the contract originally. This also happened the last time I rented, and I ended up cancelling the contract. U-Haul needs to improve on this for SURE!!
