The car must be cleaned before it is offered for rent and gasoline must not be half a tank so that everyone knows that he can put gasoline in it.

ELKENO BI have been renting Vehicles at U-Haul for many years. In the past two years the Vehicle when received has been dirty inside. I am the one who has to clean the Vehicle in order to transport my containers to Festive events. Last year the signal light was not working and I was wondering why people were honking at me when I was making left turns or switching lanes. This is unsafe and the site should be checking this before releasing the Vehicles. I have photos showing the dirty vehicle inside. I have no issue with the attendant . He was friendly like always.

AHMAD AMy reservation was at 2PM. I was made to wait until 2.35 and I was asked to go to another UHaul center at Erin mills Parkway. I had to bare the additional fuel expense. I booked elevator for shifting at my building at 2.30PM considering I will get the UHaul at 2PM. Everything collapsed on the day.

NESTOR NI did not get my rental at 9am . I had to come back at 10am. I hope the $50 reservation guarantee is applied.
ANTHONY PIt is my first time to drive the U Haul and I was not familiar about the fuel policy. I just drove 13.4Km in total (including the way back to return the U-Haul). But I added fuel to full instead of middle and over amount I paid for gas cannot be reimbursed by U Haul. I feel this is upsetting.
LE XReimburse customers if they return the rental with more fuel that that whey they took the rental

Monya JI wish UHaul was more upfront with the costs for their rentals. When I put in all the specifics online I was told my rental would cost around $37. However, walking away from the first counter cost $66 and then an additional $15 for the distance that I drove. This is the second time I've rented a uHaul and the same thing has happened both times. The rental price I've gotten online has not matched the price that I've paid at the counter. However, since it is my moving day and I cannot change things now I end up paying the price and going through with it. I wish Uhaul had more transparent pricing.
JULIANNE SKnowledge of the equipment by the staff. I rent a new truck, only 700 Kilometre very clean very good ride except after loading the truck it did not restart. I call the location and the only help was to call U-HAUL assistance. U-HAUL assistant figure out that the truck had a locked steering and the remedy was to turn the steering and the ignition key at the same time. The process took more than an hour and a half.
JACQUES CThe oil gauge lit up 30 minutes into my trip. Had to pay for the oil top up and the store refused to adjust the expense. Insisted I should have waited for a repair service and then suggested I do an online claim as there was nothing he could do...

PAUL BThe customer service was amazing, we loved how convenient the pickup and dropoff was. The biggest downside was the vehicle, it had such a horrible stench, like who ever hired it before transported cattle or cattle dung in it. We had to roll the windows down for fresh air because sitting in that was impossible. It smelled of farm animals, and that got into our clothes and sofa fabric while transporting. This was a disappointment. Only wish they cleaned the vehicle before lending it to others.
DEVINA SHad a reservation for 9am. Location was locked, no access to pick up keys or get dollies/pads, and nobody showed up until 945am. I paid my movers $75 to drink coffee while they were waiting for me to bring the truck. Went to return the vehicle at 2:30pm. Location was locked, nobody to accept key returns. Had to use the app return, then they showed up around 2:50pm. Equipment was in good shape and worked great once I had it, but the hassle around it was very distressing on an already stressful day.
Dale KPlease NOTE - I had a horrible experience using the app. I was unable to have the app take a clear pic of ID which left me stranded until the location opened. Why does the app only allow you to take sefie facing pictures. It made it very difficult to take forward facing pictures which caused the issues

LEXI GThis is not the first time I rented a U-Haul but it is the first time I got such a bad experience. My rental was supposed to start at 9:00, and the guy opening the store arrived at 9:30. In the meantime, customer service by phone took almost 20 minutes getting my call only to ask me to keep waiting, with no solution or information whatsoever. The inside of the truck was full of dirt and rocks, I had to spend another 30 minutes sweeping and cleaning it so my furniture didn’t get dirty while moving. It even had a notification saying one of its wheels was low on pressure. Of course I didn’t spend any time taking care of it, since it’s supposed to be ready to use, so I had to endure the constant notification while driving. And the cherry on top was the call from the guy at the store calling me by phone to hurry up and arrive before my drop-off time, which was the same time as his store closing. I guess this is what U-Haul is now.

INTESAR ATerrible pickup experience. Mobile application does not work - it demanded that I arrived in the midst of the ocean off the cost of Africa, to allow to proceed with the checkout. Site barely works. It took me almost an hour at the location to finally be able to get through the very convoluted process. I called absolutely unhelpful support line, who switched me to roadside assistance, where after 15 minutes on hold I was told "good buy" and disconnected. I would avoid U-Haul if I could in the future. Definitely it is worth to pay more for other service, and save time and stress.
Mikhail GThe wheel pressure sensor was not working and displaying an error code. The attendant knew about this and said it wasn't a problem. There was also a broken light bulb on the passenger front seat. We removed the large peices and put a towel down so my son would not be sitting in glass.

Haitham MThe guy didn’t even check the right side mirror before giving me the truck. When I was driving, I came to see the mirror was not positioned correctly. I had to change the lane and could have met accident. The guy is completely ignorant and keeps customer in danger. He always wants good reviews but doesn’t even know how to give proper customer service.

Isra WI was overcharged. We had the truck for 1.5 hours and drove 6 miles and were charged $65. I rented previously from this location a couple weeks ago and had the same truck for 3 hours and was charged $55. I have photo evidence. Please correct the charge or I will call my credit card and dispute the charge
