The Man at the location was not there and when I tried to return the app wasn't working. Waited til the next business day and called the man at the location was rude and abrupt and no help at all. Then I was charged twice on my card.Yvette G.

The process went smoothly, so it seemed when I picked up the vehicle. Once I was finished with the vehicle at 6:30 and due back at 7:30pm I went online to start the return process. They asked to enter the miles displayed on the odometer....I did as instructed. Once the miles were entered it said that I would be charged a lot more because of the excessive mileage, keep in mind I only drove no more then 15 miles. Long story short the starting mileage was entered incorrectly. After that was resolved I had to call once more because I was never given a code for the after hour drop box which lead to another issue...and defense didn't make my move less stressful.Debrah S.
Nothing was covered about the truck and I was over charged. There was no drop box to leave the keys and Facebook should not be used as a contact nor should I be asked to return anything before my rental period is over.Sarah T.

Check tires and windshield wipers. Wipers made driving in rain was really tough. One tire blew and it took us 3 1/2 hours till we got back on the road. Also we reserved weeks out and the closest vehicle our size was 1 hour away. Granted, we are not in a metropolis, but it did make pick up hard.Austin T.

It was a nightmare! This place should NOT handle your equipment! Truck had homeless employees belongings inside. No Blankets for use. Couldn't print paperwork printer not working. Couldn't tell me the difference between insurances and what it covered. 1 girl in office that was trying her best and did well under circumstances. Was owners daughter. She deserves a raise. Terrible experience .Re D.

When I went to Payless Auto Sales, 932 W. Isabella Street, Salisbury, MD, " Phiel" greeted me and said he had to pick up his wife and would be back in 15 minutes. When "Phiel" returned, it took him 40 mins to use his desktop computer to generate a U-Haul paper contract while I waited STANDING by his desk. He said he was having a lot of trouble with Pennsylvania headquarters. I requested a one day rental. "Phiel" said his computer was having problems and I should call U-Haul headquarters at 215-829-0667 to correct the rental to a 1 day rental after I return the trailer. Also, no one helped me to hook up the 5 x 8 U-Haul trailer which I hooked up myself without any problem using my adaptor connection wires. The next day, I parked and disconnected the U-Haul trailer myself because no one was available when I returned the trailer. The U-Haul location is a busy used car lot called: PAYLESS AUTO SALES 932 W. Isabella Street, Salisbury, MD 21801 I have owned 3 different boats in my life and do not have any problem hooking up and unhooking U-Haul trailers, but usually there is help at U-Haul rental facilities because U-Haul is concerned about liabilities if a U-Haul trailer separates from the towing vehicle. Please reduce my rental fee from 2 days to one day, and credit the overcharge to my credit card or mail me a U-Haul refund check. I returned the trailer within 25 hours. Yes, I was a little late getting through traffic to return the U-Haul trailer within 24 hours. Sincerely, Irving J. Brenda Cox is very excellent in what she does at Salisbury storage and uhaul she got me on the road when i was in booneville ms . at bullocks outdoor power and she's located in Salisbury md i spent three hours at bullocks all I had to do was sign my contract and get the keys the uhaul was paid for in Salisbury md to Brenda Cox when i arrived at the pickup location the woman there wanted my credit card info I told her she didn't need that when everything has been paid for in advance this location seems very shady my experience there is a horror story they should not be a uhaul dealer they couldn't even give me a $28.10 refund they had to give me a check which I had to find there bank and get It cashed I could go on and on and on about bullock power in booneville ms. The location is ok but the staff that helped were slow and weren't sure about the online checkout. They were also not informed on the equipment completely as they argued what size ball was required when u-haul had clear sizes online. Despite these issues the equipment was well maintained and check in went better.Tim A.

When a reservation is made, honor it (especially when made almost 3 weeks in advance). We did not choose this location. We were told our preferred location (the drop-off location) only had pick up trucks. Upon drop-off, the location had numerous trucks, including ththe 26' option. We only took the truck for one day. How is it that not one of the at least 10 vehicles we saw available? But, the main point is that reservation does not mean you may have the item.Blair C.
Be sure the customer does not have to read his credit card number out loud and receiving area of people trying to buy cars at various other people passing through hearing my whole conversation I had to State my credit card number out loud 4 times and then I called U-Haul and explain exactly what happened not to mention the callbacks That was supposed to happen before 6 p.m. the night before the rental telling me where I can pick it up and then that never happened and then on the website it said before 10 a.m. I would receive a call that never happened after complaining to you all about the credit card deal as stated. I hold UHaul responsible if my debit card is hacked and after speaking with Uhaul on the telephone she asked how i would like someone respond to me I said by telephone they e-mail'ed me instead I AM NOT FINISHED WITH THIS YOU GUYS.richard W.

I had to clean out the trailer before I got off the lot and it had used tires in it and the man told me to take to the dump before I use it i missed my time line on moving and I got billed from Saturday till Monday I did not need all that time the man told me I have to or can't get the u haul i return it Saturday night but still got charged till MondayBARBARA V.

The lady at the desk did not know how to rent the truck, we had to wait for a manager who was not in the office to come back. Also the truck was dirty inside the cab and the box(floor), not to mention the rear tire had only 3lbs of air in it (talk about dangerous). Hopefully this uhaul rental company looks at these issues and fixes them before they give a bad reflection of the uhaul brand.Edward S.

They rented me a trailer without working lights. When I asked them to fix it, they said they could not, and that I had to take it to another uhaul location for repair. This added 2 hours of wasted time during a time crunch as we were leaving town. I was completely dissatisfied with this location and would suggest they are likely hurting your reputation.MATTHEW L.

The person who worked there "inspected" the lights and turn signals while I operated the switch/pedal and told me all was good. When I brought the trailer home I found that the wiring harness was all messed up and no right turn signal, also bottom right light had no connection to wiring harness, also running lights worked intermittently.James B.

The website stated that the UHaul operation was open 7 days a week. It was not. I asked to pick up the truck on Sun 2/17. The owner was accomodating and made the truck available on Sunday morning at 9:30AM. The agent could not print a copy of the contract because he did not now how to use the software. I believe I was overcharged by $10. The truck cabin was dirty and smelled terrible - like a wet, dirty dog. I had to drive 3 hours to my destination with the windows partially open with an outside temperate of 30 degrees. I did not ask for another truck because that was the only one that the store had and I needed a truck. The storage area wasn't clean either. It had cigarett butts and dog food on the floor and smelled of a animal also. Please consider refunding some of my cost or I can find another rental company.JOHN D.

No dolly was provided and they couldn't "find one" on site. I was still charged for a dolly. Did not provide the size of truck I requested. Was forced to pick up the truck in Downtown Salisbury instead of a small town, Delmar, like I requested.MATTHEW H.
The man on the phone the day before was very polite and so was the man who was there the morning I picked up the truck. HOWEVER, he was there alone, the phone kept ringing, he had never done a UHaul rental on the computer before and I was there for almo st 40 mins. Also, the driver side mirror was so loose it wouldn't stay in place and I kept having to reach out of the window to push it back up. ALSO it was NOT the truck I chose on line and it was NOT the location I chose on line and they tried to make the pickup time 3 hours later than I requested on line. NOT happy with UHaul - if locations and trucks are not available, they should tell you BEFORE the day before.Lacey R.

I completed the online reservation but we had to provide the same information to the local Uhaul dealer which seemed redundant and a waste of time. In addition, the local rep was unfamiliar with your computer system and fumbled his way through the reservation and pickup process. Ovetall, it was not a good experience.James M.
When a customer states a preference for pickup, at least tell them that location desired is not open on the pick up date. We had to inprovise to mate up the car transporter location, and the 26 ft truck had to be picked upp at a less convenient location. Other than that things were mostly good. Joe KernanJoseph K.
