So, when I picked up this U-Haul it had exactly a half tank of gas. On my way to drop it off I put gas back in the vehicle and it ended up filling the gas to almost 3/4 of a tank. Upon dropping it off I was told we went 1.5 miles further than what was originally planned. I’ve rented numerous U-Haul trucks in the past and have never heard of this. So, I was charged and extra $2.00 for the overage. I ask the very nice employee if adding more gas than I had to could just make us even and that was a no. It’s really ridiculous that this couldn’t have been worked out better.

My charges I believe are not correct because when I was returning my rental it looked like it had already been returned. The amount of gallons charged doesn’t make sense. And I need this to be looked at.
John KOne problem I noticed was when ordered the truck, blankets, and appliance dolly a couple weeks before my move and set to pick up in coon rapids. I received a call the day before to tell me I had to now pick up truck in Elk River. I asked if the blankets and dolly were there as well and representative told they did not know and I would need to call new pick up facility. I called them and they were very nice but did not have the blankets I needed, but had the dolly. So then I had to drive to another facility to pick up blankets. So just feel thinks could be more organized and maybe feel a discount should be offered for my inconvenience.
Joseph PWhen using the app to return the app reset after taking the 2nd to last picture and didn’t show the reservation anymore to continue the return, so I’m assuming it’s all good 👍🏻 I guess we’ll see 🤷🏼♂️
Rob ZThey didn’t know what they were doing. They were rude, unable and very unwilling to help us with the return of the truck. I had to call to get them to process the return 3 times. It got completed 2 days after I returned it.
