Overall, it got the job done. Only issues were with lack of truck maintenance: tire with low air, the wiper blades need replaced, the door seal was not intact making it very noisy when driving, and the truck cab smelled like cigarette smoke. The inside of the moving area was clean and in good condition. Pricing was as stated - flat fee, plus mileage - charged after check in. Needed to refill any gas used.
Rachel CI drove 13 miles and got charged for 6 gallons of gas for $27. That's 2.2 miles per gallon. It doesn't add up.

Kevin RThe initial call to this location was handled by the manager, from what I can tell. He was helpful and courteous and was flexible about the time that i needed to rent it. He was awesome. The other 2x individuals I spoke to in personal and via phone later on were not knowledgeable about the UHaul rental process in general. Neither of them seemed to know about the Drop-Box method of dropping off the vehicle, considering that I used the UHaul for 8 hours and they chose to charge me for 2x entire days. During the initial purchase, I asked many questions about what to expect when it comes to being charged. The guy acknowledged the milage cost and the initial payment, then continued to try and upsell me 3 or 4 times on things that I didn't want. He neglected to suggest that I bring the vehicle back with a full tank to avoid the large fee that surprised me later. I would have appreciated some sort of warning beforehand, but instead his focus was on taking more of my money up front for miscellaneous insurances and such. The vehicle was a dusty mess when I got into it the first time and the display constantly beeped to indicate parts that needed to be serviced. The 70 miles I drove were stressful, so I took it slower. I was late in returning it, but called before closing time to ask about options. He simply stated that I could drop it off even if they were closed, but then changed his mind. I dropped it off anyway 45 minutes after they closed and noticed the UHaul key drop-off box outside their door. I even called in the morning to inform them of the drop-off and let them know when I dropped it off. They tried to charge my card the next day for over $177, but it auto-declined. They then called me, I called them back. They tried to take my CC information and charge my card without even telling me what the bill was. I had to get the guy to ask the other guy what the dang total was! They explained that they charged me for 2x days and a huge extra gas fee. They were inconsiderate and explained nothing except "Just read the contract". It was aggravating, to say the least. My partner called them back and asked to speak to a manager. They said it could take up to 2 days! I hope I get to speak with the intimal person I talked to. He at least was respectful, knowledgeable, and straight-forward. I am still waiting to figure out what I'm supposed to pay these guys, considering the bill they sent me was for a completely different amount than we spoke with over the phone... This is such a mess... This is the last issue I expected over just a simple rental! -Rob

Tina NMake the after hours return software work right so that I don't get charged the after hours return fee because the piece of shit software can never collect the location data from my phone even though the web browser is set to allow location data to b e shared with the U-haul web site.

Dennis OLocation not open on weekends. Dropped truck off at 4PM on Saturday afternoon, (they were closed) and they did not process my return until Monday afternoon. They charged me an extra day rental and a $20 after hours drop off fee when they weren't even open. The place looks like it is abandoned at the end of a dirt road. Horrible!
