Turned in truck via app - never had contact with anyone.

ranae bThe guy that checked us in was very rude. We were short 1 gallon of a full tank of gas. He would not accept truck. And he would charger another full day rental. The gas station was not remotely close to his shop. We went and put the 1 gallon of gas in the truck. Once we came back he then says... you used more miles so now we have to pay $3.95 extra out he won't take truck and they will charge another full day rental. He talked to us like we were trash. Everything he said was followed by threatening us. If someone treated his parents the way he treated us... he would have a fit

URSULA NI ordered a utility dolly and it wasn’t there. Their 24 attendant button did not work, and the door was frozen shut.
Rhett WThe female individual that I spoke with on the phone twice was extremely short and not willing to help. She spoke in a tone that was like she didn't want to talk to me or answer my questions. I had originally scheduled this pickup in Bowling Green and it was moved to 11 miles away which inconvenienced me. I had no idea how to do a pickup when the store wasn't open and she acted like I should know how to do it. I had to finally just hang up and figure it out myself.
Todd HCheck in was easy and rep was very helpful. Only complaint is the fuel- have the truck full of gas then return it full. That way the person renting is ready to roll. Estimating how much fuel to get back to somewhere between a quarter and half is difficult.

CLIFFORD SI spoke to a customer care person. To file a complaint thinking that U-Haul would remember r me some of the money I spent on a dirty truck wipers that did not work that caused a film to go across the window. The tire on the front passenger side was bad no cruise control no power windows and was dirty inside and out! I have pictures of it all. Which I sent to U-Haul. You should do better by your customers I have rented from U-Haul before never again!
MICHELLE RThe site states key is in lock box and to place back in the lock box. However, no lock box was pervaded and key was sitting in the bed of the truck unlocked when we arrived. I was not comfortable leaving the key the way I found it

Chris CCame early in the morning to pick up a truck. We were on a tight schedule and I had followed the steps the app told me to do, however, there was no option to pick up the truck I had reserved. After 20 minutes trying to get the app to work, we were able to get through to customer service, who then sent us a link to the truck pickup. This was nowhere to be found on the app or the website. Okay, cool. No problem. We followed the process and eventually were able to get to the point where we were told to unlock the code lock on the back of the truck to get the keys. Easy, or so we thought. We were unaware that the instructions in the app gave us the wrong password. We tried putting it in for over a half hour wondering if we were doing something wrong or the lock was broken. We verified that it was the right truck. Were we doing something wrong? Nope. They gave us the wrong code! When the place finally opened, after over an hour, the lady who came in gave us a different code which worked. Get your act together Uhaul. This was the most ridiculously stupid process I've ever been through.

Amanda WThe truck wasn’t clean from the previous renter. Trash behind the seats. I had to clean that so I wasn’t blamed for that. Also truck had just a hair over 1/4 tank of fuel. Why aren’t the trucks always full?

Brandon Sthe truck sputtered and had a really hard time shifting gears. I was charged almost $70 more for 15 foot rental for two days week days,than the 25 footer i rented over the weekend prior. They said they needed to add 16$ in gas, but what about other $50?? Not happy.

ANDREW BThe location was closed thru the holidays. We had to do a self check out and it took 1/2 hour to get someone in Alabama to help us check out. A truck in Ohio. He was very pleasant and helpful but we had to do this in the freezing cold. Also I had prepaid and wanted furniture pads and there were none.

THOMAS MThey gave me a truck that was on empty with a $30 gas credit to fill it up partially. I came back and had to put extra in to make sure I could do my move. The 2 ladies didn’t know how to use the system and had to wait 30 minutes for their manager for a credit that never happened. I left cause no one there knew how to do anything.
PAUL LI couldn't get the online check-in and check-out to work but luckily there was someone helpful available to assist me. Overall this was a very good experience.
RONALD LI asked for a 20' truck and received a 26' truck. it worked out fine but kind of a big difference. They also did not have all the furniture pads I requested.
