There was a very bad smell inside truck

ANDREIA BWhen a customer reserve a uhaul for a particular location 2 to 3 weeks in advance. To get a phone call the day of that the truck will not be available. The rep suggest another location that is 15 miles away (closest). Uhaul needs to take into consideration that miles are not free. There should be some type of compensation for the customer when UHAUL doesn't have the requested truck avaliable. I ended up with a smaller truck which made me have to do 2 trips for my move instead of 1
DARREN OLast resort. Wouldn’t recommend unless you are desperate like I was. Took forever to get assistance. Picked up the uhual and there was less than a quarter of a tank. So we dropped it off with the same. Charged me double of what I was initially told was my balance.

Zero customer service!

Also, I paid for (2) Appliance Dollies ($7/each) but the location only had one to give me. I'd like a credit back of $7. I tried to report this just after we returned the truck but I don't think it went through.
DALLASLEE VThe truck that was assigned to me was faulty when I left the property it died on me and left me stuck for hours. Upon return I was charged extra for not filling the truck back up.

Denise BBattery issues.. After fueling the truck would not start. Contacted roadside assistance and while giving information to assistant tried starting again and it started. After picking up my personal items from storage, tried starting the vehicle and it wouldn’t start. Had to receive a jump in order to start vehicle. I had a terrible experience with this vehicle.

JOY STerrible customer service from Uhaul. Changed my pickup location 3 times over a couple of days - each one farther from the house and each one 'guaranteed'. When I wanted to return it to the original one I I had reserved from closer to the house was told I'd have to pay $120 fee if I didn't drive all the extra miles back out to one I was forced to pick it up from. Will never use Uhaul again.
Randy PRefund immediately. I only drove 14 miles, but paid for 30 miles. I was told I would be refunded in 24 hours. Nothing as of yet.
Vera HI dropped the Uhaul off on time on Sunday February 13, 2022 at 10:30am. . No one answered the door. I assumed the place was closed. I was charged an extra $59.40. I called and the managerMr. Day said his camera was not working, so they charged m for Monday 9:30am when they came in to work. He apoligized and said call corporate for removal of extra charge.

STEVEN SU Haul stole from me. Initially I needed a one way trip but decided I was going to take the truck back to its original facility. I called the proper channels spoke to the appropriate people. Was told it was a go to drop it off at the original location, AND they were gonna switch it from a one way move to a local run. That's $29.99 plus .99/mile. Long story short I got charged $180, and then charged again $17 for the miles. I wasn't ever refunded, and despite reaching out to uhaul via email and calls nobody has reached out to me or refunded my money. Do yourself a favor, and use a company with good customer service. Daimion MUhaul had a terrible smell, made our clothes smell horrible had to change right away. Since the smell was so bad we had to drive with the window open !

WILLIAM WI order equipment and didn't have in this location. I had to wait over an hour for my order to get adjusted. The truck was also dirty.
GIOVANNI DMy initial location in Chesapeake was closed, I had to wait almost 30 min to reach customer service, and then get a vehicle from a completely different location during rush hour traffic. Bronte was awesome...but this is the second time I’ve had a negative experience trying to pick up a truck from U-Haul. I would not recommend U-Haul overall for truck services.

Thomas CActually have the equipment you guarantee, at the time you guarantee, and at the place you guarantee. I was forced to switch from a tow dolly to a vehicle transport, from a 20 foot to a 15 foot truck, and they tried to make me pick up at separate location. Additionally, I was told that I was getting the vehicle transport as a free upgrade for the inconvenience, but guess what, almost 100 dollars was charged so I could lock it up. And for all the crap you gave me, all you could offer to help me out was 50 bucks off. Thanks uhaul, but the damn gas to go back down to pick up the rest of my belongings, which couldn't fit in the smaller size truck I was forced to use, cost a lot more than 50 bucks. I'm now avoiding uhaul for future moves as much as humanly possible.

Rick CWe were sent to another location, when we were almost to the second location the employee called and had us go to a third location that was about a mile from the first location. Our paperwork did not have a drop off address, thank goodness I asked. After about 20 minutes we had the location. I will never use uhaul again!

Samuel TTruck was fine. Picked up online. Issue was that they forgot to put hand dolly on truck. Went to uhaul center and they wouldn’t give me one without renting another one. Customer service finally fixed it but spent seceral hours to fix the initial mistake of Peters Market not putting on truck.
