the ratchet straps on my car dolly on the driver side would break loose even when installed correctly I did not notice this was happening until my first stop and noticed that the webbing that traditionally goes out and around the tire had popped loose. Upon further investigation when I would drive across a bump in the road and the weight of the car would come down on the trailer the ratchet being Rusty and unserviceable would break loose causing only one side and the chains restraining the vehicle to the trailer. Luckily I had cargo straps heavy enough to route around the rim of said tire and was able to restrain the tire to the trailer there for keeping the car securely in place. This added frustration involve my travel time to exponentially become longer.

I was overcharged on mileage! I have a photo of the mileage when I received the truck and it was 7592. NOT 7570! I know it is only 21.78, but that is a LOT to me! Please Correct! There was a big burn hole on the door too, which I also took a picture of and I took it back with more gas that when I left! I am very upset. Some one best call me soon! 540-908-7973

The entrance/driveway is really in need of repair - getting in was difficult with the truck and near impossible for a sedan that my ride back home was driving. It was hard to locate the key-drop box. I get that this is a transmission/auto place primarily, but it just wasn't a very comfortable after-hours drop off experience.

I was emailed the drop off location. It was thirty minutes from my home. I PASSED THREE U HAUL LOCATIONS ON THE WAY. Why could I not have dropped it at one of these three? My drop off location had no answer for that question. This was an automatic transmission repair shop. Really !

Contacted someone by phone. I was told to drop off the trailer on the hill with the rest and they'd check it in and email me the finial receipt. Guy on the phone seemed like I was bothering him. Figured out where they wanted it and dropped it off on a Wednesday afternoon. Waited about 24 hours for the receipt and when I didn't get it I gave them another call incase I didn't do something correctly. Got another gruff 'we'll check it in and send you a receipt.' That was Thursday. On Saturday morning after still not receiving a receipt I called the Uhaul main number. They followed up and I got my receipt. Shouldn't have been that hard.

I called to let them know that I noticed my contract return date wasn't changed (see notes on other location) and they said don't worry about it; just turn it in that afternoon and that I wouldn't be charged. Well, I was charged for the extra day.

Explain the rates !!!!! I paid 440.00 for a rental that I needed for 1 day. This is ridiculous and unfair. I really felt like U-Haul took advantage of my situation.

The customer service was deplorable. His demeanor was as if I was bothering him by being there. Very standoffish and rude. He did not ensure the trailer was properly hooked up or give any instructions. Before I could use the trailer to transport my belongings, I had to sweep it out, as it had and abundance yard debris inside. I would not use this location for UHaul or recommend to anyone else. If it weren't for previous positive experiences, this location would cause me to not want to do business with Uhaul.

Next time make sure the gas tank is filled up all the way before letting someone take it. My husband received the truck at 1/4 full of a tank. We then put gas into it before returning it and only filled it to the 1/4 tank because why should we have to pay for someone else's fuel we didn't use. We then got charged an extra $21 for not filling the tank up. So, I guess you could double check the fuel tank before loaning the uhaul to someone else.

u-haul told me to pick up the trailer at 3:30, even though I requested earlier in the day. When I showed up at the pick up location, it was closed. I called the number and the guy said the close at 2pm on Saturdays. He finally agreed to come meet me at the store - however was extremely rude and annoyed that he had to come back after he had closed. He questioned me why I waited to pick it up until 3:30.. I replied that's what the reservation said, even showing him the email. He mumbled something and finished my paperwork. I won't use this location again, not would I recommend it to anyone.

Have the office manned with staff as advertised. This was not my location of choice and they did not have all the equipment I requested. I waited over an hour for someone to show at the office so I could pick up the truck.

HORRIBLE! First, it took over 2 hours to get my contract and keys. Secondly, they didnt show me anything about the truck (emergency brake, walk around inspection, how to unhook or hook-up the car dolly). I even asked the girl at the desk if there was anything I needed to know about the truck and she give this nasty heads down look-so I said is it all pretty simple? Can I figure everything out? NO ONE EVERY CAME OUT TO THE TRUCK WITH ME. (FYI..Im a female, traveling from NC to TX in a 26 ft with my car completely up on the dolly). My older neighbor walked down and assisted me with figuring out how to unhook the dolly so I could load the truck). Im so pissed that it was too much for anyone to show me anything about the truck AND that it took a little over 2 hours to get checked out. OOOHHHH AND me and my 4 year old got bitten by ants for 2 days because the cab and motor area has a nest of red ants in it! Just H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E!!!!!!!!!!

Pre-use inspection criteria was recorded wrong. I was also quoted one price and they tried to increase amount owed when the truck was returned. Then wanted to argue even when they saw I had set the trip odometer to reflect exactly the 19.3 miles I had driven. They are very unprofessional and their place is filthy.
