Everything went well, although the truck had a check engine light on as soon as I initially turned it on. The light stayed on the entire time of my rental as well. Not sure what that was about.

Service person was 15 minutes late, at pickup, extremely rude, and showed zero care. When I returned at 1:10 he bluntly said "you're late" in a momo tone that resembled a scolding. He didn't smile once, and made it like I was inconveniencing him. Very little communication and seemed upset. If he doesn't want to have the uhaul add on for his company, then he needs to just get rid of it. Horrible person to deal with

This is a busy location, however, the employee (Achu) that took care of us was attentive to all of our needs. He was very professional and ensured that the items that we were renting were exactly what we had ordered.

The dimensions of the trailer were misrepresented so I wasn't able to use it at all. This is a uhaul problem and not the specific location

I request a pickup at an actual U-Haul location in Kitchener and about 2 days before had was told I had to pick the truck up in new Hamburg at a gas station location instead which was a half hour out of my way. And when I got the truck none of the Dolly's or furniture blankets I'd paid for were in the truck and I had to go back to the Kitchener location to get some of the stuff I wanted as they didn't have all of what I'd paid for. I was then told that furniture Dolly's are rarely ever available to be rented and am unsure why it was even an opinion and why I was not informed of the lack of equipment. Overall it was an awful experience by a company that should have their shit together at this point.

The iOS app checkout was confusing. When reviewing the truck manual and terms, I didn’t see the buttons on the bottom of the screen and pressed the X button to close the document, but it closed the entire checkout flow instead. When booking, I was confused by the rental time. It wasn’t clear if there was a cost for a longer rental, or a penalty for returning late. When estimating the distance travelled, the app asked for miles but then interpreted my answer as kilometres. For Canadians locations, it would be helpful to have both kilometres and miles since the maps and road signs are in kilometres and the truck odometer uses miles.

The car hauler worked great, very easy to hook up to the truck and strap the vehicle to the trailer. I would rent again!

There is NO attach and detach assistance, i usually rent a 6x9 double axle enclosed trailer and am 63 years old

Upon pick-up the girl couldn't lift to hitch the trailer and at return the boy couldn't lift the trailer, I talked to the area manager at pickup as the app was down telling him that the tongue weight was excessive and he laughed at me... I as a 63 year old man had to attach and detach the rental myself and then was charged a late fee

They were very slow and didn’t know what they were doing. (Although very friendly, suggest more training). We almost missed our pickup time, which would’ve incurred a monetary penalty! Trailer was parked on an incline. Need a curb or something to keep it from rolling back when unhooking. We used a rock to block the rear wheel. On the upside, this is the first time we’ve gotten a trailer that was in really great shape!

Let's start from the beginning. When I arrived, the online service would not let me enter for my pick up. Then when I requested a conversation to get help, it wouldn't allow me to submit the question. Also tried on my wife's phone. No success. Went inside the store and they had to resubmit my rental agreement. Then once I was finally finished re doing the agreement, I was told that all the equipment I had reserved online wasn't available! (ie. Moving pads, and furniture dollies) So we did without. Thankfully it was removed from my charges. Not sure what the point of reserving equipment is if the pick up location doesn't supply them. Lost a half hour in my day just trying pick up the truck. Also sounded like the front end of the truck had a loose steering ccomponents. Felt a little unsafe.

i thought price was 19.95... i always see that on the signs. kinda pricy... ended up paying $400. Best ting to do would be transparency

Staff at the location were friendly and helpful. No issues with the vehicle. The Uhaul website was a disappointment . I registered ahead of time and did the early on line check in. Once I arrived at the pick up location , it took 45 minutes to get my vehicle due to issues with the checkout process that the staff had to complete with me. Very frustrating.

The administrative process ordering and picking up the Savanna Van was excellent. Nice and friendly people. BUT, the Savana van was in serious need of maintenance. Throughout the drive, the engine warning light was flashing and a warning tone periodically sounded. The Left Rear tire low air pressure light was flashing and the Traction Control service light was flashing. There appeared to be a need to either balance the tires or check the alignment, as the truck would shudder when accelerating up a hill or driving around 80 km per hour. I pointed out the warning lights to the person from whom I rented and they said it should be OK...so, I proceeded with the rental. Once the cargo van was loaded and driving on county roads, the cargo van felt at times to be unsafe to drive and so I have rated this rental as Poor.

I had a lot of trouble when my son went to pick up truck. I had reserved in his name and submitted his drivers licence online. However, at check in it took him 30 minutes to fix a supposed error I made when I made my reservation. Did not download proper app??? Everything else was smooth and any calls to customer service were answered quickly and to my satisfaction as I had to make some changes.
