I requested to pick up the truck at 8 am. No one was there. Store did not open till 10 am. I should have been notified. I would have changed to another location to pick up. The truck was not there at 10 am to pick up, arrived late, left with truck 30 minutes later. When I returned the truck only 1 worker was there and he was helping another customer and after waiting to talk to him, he just told me to leave the key. So I left. I will not recommend this location.

Wow! I was impressed with the level of service I received from this location. The management team is exceptional! He took me out to the truck so I could get a feel for the 20ft, just to make sure I was comfortable with it. He explained where everything was located just to give me that extra reassurance. I was even given an additional phone number In case I had any questions, concerns, or needed anything throughout my u-haul rental. Wow! I highly recommend this location to anyone needing Uhaul services in Vicksburg.

I had to (1) help another customer hook up their trailer and assemble their hidden hitch and check that their lights worked - and I am not an employee. Did the owner care? nope. Owner/Operators did NOTHING. Then the owner showed up at work ,... and I still had to hook up my own trailer and check my own lights. It's hard to lift a 6 x 12 by yourself but since I am an Army guy - no issue. But what about the single mom like I had to help earlier? What if I wasn't there? I ordered 12 pads - and got 6. They smelled like smoke so bad you wouldn't want to wrap furniture in it. Great for a fireplace maybe. This company doesn't care. Don't come here - drive to Monroe , LA or Jackson , MS of needed.

The truck I had reserved and confirmed on numerous occasions was supposed to be ready at 8 AM, but I was unable to login to the website to allow for me to pick it up early. After over 2 hours on the phone I had finally been transferred to somebody out of state who was able to inform me the website was having problems earlier in the day, and I should try again later. She was correct, but I am not happy that took over 2 hours to get out of customer support. The day before my scheduled pickup I was notified my rental was changed to the wrong day (turns out the representative misspoke) and in the wrong location. It had been changed to a city 45 minutes away from where I needed the truck. Miraculously (he wrote sarcastically) a truck had just become available after I said I wanted to cancel my reservation. It was a much larger truck than I needed, but it was supposed to be available in the city I needed it. As I show up this morning to pick up the rental truck, there is another lady trying to pick up hers. She was not able to secure the truck she had been promised because she didn’t have enough cash for the deposit, and had to go to the ATM. This was rather fortuitous for me though, because we were both there to pick up the exact same truck. After she had left, I was informed I couldn’t have the only truck on the lot as it was promised to her. After calling the 800 number, this was over ruled by Uhaul and I was granted the vehicle. Still incredibly disconcerting this company cannot manage to count to two. Don’t even need to take your shoes off to get that high. Ridiculous. Either way, they chose to screw over the poverty stricken lady and ruin her day by giving me the truck, so I was on my way. I almost instantly could tell there was something off about the truck, which sounds like an exhaust leak. Good thing this isn’t one of those bleeding heart liberal states, so no emissions test to pass. The brakes were also just about shot on the truck, but the blower motor for the AC was long gone. After arriving to load the truck it became apparent the ramp into the back was also busted up pretty good from neglectful maintenance practices. Three hours later and I was done, and would like to congratulate Uhaul on losing a lifetime of business. I will never rent from such an unreliable and untrustworthy company in the future.
