Facility was closed at the time of drop off: A note was left on the gauge cluster requesting a receipt that reflected the final price for additional mileage consumed. This was ignored by staff. In addition, a telephone call was made to the business on the following business day which requested a receipt for the final price. The business is non-responsive to my requests, both written and verbal. I'm not sure why things went south.
shawn wGave me the wrong size truck and it had really bad tires for the weather and no gas should be some so you can at least drive it to your home..the depot we picked it up at was good customer service

Renee p1st- Vehicle had chicken feather, chicken poop, among other garbage items such as a pair of socks throughout the vehicle. The vehicle was also picked up with 1/8 of a tank of gas, opposed to the different locations that had clean vehicles that had fuel in them. 2nd- it took well over a day after the vehicle was returned on time for it to be checked back in as returned

Merissa DWhen we picked up the truck we offered and agreed to take the truck back to a location 2.3 hours away from thevremote location we were moving to., we had been we offered a great discount to do so. However I did not factor in how tired I would be after the move. So we were very happy that the receiving location was really easy to return the truck yo AND had us on our way in less then 5 minutes.
Kathy JBroken windshield, i feel like half tank of the gas was on purpose. So you don't know how much to fill up. I filled up way more than what i did get and still got charged extra for some reason.

MARTINE TMy only issue with this rental was in having to accept a truck far too large for my needs and then take it on a very long drive (Sault Ste Marie to Almonte). The alternatives offered were ridiculous: cross the border myself to bring the requested 10" truck across or be comp'd for a 2.5 hour round trip cab ride.(I flew to the Sault to get my graduating son). That I passed 7 X10&15ft trucks on my way home wasn't helpful. Your franchise holders all told me that they make more money by keeping these small trucks for inner city runs. If that is case, don't offer them on line and make the customer go through the change experience.

Matthew HWhat I had reserved was not available, there was no uhaul even though I booked, and I had to call 15 minutes before I was supposed to pick up to even have alternate arrangements made. There were no equipment available as ordered. Uhaul needs to do better at assigning these orders. I don't know why I even bothered to reserve when nothing was available.

Krystle TI asked for a 10ft unit and was given a 15 ft unit. I travelled 1400km up and down hills in Northern Ontario and this vehicle probably cost me an extra $150 in gas due to having dual wheels on the back and overall bigger size and weight of vehicle.
Gerald MThis has nothing to do with the location itself. My truck refused to shift into overdrive and therefore I had to drive 12 hours in third gear, and stop for fuel for a total of nearly 400 dollars in fuel. I am unimpressed with this as well as the disrepair of the tow dolly, not to mention that my wife had to sit awkwardly for the entire trip 14+ hoursbecause heat from the engine was burning her feet and legs through the gap between the doghouse and the rest of the dash panel. I am requesting a refunded discount as this is the third time renting a truck and dolly in a row that I have had issues, 3 years ago costing me my car, as the tow dolly ripped a hole in my radiator and pulled of my bumper, and the last two trucks now have cost me nearly $1000 dollars in fuel because the refused to shift.
Randy MGet the mileage right. The truck i reserved did not get returned. Told there was no other 15 foot truck...only one truck was available Was sent to pidges for a much larger truck. Pidges was closed. Needed to call 2 other uhaul locations one of which was local and they did not care (home hardware). Told they were understaffed and could not lool into it. The other location in brampton called pidges and found out how i was supposed to unlock it and get the keys. No gas. No equipement that i requested (dolly and furniture cover pads). Had the truck for 2.5 hours to move about 10km. Got my bill today and i was charged for 137 miles!!!!! $224 when my bill shouldve been approx $60 or less. Called to get this rectified...transfered to 3 different departments. Told i need to wait another 3 or 4 days to see what happened. Overall this was a horrible experience from beginning to end. Will never rent a uhaul. Will never recommemd it.
