Well, I wish the mileage charge was lower.

Teri FTruck was not ready when I arrived at my appointed time. The appliance dolly was not available, but a standard dolly was substituted. Also, there were only six furniture pads, instead of the 12 I ordered. However, the agent waived the charges for the additional equipment, I would have preferred to have the equipment instead. In addition, the distance calculated by the online reservation app did not consider the extra mileage to the drop off location, causing me to incur an additional $10 mileage fee ($1/ mile!).
Daniel MThey told us the u-haul was on a quarter tank and we drove it out realized the tank was basically empty, but we had to return it with a quarter also told us we would receive our deposit back well after buying them 20$ in fuel we didn’t use and washing the truck off for return they tell us we wouldn’t receive our full deposit. Guess that’s what the world has came to as long as you can make it look good on paper then nothing else matters thanks u-haul won’t use em again
TRINETY EThe owner of Pikes Garage ended up showing up and processing my license so I could finish up renting the truck; however, the scanner to read my drivers license would not download on 2 different cell phones. If the owner would not have showed up, it would be a whole different story, Things went well after that but I spent an hour trying to download the scanner and calling U-Haul about 5 different times.

MITCHELL HMy experience was excellent
James PI asked to return the truck to a different location & wasn't told I had to return it to same location. Got a text & an email I had to pay another $230 for returning to wrong location. I actually returned the truck 2 days early & was told I'd get one day refund. I haven't gotten a dime back plus I had to go get the truck & return it to the original location. I'm done renting UHauls!

Sandra HThe 10’ truck had been smoked in not just the smell and ashes but the windshield had a film/ build up from being smoked in that made it difficult to see when the sun hit it at different times.

Bridgette BDouble check the mileage allotment. I was allotted about 15% fewer miles than the actual distance from pick-up location to drop- off location with no detours, side trips, or other “extra” travel. Other than that, everything was great.

Robin SOriginally schedule for one location pickup but 4 days later referred to another uhaul affiliate. The 1st in chilhowie va horrid the next ok, except told me I would get cash dep. Back at drop off. More importantly, it has now been over a week and I have yet to receive my deposit back. I received email saying it would be sent usps but still have not received
Samuel LWhen I arrived they had no trailers. I had to wait for the trailer while they brought it on a flat bed truck. Also, they didn't print paper work for me to carry in my truck. They sent it to my email which does me no good while I'm hauling the trailer to show that I am legal with the trailer. There whole operation was very poor. There wasn't much room to drive in there and move around. It's places like this that cause me to want to stop renting from uhaul and buy my own trailer.

NOELVERNARD CWe rented a cargo van! The day before I got a call saying I get a 15 foot truck and I got charged double more! I will never use U-Haul again. NEVER! I couldn't drive the truck and had to find someone to drive for me. He complained the whole way. Thanks a lot. Not!
