I answered no that I would not recommend this location due to the following: - I received a text message that said I had from 10 AM on the 12th until 10 AM on the 13th to pick up my trailer. I went to the facility to get my rental around 11:30 on the 12th & there was a note on the door that they would be back around 1:30. I called @ 2:00 & still no answer. I left a voice mail on the answer machine leaving a call back # for him to let me know when he would return, but I never received a call back. So I then went down at 3:00 & was told I had no rental due to cancellation. They had cancelled my rental. He said that it was their policy to cancel it if I did not show up within an hour of my 10 AM on the 12th. But then he informed me that they had one on the premises & I could rent that one. - I was wanting to change my hitch out & the U-Haul place did not have any tools, nor did they offer to help in anyway. I used a U-Haul facility in Athens, GA & they helped me do everything as far as my rental & hookup needed. I was alone this time in KY & I just assumed that all places were alike. I will have to say that the attendant was very nice. But since my rental got cancelled, I did not get a call back after leaving a message & since he had no tools & did not offer any assistance, I cannot recommend this location.

I rented a 6’ x 12’ utility trailer. When I picked it up it was so heavy that it required both me and the attendant to lift it from the ground to attach it to my hitch. Since it was an after hours drop off no employee was available to assist me to remove it from my hitch. I literally had to wear a back support brace and with some help from my wife and everything in me we finally were able to lift the trailer from the hitch. This left me with some lingering back strain. I own a small 6’ x 10 utility trailer myself and as most utility trailers have a support on the front that raises and lowers the tongue of the trailer until the appropriate height is reached . Why does U-Haul not implement a feature like this on their trailers ? I for one will not be renting this size trailer from U-Haul ever again due to the lack of this feature and the strength required to attach and remove it .

SHEILA HMake sure trucks are usage to drive. We had to have a mechanic come out and fix the truck. Caused a big delay in our moving. I appreciate that these trucks are on the road constantly but they should have maintenance done after every few trips, especially when the trips are long ones. The mechanic had to replace two front tires, rotate the back ones. He checked tie rod ends and greased the truck. He had a two hour drive just to get here and he worked for over two hours to fix it. He was very thorough and very polite.
JEFFREY WThe U-Haul I rented was in extremely poor condition and clearly not roadworthy. The vehicle was old, poorly maintained, and had a serious issue where it would repeatedly stop working, requiring a 15-minute wait to restart. The engine was excessively noisy, making the driving experience even worse. When I reported these issues upon returning the vehicle, the staff at the center responded dismissively, saying, “Oh, is it? I’ll see to it,” with no sense of urgency or accountability. This level of service and maintenance is completely unacceptable for a company of U-Haul’s stature.
SUBBU TShould be easier to do returns at this place everyone who rents should have a pin code i had a hard time returning the U-Haul here even with the Tech support on the line.

Brandon HNo one was there at 1:00 p.m. But we dropped the trailer off and called an hour later to see if they had checked it in yet. They had not checked it in yet but said they would. They finally checked it in just after 4:00 p.m.
Mel SUpon arrival to the drop off location, I informed the person at the front desk that I had a trailer to drop off that was arranged via Uhaul. I told the person my last name and he was able to pull up my information promptly, unhook the trailer, and finalize everything in a very quick manner.
sarah hI was picking up a car hauling trailer and the two guys in the office noticed that my car that I was pulling was going to be a low-profile car. When they saw this, they were very helpful in giving me additional in site on how to load the car. I took their knowledge and used it. I didn't have any issue with loading my car and it arrived at the tow location damage free. One of the guys came out and hooked the trailer up for me as well.

Francis HTrailer pulls very bad wham empty. Seems as if the weight distribution is off. Should be 60/40 but feels almost 50-50 causing it to road walk a lot and tires are way to hard causing a lot of bounce. I like the old trailers better

Chris VThe only problem I ran into was I had planned to get off work at 8, get the U-Haul at 9, and be at the store to pick up my furniture before the store closed at 10. When I got to the pick up location at 9 the process took so long to verify my identity that it was 9:45 by the time I was rdy to drive away. Luckily, I made it there at 9:58 just as they where closing the doors and got to get my order.
