Maik NWhen I booked the trailer I said i would pick it up on July 30th and return it Monday Aug 5th. I was quoted $280 and told I would get a discount because I had to drive 4 hours to get it. I returned it Aug 4th in the evening, the day before the 5th and I was charged an extra day. You say your calls are recorded, check the recording for when i booked it. I have no idea why i was charged for an extra day when I returned it before the day i booked. I called today to ask why, no joy. $30 isn’t a big deal, i would like to know the reason. Thanks.

Brad CAttendant should be more knowledgeable about the Uhaul trucks. Brochure on uhaul would have been appreciated. Vehicle dropped off in Penticton with almost 1/2 tank of gas extra. Credit for the excess would be appreciated.

I also received several annoying messages about “ … We have you set to pick up a truck under reservation (…) We can pay you $700.00 if you tow a loaded trailer from WINNIPEG MB R2C3B2 to MILTON ON L9T5C4. 9 out of 10 customers say it's easier than expected and would do it again! For more details, reply TOW. If not interested, reply NO. To opt out of receiving offers, reply STOP” This is unacceptable
Aniel Mtrailer was well maintained and handled great. U-Haul towing vehicle questionnaire was very helpful with selecting trailer size for job. Pick up and drop location very friendly and helpful.

Dan CTeach them how to process a customer properly, when I arrived the clerk told me that she would meet me out there so I went out to the trailer that was reserved for me and started to try and hook it up to my truck but the trailer had sunk into the ground,she then started to yell at me that I had to come in first to get the rental agreement first, which is why I went inside to start with, it went downhill from there and she tried charging me more than what I was quoted

Dan CI reserved a trailer a month in advance. I received a call on Wednesday, May 26th confirming a trailer pickup for Saturday, May 29th at the Dufferin Street location in Winnipeg. That location would be 10 minutes away from my location which was acceptable. After driving for 2.5 days and nearly 2400 km (1400 mi) straight, I received a call at 6:00 pm indicating the my trailer would not be available at 8:00 am the next morning and the nearest trailer would be over 2 hours away. Not acceptable. This is the second U-Haul trailer rental that has resulted in a horrible experience. In both cases I reserved a trailer at least a month in advance and in both cases, I was notified at the last minute that a trailer would not be available for pick up. I will not be using U-Haul ever again and will certainly not recommend U-Haul to anyone from this point on.

carol oThe staff at this location were wonderful and helpful. Unfortunately this was not our chosen location. We had to drive 45 minutes from our home to reach this location - adding significant travel to our already stressful and long move. After being told to go to that location - UHAUL called when we were 5 minutes away from pilot mound to tell us our truck was not available - and that we could drive another hour and 20 minutes to pick up a smaller truck.

The representative who helped me sort this out - Adam from Manitoba - was VERY helpful but it was an inconvenience to have to travel to get my truck, adding almost 4 hours to my driving day.

Sylvio SI questioned why I needed to make a reservation because I had to do it all over again at pick up. Furthermore, the proprietor didn’t have the paperwork necessary and couldn’t be bothered to come down and bring the paperwork, even though I stopped in the evening prior, saying what time I would be there next morning to pick them up. I lost valuable time, while my helpers were waiting on me to do the whole rental agreement all over again over the phone.
Eugene FCheck to see if the trucks have a charged battery and gas in the tank when they've been sitting on the month for a month. Our truck had neither a charge or gas.
Susan DI booked the truck in Virden, and was agreed the truck would be in Brandon. I drove 19 hours to pick up the truck only to find out the truck and trailer were in Pilot Mound. However, the gentlemen at the Esso were helpful and the lady I spoke to on the phone handling the booking traffic was amazing. I will use Uhaul again.
