The location was good. But...UHaul change my location and sent me to multiple locations to get my trailer. After getttold to drive an hour away I called the 800 # and got a trailer from the original location. Again...the location was great, but very frustrated with UHAUL overall!

Stay away from PINEDOG AUTOMOTIVE (37098) 1000 E LAUREL ST UNIT A FORT COLLINS, CO 80524 (970) 495-0089. The place is filthy and stinky and safety concerns have no place here. Also there’s not the usual sense of security that comes with a visit to the neighboring UHAUL dealership that I’m used to. No break check lights left, no left or right lights checked. What they do excell in is charging me $500.27 for a small motorcycle trailer one way to Pagosa Springs CO. I’m no expert in this business but I remember I only paid a small fraction of this amount for three times the distance not to long ago. We moved from Houston TX to Pagosa Springs CO. last year. You can improve your your name and business by closing down this s…..holes in your locations in Ft. Collins CO. I would. That’s places and people like that that hang like a millstone on the neck of an otherwise great business. Don’t let them drag you down to their level of thievery. It’s not going to last very long before people start going to competitions. I will. I demand a refund for shameless overpriced charge. A fair amount would be half of what I had to pay at that rathole in Ft. Collins.
MIHAIL PShop didn't open until 820 and pick up was at 8. When returning truck at 2 pm the place was closed. The owners son has pulled up ahead of me with his friend. He told me nobody was there and I asked to pull truck inside of gate. He said there was no room but plenty of room.. he said park it on the side of the street and put keys in drop box. I had dollies rented and inside of truck. I was not told the place would not be open when I returned truck.

JASON MI rented a van to move a couch I got on marketplace. Tried to do it with the mobile pick up option and when I got there I guess it wasn’t properly set up so they had to check me in manually, luckily I got there right before close. When going through the checkout process the dude signing me up checked every up charge option available without asking me. I noticed this and that the rental would be about $20 more than I had originally thought but didn’t say anything because it was clear he was about to close down the shop and I didn’t wanna cause a hassle about anything that forced him to stay there longer than he needed. Clearly I gave him too much respect because after picking up the couch and dropping the van back off in an hour (which I had rented for 2 hours), and checking my receipt the next day, I saw I was also charged a $25 cleaning fee. All I did was pick up the couch and drop it off at my apartment, the couch wasn’t dirty either and I did nothing else so there is no way the van was any dirtier than when I got it. I was stupid enough to not take pictures after dropping the van off because I thought the operator of this place seemed like a decent and honest guy. Clearly I was wrong, so the only recourse I have now is this review. If you rent a U-Haul from here you will get it and it will work but be aware the operator will try to milk you for every penny he can. Be smarter than me and make sure to say something if you don’t want the insurance up charge and take pictures when you drop the van off. What was advertised online as a $35 van rental ended up costing me $80. Will definitely be going to an official U-Haul location instead of this place if I need to rent one again.

I will never rent from uhaul again after this experience. I am also sharing my experience with friends and loved ones.

Shannon CI expect Uhaul to be slow, and to give be my 24 hours based on when I had scheduled pickup rather then when they managed to process a three-person line. That the tank was “full” wasn’t worth the potential additional time pointing out that it wasn’t, but I went six miles and stopped at three gallons to refill…these trucks have got to get better than that! Then I got a call, asking me to describe who I handed off the car to, because I guess this location is also a tow yard—I had to shout to open a gate alongside a black guy who they towed FROM HIS OWN SPACE—but amazingly, the guy who took my key back and said I was all set didn’t log it, so they called me to ask where the key was. Absolutely even far worse than my low low expectations.

michael wThe location was hard to find. No signs to indicate that you were at the right location. Took forever to get checked out. My appointment pick up was at noon and by the time the person got to me, I didn't get out of there until 12:37p.m. Good thing I didn't have to pick up my item until 1:30 p.m. Then, they didn't put in the 6 moving blankets I requested to protect my furniture. They left a dolly in the truck, which ended up damaging the furniture I had in the truck. They didn't remove the charge for the blankets off my bill when they said they would. When I called on 04/2/24, then they tell me they can't only corporate can. Not very well operated. Then, for a 6 mile roundtrip journey, to refill the gas was over $20. Talk about rigging the gas meter!
