Julian JWhen I made the reservation, the salesperson only told me about the daily rental rate, but never mentioned the mileage fee. While I understand the charge, I feel it was very misleading to not to informed about it when the reservation was made.

MICHAEL CWe had issues with our order on the U-Haul systems side. It took over an hour to fix our order for the discounts we were quoted. We agreed to deliver a trailer for U-Haul which complicated the entire process. I wouldn’t do that again. The staff did everything possible to escalate with corporate to get things fixed. They were excellent.

DANA NI’ve rented about 40 Uhauls over the past 30 years or so. At every single location I’ve ever rented out in my life the staff would help with whatever I needed, especially when backing up a trailer on their own lot. The staff at this location refused to help back the tailor up. This is the only location in the United States that has refused to do that for me.
Greg SThe location was fine however there trucks steering wheel cover is falling apart. There are large chunks missing from the steering wheel cover. The metal is largely exposed, really disgusting. The night I rented, it was very cold outside and I had to wear gloves inside the truck just to keep my hands warm to drive with the exposed metal. The front end of the truck shakes when slowing down. I struggled through but the amount that I paid for this truck was astronomical compared to what I got.
BELINDA CHeather was very helpful, she made sure I had all the equipment I needed and set me with a rental schedule that worked best for my needs.
BENJAMIN RThe truck was a little old...the engine had trouble turning over. Additionally, I used the truck to "haul" leaves and branches. I cleaned out the back but the counter lady said it was "filthy" and charged me $25. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars with UHaul in the past, this will be my last transaction with this company.
BRION HIUHauk needs to fix their manuals. Your online manual for the trailer says “Inside dimensions 8’8”. That is false and cause a lot of headache. That is the outside dimension which lead to my trailer being 3 inches shorter than I needed

DONALD JI rented Blankets and they took the order. When I picked up the truck I was told no blankets and you never supply them with blankets. Unacceptable
RONALD WVictor was excellent kind and good at the job. The truck had issues l. As I drove it it kept kicking into the tow/haul program had to take it off a number of times. Also the passenger seat belt strap would not connect. And, the right head light was not working. I mentioned all of this to Victor when I took it back and he made notes. Also , you need running boards on the truck to hard for a elderly person or handicap person to get in or out with out effect not good.
SHARON HMy rental experience with your Pinnacle Storage location was excellent. I made a last minute decision to move some furniture and didn't have much time to plan. During my visit to your office in Southern Pines, North Carolina I was helped by Angie Heffernan, she was exceptionally helpful and put me on the right track to get my rental off on the right track. After I met with Angie I travelled to the West End, North Carolina office where I was helped by Terri DeLion. Just like Angie, Terri was very helpful and a pleasure to work with.
MICHAEL FDidn’t have the equipment I ordered online, and while I was given a refund, notice would have helped me better prepare. There is only one person working at this location, there was a very long wait to be helped. Other customers told me it’s always like that.

BILLY SI made the reservation for a 10 foot box truck 8 days in advance. Two days prior to pick up I was told that the truck I needed was not available and that I would have to go to Pinnacle to get a 15 foot truck. I ended up having to hire a driver to take me 20 miles further away to get a truck that was far larger than I needed. The entire experience was upsetting. If your company treated all of your customers as it did me, you would have no repeat business. I should have been told when I reserved the truck that what I needed would not be available. Then I could have made other arrangements. Not a good way to do business!

Phillip NTruck had a major exhaust leak placing fumes into the cabin. Had to drive with both windows open. Also had to stop to get air. Wiper blades were worn too and had to drive in rain. Unsafe truck was given me. Discovered 25 minutes into a 45 minute drive. Could not return truck. Paid workers waiting.

Anthony SDropping off a trailer after hours and without a trailer jack is difficult to do by oneself. Offering trailer jacks to customers would be an excellent opportunity to improve.
