I found that the ignition in the truck was often faulty, in that not turning the key the exact way resulted in a vehicle unable to start. I thought it might just be my lack of strength, but often I thought I'd need a pair of pliers to turn the truck back on!BARRY F.
We reserved our auto transport more than 60 days in advance for a 1500 mile move. 2 days before we were informed that the equipment we reserved was unavailable locally and we ended up having to travel an additional 6 hours away to get the auto transport. Very inconvenient. The trailer was clean and had good tires, however the wiring for the rear lights was less than acceptable. The wires had been poorly spliced and poorly taped which caused the passenger side lights to be inoperable. This small detail was noticed twice by highway patrol in Montana and North Dakota causing additional stress to an already difficult family endeavor. Thankfully the troopers were understanding and allowed us to continue without making repairs. To all equipment renters, check and double check the condition of your rented item, especially the wiring to ensure you don't have the same issues as we did.MICAH F.

We live over 100 miles from this location, but we were told this location was the only location that had the size of truck we required for our move. You'd think that in all of the Portland, OR area or anywhere in Clark County, WA, there would have been a truck this size for us to use.MARLENE M.

Provide some support for the on-site person processing customers through checkout process (obtaining the rental). The process is understandably lengthy and detailed, so if even a second customer comes in to checkout a rental, it is a long wait for them, even though the onsite person was very competent. Unforeseen items such as processing the drivers license - my phone coverage was very poor, so no fault of the on-site person, waiting for the photo to send held up the next party. Perhaps a monitor with virtual capabilities and two-way video could be incorporated, for someone offsite to ask preliminary questions, begin information intake, and then pass it off to onsite person when they finish with someone else.ALFRED ROBERT T.

My order was so screwed up they had me listed at several different puck up areas, wrote down the wrong mikeage, and the wrong drop off location so I was charged hundreds of dollars extra. Spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to get equipment that was supposed to have been reserved for me and had to settle for other equipment. Not worth the aggravation. I have two options for Uhauls where I live and this is the ONLY place I will deal with. So friendly and very prompt. I never have problems. Give your money to this location...you won't be sorry. Sue is the best.Casi J.
Product knowledge: I was told that I could return the truck at any store at the destination - not true. I even tried to call U-Haul to affect a current rental to find out and was on hold over 15 min twice before I gave up. I also asked what lock would fit the truck roll up door and they had to guess.Pat B.
This is the worst Uhaul location; the lady and help never are friendly or helpful and my equipment and reservations are always messed up and the vehicle and cargo transport was in need of service and they NEVER help w/ hitching up or help at all. You need to address that location and manager. She sucks!Annette W.

Woman at the front desk is horrid. When I called to extend my days she barked at me that the truck must absolutely be returned per the contract. When I explained that the mover couldn't accommodate the unloading in time she said â€œwell dispatch is going to have to do this one, not meâ€ Then when I stopped to ask for help with the extra days of overcharge she scolded me and told me there was nothing she could do for me. When I told her she was horrible at customer service she told me ....more than once....â€I like that. That's goodâ€. Honestly a miserable person and not someone I would tolerate in a customer facing position.WILLIAM S.

The cost is horrible the uhaul was 19.95 and it was only suppose to be .59 a mile but got charged .89 and no where did I read there was going to be a cleaning fee and got charged 25$ for that. I rented a 35ft from Penske and drove it up here from Utah pulling my car on a trailer, returned it to a completely different location 1700 miles away and still only paid 450 including diesel I had it an entire week!! I rented uhaul for less then 10 hours 53 miles and get charged 123$. And I put an 1/8 of a tank more of gas into it then what I received it(on accident) Highway robbery! Yes the lady I dealt with was very nice but I will never rent a uhaul again the price is outrages!!Chanda I.

Had a flat tire and valve stem was broke, therefore had to drop off in different location, delaying my trip. Work on tire would not have been completed for at least a couple of hours. Then you did not communicate to pickup location what had happened and why the trailor was not returned. I was told they would let them know. I get phone call next day wanting to know where their trailor was.Mark B.
Truck had water and ice in the box. Cab had an empty moving box in it and had a serious chemical cleaning smell to it. Person we dealt with had troubles with the new system and I ended up having to scan my drivers license and load to the internet which I'm not comfortable with.Alan H.
