I’m annoying with the experience I had. The app would NOT work when I was trying to check in, which had me getting into my rental late (a rental I only had for 2 hours). The clerk was kind enough to check me in BUT ended up charging me for SafeGuard or SafeMove whatever it’s called without even asking me! Make sure you guys let people KNOW what they’re paying for. On the app, I opted NO. She said “I’ll pull in your information u inputted and make it the same”… it wasn’t the same. I got charged $15 more for something I didn’t need, want, or even approve.

DANIEL SAll the people at the pickup and drop off locations were great. But the trailer has some basic design problems. No tounge jack, turn knob for tightening is poor design, very few interior floor tie down points. My contract stated I did NOT have a designated return location but corporate wanted to charge me $75 for not returning it to the location that U-Haul wanted me to that was over 20 miles away. I returned it to a local dealer that was 5 miles from my destination. The local dealer was able to get that error corrected.
JERRY MTold cashier mileage was 10 miles more on truck. She said she would change in computer but she did not. OVER CHARGED ON MILES. NOT HAPPY. NOT FAIR. STEALING MILES. CHARGING CUSTOMER HOPING THEY DONT NOTICE. MILES INCORRECT.

Denise MOur personal vehicle left us stranded on July 4th with a UHaul 6x12 trailer. Was towed by AAA with the trailer to a hotel in Newport, TN. Never made it to our destination. From SC to OH. Next day July 5, we couldn’t get a tow back to SC with trailer attached. This 6x12 trailer was a round trip rental. So this local U-Haul was great and friendly. They understood our stranded situation and came to the hotel and picked up the 6x12 trailer. The driver/manager was super polite. We wouldn’t have gotten home that night back to SC if he relived us of the trailer. So Thank you so much Pioneer and U-Haul for helping us out. Your kindness is much appreciated by our family.

William WThe lady I picked up from was very rude. I was to pick up at 930 she didn't show up till 10 to open the business that was to open at 9. Then told me they didn't have power and she couldn't help me even though I had done the whole check in process online. I drove 2 states to pick up the truck and she tells me sje can't do anything because of no power. She finally got the truck for me but I was hassled the whole time.

Adlicia SI would not recommend using the U-Haul app just calling and talking to a local rental. The app had me register and rent a truck that WAS NOT THERE.
