ATA Ahave a location that isn't 10 km away from civilization... what a cash grab! ALSO... WHEN YOU RESERVE A VAN AT A SPECIFIC LOCATION --- IT SHOULD BE THERE WHEN YOU GO TO PICK IT UP!!! OR THERE SHOULD BE A BIG DISCOUNT ON THIS USE, NOT NEXT TIME. NEXT TIME I'M USING THE COMPETITION, FOR SURE.

SANDEEP KThe pickup and dropoff were easy to do, and the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The van was very low mileage and nearly new. It was fun and easy to drive! The location was a gas station, which made refueling easy.

There was straight forward instructions as to when we needed to return the truck, to make sure to leave the gas at the same level, and take pictures if we wanted to. Highly reccomend the 16$ insurance, even though we didn't use it gave us the peace of mind for the what if situations. Thanks for all the assistance during our move!
Jordan DI guess the only thing is you are at the mercy of the person working when you bring the truck back for instance as the gas/convenience store attendant is working in the store and might not always have the time to come check the return over so you have to trust it will all work out like mine did but sure this could lead to some discrepancy with people receiving their invoice later that something was wrong or off instead of finding that out right away when its returned so it doesn't turn into a potential nightmare if there's a disagreement
Stephen aOver charged me. Had the mileage completely wrong. I took photos of the mileage at pickup and drop off, and they weren’t even close. Overcharged my mileage by over 10 miles. Refused to check the mileage with me in person when I asked. I now have a dispute with uhaul to amend their mistake. Also didn’t have the correct equipment for me. Would not recommend, but if you do, make sure you take photos of your mileage as they will overcharge you, protect yourself as they will try to gouge you.
Connor TTrucks are kinda old and left behind by technology.
Jerick ENo one came to check the truck or show me anything while picking up, nobody came to check when I left the truck. I get a bill and I’m charged 25 $ cleaning fee. I returned the truck the way it was. If I had known that I’d be charged cleaning fee regardless then I wouldn’t have spent half hour cleaning it. Would not recommend u-haul because of sloppy service.

James WWe had a one hour delay for pickup. One hour delay for drop off. One our extension for drop off area. One hour issue with customer support. If there was another service I will use that in the future. We lost 4+ hours of our day directly because of poor customer support.
SHAS LKeep truck cabin clean
ARISTIDES CGas tank was completely empty when picked up, isn't there supposed to be at least 1/4 tank? We went a total of 8 km, had the truck back within 90 minutes and the rental cost $80...on top of the $$ I had to put in!! That's ridiculous!

Matthew BIf you are going to rent trucks you should go out to the trucks to check fuel levels. Being charged for 13 litres of fuel when I travelled a total of 27 km and put 7 litres in myself. Doesn’t add up.

fatma aI was really disappointed today when I saw the final bill... There are two charges of $30 fuel service fee and $17.49 fuel charge 8l fee!! I have proof of taking pictures before we started use of this vehicle and another picture was taken after returning this vehicle! We left more gas than we were supposed to! And we still get these two charges!!! Also, inside the cabin and cargo area this car was really dirty. I spent a long time talking to a clerk asking him to walk together to have a check fuel level and other things but he just refused and gave me a phone to talk to his boss... The boss said that I don't have to worry about any minor scratches and tried to explain to me how the calculation of my charge will be.. And we could not make a "self returning " because of the "web site issue". Now I am going to dispute these charges... Never will be back to this location!!!

Inside of vehicle immaculate. Best service I've experienced with U-Haul in Ridge Meadows area over more than 6 rentals.
KERN PThe issue isn't the location. The issue is the company doesn't seem to know where the facilities are. My booking email stated to pickup the truck at one place, I receive a phone call telling me to pick up the vehicle at another location and neither location was correct. Had I not been called by the pitt meadows location asking if I was coming to pickup the vehicle, I would not have found the location.

David PThe truck was worn and damaged. It smelled like someone has been smoking in it and there was trash strewn throughout the cabin. The truck looked as if it had hundreds of thousands of miles on it, but it only has 19k. The truck wasn't cleaned or checked before I rented it.

Ed RI went to my location to pick up my truck. It was not there and the business that was attached was closed on sundays (the day I was scheduled for pick up). Fortunately they redirected me to a new location to pick up the truck but didn't get any mileage discount

Monica CCube van had a very dirty floor on the drivers side and when I left the site, I suudenly realized that the passenger windshield wiper was missing. I went back into the Esso and told the agent, and he then found the one the last renter had turned in. He then wanted me to reinstall it and when I declined, he closed up the station to come outside and help. He couldn’t figure it out, so I found out how it went on, but it was missing a piece, so was not quite tight in the holder. When I had on the wipers in the rain during my trip to the storage yard, the wiper came off, so I drove back to yhe Esso. He said to just run it because it was only plastic and the one on the drivers side was working. I wasn’t ok with that and asked if he had any zip-ties, which he did, so he gave me the 5 I asked for and I went outside and rigged it so it would work and not fall off, and all of this while it was raining, too! I don’t think I should have been charged for a full rental. In any case, I will try to avoid this location in the future.
Eckhard PThis was the easiest UHaul experience we have ever had. We moved last year and used the UHaul in Port Moody, and it was always somewhat of a nightmare. This was at the Esso in Pitt Meadows and the worker knew what he was doing and it was the easiest experience ever!

Gary CWhile booking I was told Trailer hitch would come along as I needed to pick up the motorcycle trailer from another location. When I picked up the truck they said they didn't have any and should check with trailer location. Trailer location said that didnt have any either, I will need to buy one from them So I am there with U-Haul truck picking up U-Haul trailer and have no hitch. So I had to buy as I would have waisted my time and effort. When called customer care one of the rep said she cannot do anything about it and was half asleep. I called again and The rep finally raised a dispute. Please don't sell false commitment. There are better ways to make money then ripping of customers. Contract no.-19193236 & 19193724

AvtarSingh SI reserved in Maple Ridge as per also my receipt, but when I pickup online, it redirected me to Pitt Meadows (21 minutes away from the original pickup address.) Upon my returning the vehicle, I accidentally closed the door with the keys inserted, vehicle lock and the site does not have another key to be able to open the door and I have to pay towing $81 to open the door.

Jonathan RChecking in online is cumbersome. This is the second time I rented from uhaul this month and both times I was charged for gas even though I put in more gas than what I started with!!!! This is a major rip off!!!!
Daniel MI was quoted $119 cdn for 200 km when I booked. when I got my receipt they only included 150 km and I was charged $50 more. the truck was dirty going out like it hadn't been washed in months. will definately be looking for a refund fast on this theft by conveinience. brutal
