The only change I would recommend is urge people to stick to their pickup time even if it is after business hours. My pickup was scheduled for 2pm but it was Sunday so I thought I could be a little late. I showed up a couple hours late and had to be on hold with customer service for an hour. The customer service lady was very nice but I just wish I would have read the fine print. Everything else was great!!

Staff is courteous and professional. Staff is willing to work with customer to allow the best rental experience. I will continue to use Pittingers for my UHaul needs. Great UHaul dealer. Thank you. Your after hour check in site DOES NOT WORK!!! I have tried to use the site twice in the last month and could not check my rental in. Good for me the drop off sites did not charge for checkin because they understand the site does not work. If you are offering an after hour check in website please make sure it works.

Our move was most enjoyable. I do however recommend that more 26 ft. vehicles are implemented at U-haul facililties It took several weeks to rent one. Closing for vacation at facilities impacts greatly during warmer months. Thank you for making our move smooth. Patricia Floyd

U-haul could hire more phone representatives for their 800 number. I had some questions that were never answered since I just couldn't hold the line any longer, and the online chat was similarly disappointing. This is not based on this location, as everything done on this location was excellent. Amazing customer service from the gentleman.

Nothing, this was one of the best uhaul locations we have been to. The truck was easy to find and return. The truck was clean and well maintained.

I made reservation with UHaul in Gettysburg but about hour and a half before time to pick up truck they called and stated they had no truck available! They then said a truck in Hanover was available. I took it because there was no choice. It gave me more miles to pay for and less time due to travel to Hanover to drop off. Also, day before tried to call the Gettysburg UHaul and phone rang and rang. I was only about a quarter mile away so stopped in. Girl at counter was sitting on her phone. If ever need truck again I will call another company.

I requested a truck 45 days prior to the date I was going to move. Two days before my move date they told me that the truck I requested was no longer available and there was nothing they could do about it. I was also told by the staff that they are constantly telling customers that they either don't have the truck they requested ready on the date requested, so this was not a unique occurrence. To their credit, the staff did explain that they try their best to help renters; however, this practice is not acceptable and there should be some kind of adjustment made to whatever corporate booking policy they are currently following.

Worst experience I have ever had. Truck had no blades in windshield wiper. Truck was totally out of line No AC none of the electrical components worked ( outlets to charge phone ) Wrong pickup and drop off locations Charged for a tow dolly which did not fit our vehicle. Found out the night before we were to leave causing my husband who is very debilitated to make the 16 hour drive in order to get our vehicle to our new location. STILL WAITING ON MY $209.00 REFUND. WIll not be using this business again. Our entire trip was one stressful situation after another and caused major hardships throughout our transfer. And the worst part was no one made any effort to show any kind of decent customer service. Continually received wrong address information for both pick up and drop off.

Have used them in the past with no issues and was always told if picked up on Saturday that we would not be charged an additional day if not returned first thing on Sunday morning since they are not open for business that day as long as it is returned in time to be available on Monday morning for customers. We were charged for an additional day anyway even though we did not even have the truck for another full day. We brought it back a couple hours after drop off like we always had done in the past.

All good. I actually decided I did not need the trailer and returned it to the rental location after using the Chat function on the website (Phone line was too long of a wait, Chat was pretty quick). The owner of the rental location actually called me on Sunday to make sure there was not an issue with the trailer. I explained what had happened.

due to a snow blizzard, our truck rental was switched from Cross Keys (New Oxford) to Hanover. Hanover did not have the moving pads/blankets that we had requested - and it would have been good if they could have contacted another location to locate blankets for us. we had to do it on our own - we could not have moved without protecting our furniture. The people at Cross Keys (Joyce Robinson) went above and beyond duty to help provide us with the pads and came in to work even when the location was closed due to the blizzard.
