They were not open when we dropped the truck off.
Austin STell them how to cover up that economy gauge! Talk about annoying! I know that I am not getting the best fuel economy especially on hilly roads and in heavy traffic areas.
STEVEN NThe truck had a bad battery. I was stuck for 2 hours waiting for roadside to show up causing me not to have enough time to move everything i needed moved. I paid over $80 for this rental and wasn't even able to complete our move because the vehicle wasn't properly maintained.
ANNA HI had reserved a furniture dolly. During the pick up process, I was told they did not have one available. We REALLY needed the dolly. I panicked and rented a hand cart knowing it probably was not going to work. I was right - it did us no good for the three pieces we were going to use the dolly to move.

BENBIN LThe U-Haul service at this location is very confusing for a first-timer. The reference photos for the key lockboxes or the key drop-off do not look like the photos. I spent several minutes trying to find the orange box to leave the key in, only to realize there's a small (covered) hole in the bottom of the garage door that you're supposed to push the key through. It also isn't very clear where you should park the U-Haul when you return it. Overall, not the worst experience, but it isn't very clear on your first visit.

TONYA GThe truck had one new tire and 3 very worn tires. I was told that the tire sensor system just needed to be reset but could not be done and therefore the warning light and message would be on the whole 500 mile trip. I asked for another similar truck but was told those were only for local trips. I called national number and asked how I was supposed to know if any of the tires had issues if the warning light and system was not reset. U-Haul sent a mechanic out to our house where truck was at to reset the system. Turns out a part was needed and this was all replaced outside our house. This all delayed our trip by an hour. Please do not give out trucks that have mechanical issues!

BRUCE EPittinger's needs to better monitor the fuel level of their trucks. I was told to bring the truck back with a full tank of gas. According to the odometer, I drove the truck 47 miles. It took 10.9 gallons of gas to refill the tank. Something doesn't quite add up.

WAYNE BNot try to scam people after they leave I paid for the rental and put gas before returning and I’m still getting charges on my card after I took the car back and I was told I’m all good to go and left now I’m getting charged for $20 for something witch isn’t right and needs to be figured out because I’m not paying your just trying to get more money from someone it’s sad not cool I told him I have a 8month old son and it was just me trying to move my things

Pamela DThe location was good and while the rep wasn't overtly friendly, he wasn't rude either. He could have had a more accommodating and appreciative demeanor. The truck seemed to be ok at first, but once I was on roads that took me to 30+ mpg I noticed some issues. First of all the "Best M.P.G." gauge was useless. It never got close to being in the green area even when I was drifting down a steep road without my foot on the accelerator. The engine seemed to constantly be revving at a high idle, which made fuel economy impossible. There was an issue with the driver side door seal so the sounds of wind was incredibly loud and extremely annoying...especially when traveling 400+ miles for the day. Overall I give the truck a D rating at best. For my next rental I would certainly consider using another service since this experience with UHaul was not as good as I expected.
