The left brake light was out and the truck smell like gasoline. The smell was awful and unbearable. It needs to fix asap!
IESHA WThe truck I rented had a gun left in the glove compartment which I did not know of until I drove to my destination. On my way back a few hours after, I called the police to report. Once the police were there I notified the location I was back and shared the occurrence. I had this vehicle in my possession for a few hours, this location invoiced me for a full day. I should have been refunded the original fee to cover this unpleasant experience. Instead, I know have to deal with the dispute.

Danuel SNo customer service assistance in connecting the trailer to the truck as there was only one person working the gas station. The trailer was parked in a wet grassy marsh like area off of the paved parking lot.
JEROME SLocation is convenient however the truck was not checked the rear door was freeze shut I had to return to get it to work. The staff did try to help right away but took more time out of my day due to this issue. Truck was also pretty dirty in the cabin and cargo area.

CHAD LTrucks are outdated and aren't cleaned. I rented a truck with a lock and fries still in there. Please be mindful of the gas levels because they will try to overcharge you. Please take picutres if you do decide to rent. They tried to charge me $4.25 per gallon for gas. Thankfully that I had a receipt and pictures. Gas was only $3.24. They have shady business practices and I would never rent from them again.

EDWARD BBecause this location is part of a gas station, the clerk always takes his customers buying stuff in the store first. We just have to wait there until he has time to process our order. Not good when we have paid staff waiting to just rent the truck and get to our clients property. We’ll use western landscape down the street whenever possible.

chris hI can't complaint about the location, but I'm really MAD about the extra milege charges when CLEARLY I tried to rent from the town we actually were moving from and YOU GUYS changed it. And then the first place tried to give us a truck with a check engine light on, and the second place, albeit they went above and beyond to help us, was FARTHER AWAY from Macomb, Illinoi, so I do not believe an extra $84 in charges was due to my fault. It was all UHAUL'S fault!
Lori SIt was a gas station/Dunkin’ Donuts/U haul so the person who took care of me was wearing a FEW hats. He was very good at juggling two jobs though and got me checked in and in the vehicle in a reasonable amount of time. Very courteous and friendly and the truck was immaculate.
HEATHER LThe past 2 times we have been forced to use this location the service has been terrible. There is only one employee on site and he is busy running his gas station and completely unavailable for customer support or access. Do NOT reccommend.
lori hI would rate the stars higher, but I am baffled as to how the clerk can demand to have my driver's license in his own hands and yet still NOT get my name accurately into U-Haul records. Now I am continuing to receive marketing messages from U-Haul addressed to a person that does not exist. I guess we'll see if anyone at U-Haul actually reads this message to actually care about the situation to fix it or not. THAT aspect is the real deciding factor of whether to return to U-Haul or recommend to others. Other companies have similar rates so going somewhere else will be easy.
scott mThe dolly was parking in the middle of the exiting to the gas station, not in a safe place to connect. When I return it to the same place. They said that they would charge me more if you leave it there.
Dhiya AThe workers were fine. The truck itself could have gotten me killed. The mirrors closed in against the truck while I was driving, and I had to change lanes on the HWY with no vision of either side of the truck. It was harrowing. The driver’s side door also didn’t close all the way because it had been crashed into prior to my use of it.

George PThe process to get the truck was difficult. I had to do it twice. Car also seem not be be working properly. There was a sound and it was hard for the truck to drive. When putting the gas pedal, it seems to make a weird noise as if it was being forced.

DAVE OI stopped by the night before to inquire about the rentals. They failed to inform me that the reservations are made online. The next morning they didn’t have the vehicle I needed and I had to upgrade to a bigger vehicle. The parking location is hard to back into and it was full of mud. My sneakers were extremely muddy.

Michael BI would prefer to use a dedicated U-haul location, as this location did not have all the equipment I rented. In addition, the gas station attendant had to handle other walk-in customers during the process which made things take longer. Between these two issues, I spent about 60 minutes in the gas station before I was ready to go.
Derek PI was billed for fuel yet I took a photo of the gas gauge when I picked it up, I fueled up upon return as this location is a gas station, and took a photo of the gauge after the fill up. The clerk acknowledged the error but could but could not correct it as someone had logged the wrong gas level on the previous check out. The receipt shows I was also charged for cleanup yet I broom swept the interior of the truck before returning. I used the vehicle locally for 2 hours. Please issue a credit or lose a customer for life.

Eric MThere was an issue processing the drop off a one-way rental. The Uhaul app did not reflect the correct time/date I dropped the truck off. Omar verified everything and took care of things on his end in order to get close the account. I appreciate your professionalism!

David PThe location gave me the truck with little past half tank of gas when I asked if I would be charged for gas if I fill it with the same when I return it he told me no your good but it took all my deposit for gas fill up. He also said I could change reservation if needed so when I called to extend for 30 mins location was closed and I got charged so I messaged uhaul customer service the lady was kind and told I would be charged for another day and so now I’m waiting to see if I’m going to get my full refund back.
Sierra HPicked it up didn't give a recipient. Opted out of the safe coverage charged me for it anyway without knowing. Where I dropped it off no recipient again and didn't check it in till hours after dropped off so was charged another day fee us safe move. Have rented 3 uhauls in the last month and this is the worst experience yet!!
Melinda DOmar the csr was extremely helpful.........when I reserved the truck with Sara at an actual U-Haul location they didn't explain that I would have to do everything online literally. So Omar the csr helped me and I was extremely grateful for that help...

Chloe TUneducated about the U-Haul computer system. Waited over an hour trying to pick up truck that I had reserved. They need more than 1 person, because it’s a gas station and they don’t have time to stop what they’re doing to wait on U-Haul customers.
Gary SIt took over an hour to pick up the truck. The app didn’t work. I used the website on my phone, and when I got to the key step the vendor a) couldn’t figure out how to get me the key without starting the process order on his side and b) spent more time handling other things than addressing my pickup. The truck’s odometer had a different mileage than the website showed, and I couldn’t change the mileage or fuel level without getting an error. The whole process was a hot mess. I won’t be using U-Haul other than at a corporate location ever again.
