The UHaul that was located on Olive relocated to Bell. Their address has not been updated in your system, therefore nobody can rent from them. We knew this was not the proper address and put it in the notes section on the original rental agreement and it was not recognized or responded to. We went to the old Olive location and was told no now we need to go further over to the east, and after traveling several miles, we found out that your app had not been configured for us to use the neighborhood drop off type UHaul. We were told there were no 415 foot trucks available, so we would be upgraded to a 20 foot truck. This may be true with the locations that only have three trucks for the neighborhood share UHaul, but only eighth of a mile from our house is a huge UHaul on Bell that we wanted to pick the truck up from and on that day they had over 40 vehicles in their lot. Availability of every size. As it is, it took 3 1/2 hours at the neighborhood pick up dealing with customer service from UHaul to enable the app and let me get a vehicle. This is an acceptable because the problem was identified early on by us and your people didn’t read the notes nor respond to them.

If you have to transfer a person to another location make sure that all the items that were on the og order go with the transfer! Then to be told by your call center that any location can fill your order is not actually true. The manager at your uhal store refused to fill my order until I returned /cancel my order that was placed online and place a new one with him due to him not wanting to mess with his"inventory". All because my og truck rental needed to be transferred to a different location due to the one I chose not having it. Not only did I have to fight an hr with this manager to get my items. My truck was empty. 35miles left to empty. I will never use uhal again.
Melissa JI’m reaching out because my recent rental experience was extremely frustrating and far below expectations. The location I originally reserved my truck at did not have a truck available, so I was sent to a different location. When I arrived there, I ended up waiting almost an hour because of issues on their end. It was not a simple or smooth process at all. When I finally got the truck home to start moving, I discovered that the dolly I paid for was not included. I then had to drive to three different locations just to get the equipment I had already paid for. This entire experience caused major delays and unnecessary stress. I would not wish this experience on anyone, and I truly feel I deserve some compensation or a partial refund for the inconvenience, lost time, and additional driving I had to do. Rebecca BThe truck was not at the location that I chose originally. I was told the truck would be ready by 9 o’clock when I got there I was so they don’t even open till 10 o’clock. The truck was not cleaned out after the last customer. I had to stop and put gas in the vehicle before I could drive it to my location because it was almost on empty. There was less than 30 miles before it ran out. I would have to be desperate to rent from U-Haul again.
