MISTER DWe arrived at this location at 9am for our appointment which was changed from 8 am by the location. The store was not open we waited around 9:30 and called customer service to see if someone will be coming soon to open for our appointment. The owner gets there at 10am with a story that he was in an accident. We ignored his lateness and pressed on. Upon bringing the truck back. He tries to charge me extra when asked what was my extra charges were. He said I was late picking up the unit and bringing it back. I was taken back because I had to call the cs line to see if he was coming to open his store. I reserved the truck for 8 hours and brought it back at exactly that time. I had no problem paying for extra such as gas. But I’m not going to be scammed out my money for his horrible service. I’ll never use this location ever again.

FRANK WFirst of all. I was supposed to have the U-haul for 7AM.And I didn't end up getting the u haul until eleven thirty because they wasn't open until 11am. They really set me back with my time schedule. The truck was dirty as shit. I would not recommend this. U-haul location to anyone.

Tracey PEither the owner or Uhaul Corporate added the trip insurance to my rental when I expressly declined when I checked in online. Then, when I noticed the overcharge, I contacted Uhaul and was told that they would submit a complaint to the manager who would make the ultimate decision, but they could not take off the charge since I just picked up the trailer. Not a happy camper at this point.
William WI rented the U-Haul and it was 24 miles to empty. Then I ordered an appliance dolly with my u haul but didn’t receive them. I told him i wanted only 20 miles and he charged me for 50 mile.

Nikiesha hI had to call customer support three times. I ordered an Appliance Dolly. Although the location charged me for the dolly after I returned the vehicle, the location did not have an appliance dolly. I had to go to the U-HAUL main location in Baton Rouge to get a dolly. Also, the location charge me $15 for safe move after I specifically declined it when I made the reservation online.
DURWARD CI downloaded the app and did all that was needed to quickly check-in, only to get a message that some equipment wasn’t ready to come inside. The service was horrible, upon entering I was told to wait a minute to get helped. After almost 5 minutes someone came out but instead of assisting me even though I was there first he took a lady getting money orders, he then proceeded to count money and prepare for a bank run despite me stating I had been waiting and had somewhere to be by a certain time, hence the reservation and pre-check. He ignored me and proceeded to do other things. He finally got to me and told me I would have to provide the same information I already put into the system. He was banging the keyboard like it was broken, and on his phone stating he was waiting on the truck to clear, after getting two contacts and a picture of my license he gave me the keys. I asked which truck and he rudely stated, the truck is marked as the keys! I went outside and found the truck, luckily there were only a few! I returned the truck and he comes to do an inspection, but charges me for fuel. When I stated to him that I put fuel in the tank and it was on 1/2 tank, he said prove it! Did you take a picture?? I stated I didn’t know I needed proof of that, and he proceeded to tell me the truck was on 5/8 according to the last record and it wasn’t enough gas. I wasn’t going to argue and told him that’s not accurate but I would contact someone! I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional and uncomfortable before! I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone!

Abd-El-Monsif AI never in my life rented a U-Haul and only had 6 hours minimum of time I rented several U-Hauls before and I always have them for 24 hours they charge me additional $20 for 30 minutes

IMAD SThe place that originally had my reservation knew that the check engine light was on, and the guy told me that he noticed it the night before when he checked the unit in. Called roadside assistance and the lady told me that the engine light being on was normal. At this point I lost it. I told the lady that she was talking to a professional technician of 25 years and in fact it wasn't normal for the check engine light to be on! Then explained that the check engine light being on means that there is a problem with the engine. At this point I'm beyond pissed off and told her that I needed a different truck. Instead of finding me another truck, she stated that she would find someone to come out and fix it or they would t tell her that I needed another truck. By this time I've been at the location for 2 hours. I called customer service and they put me thru to reservations and they found me another truck at a different location. Got to the new location to pick up the truck, but they didn't have the appliance dolly. They told me to go to the airline hwy U-Haul location to pick up the dolly. Went to the Airline Hwy U-Haul location, and they said that they didn't have one. I asked the girl to look up another location That has one available. She backed up, rolled her eyes and said no she wouldn't, and that's when the other older woman said in a very sarcastic, demeaning tone of voice said that in fact they weren't going to look it up, and then told me that I needed to call customer service again. The Airline Hwy location needs to learn what customer service is, and how to talk to people, at this point I'm 4 hours behind and said "Fuck it" at that point the older black women said "Right back at yah". So I called customer service and the guy asked me to call back in 15mins. because the system went down. I am very disappointed in the whole process. Oh btw, I rented an appliance dolly from home depot when I got to Alexandria. That was 33 extra dollars. I would like to speak to someone about the whole experience. I am very disappointed, and unsatisfied with the whole experience. My contact information is 318-592-0295.

JULIA RPick location advise that I could drop off my choice. That was wrong information. When I called I was assigned a location I had to change to closer location.

CHARLES GThe service was terrible. They allowed the truck to be rented for 7 am but wasn’t even at the location at the time. Then they double charged us. It was just a fiasco and they blame the whole thing. They opened at 9 and when we got the truck they gave us a limited time and rushed us.
Chole FI reserved the 24/7 pickup option for 7:30a. The location appaently did not offer this option. The store did not open until after 9a. I lost nearly 3 hours of moving time by the time I got the UHaul.

Joseph FThey stole my money over charged me even after I kept in contact with there representatives throughout the whole process from return to finish I never received a physical receipt from the place I never gave him my card he just took money of it I’ll never use uhaul again and I’m taking to social media and make sure no one ever uses this location again I’m also going to 2 on your side to have this location investigated because I know I’m not the only person he’s done this too

The stench of marijuana and the loitering of people obviously selling drugs or asking for money wasn’t what I would call a five star experience at ALL. This wasn’t the location I chose online nor was I able to pick up my moving truck at my prescheduled guaranteed time. Extremely dissatisfied
BRANDON KDo NOT go to this location. This truck was nasty from the start with stains and scratches and dents EVERYWHERE, and barely could drive over 60 mph without stalling out and trying to cut off. YET, they have the audacity to try and charge me a cleaning fee of 25+ dollars!! AND, they have misrepresented my deposit amount as well. DO NOT pay cash with these people, they will lie about how much you paid in a deposit...
MATTEE RCommunication they didn’t know what to say when turning the product in they didn’t tell us who was working for uhaul and the gas was expensive after not getting to our location at the right time we had no help unloading our load we had people ready for Sunday morning but the big delay caused us lose money and their time we had to pay for no service

CANDIAC OI think your Uhaul staff who is working at different locations should be trained to say “Hi I work with Uhaul” the return guy was very rude to me and I didn’t even know I’d he worked with you all or not.

TEDRYCK WPerson that checked me in told me that he had sent the receipt to my email. I am still waiting on my receipt, he told me an untruth. I tried to call the location back and got a recording telling me to leave my number and they would return my call. 24 hours later, still waiting on phone call. I know they were open Becky it is a grocery store. So, needless to say, I still have no receipt! I turned the truck in 24 hours before my return time. So, I am hope they didn’t let a friend use the truck to move and damage it. You can only imagine who will get blamed for the damage. Very dissatisfied with that location and will NEVER return to that location. I am going to need another 26 ft moving truck along with a trailer but will be searching other options. I hope this is helpful to Uhaul corporation.

LAMONICA BMade it to the location on time to pick up my rental, however it took 10 or minutes for the rep to assist me as he was busy selling a car to another customer and he was back & forward on the phone. When he finally came to my aid it was after my rental time which was his fault.
Alacia MGreat experience. I needed a bigger size truck and one was available so I asked could I get the bigger truck and I was able to get it. I’ve always frequented this location, but never knew they offered UHaul rentals. I’ll return and I’ll definitely recommend this location again. Thanks Plank Road Food Mart!!
