The truck appeared to be full. However, when I filled at our destination it took 15 gallons. When we got back to the location it only took 7 gallons. The same distance and half the amount to fill??????? No, I will not recommend this location.Kirk P.

The truck was a wreck. As clean as it could be, but old and broken a little everywhere. It gets the job done, so I don't regret anything and I would do it again, but I was surprised to get something that old and rusty as a customers.Laurent M.

Here are my problems/issues: 1. The van wasn't full of gas. It is extremely difficult to return the truck with the gas gage exactly exactly matching the original level. In my case it was originally between 3/4 and full. (Note that I only drove 10 miles). I filled the van the first time and though I was ok, but when I return the van it showed under the level by a small fraction. So, I took the van to a gas station a second time and just filled the tank. So... in the end U-Haul gets gas for free. 2. The truck was in very bad mechanical shape. a) It was very difficult to close both the passenger and driver doors. b) The drivers window would not roll up. I rolled it down once and then had to pull the window up and crank at the same time to get it to close. I was using the truck to move some furniture out of a storage locker where I had to access a gate key panel... and not being able to raise/lower the window made this a real bother. c) The trucks suspension must be shot. I've driven lots of van and this was by far the worst suspension I've ever experienced... and I wasn't moving a heavy load. The guy managing the rental process did a very good job; the van itself was just crap.Pete P.

The personnel at the Sammamish location were helpful and professional. However: 1) I was notified by U-Haul at the last minute on the day of picking up the vehicle that the location for pick-up was changed. 2) The problem was that U-haul did not send the vehicle reserved to the Issaquah Highlands Self-Storage location where I have my belongings. 3) Therefore, I was charged for mileage of an empty truck to drive to Issaquah Highlands Self-Store to pick up my belongings and delayed my being able to load by two hours! That meant I was only able to get one trip instead of the two trips as planned for the day.Roberta B.

The location is nice and good personnel. The only problem is late night return uhaul app didn't work. It asked to take pics, but after pressing a button nothing happened. It was a late night, I had to find a friend with another phone and install on his phone the mobile app. Then it worked. Sucks. I would never rent with uhaul againMaxim I.

I was able to reserve correctly a truck using uhaul.com. But, when I wert to the assigned office to pick up the truck, there was NONE. I have to call customer service and transfer to other location, spending money and time. If there is no truck available, please do NOT allow to reserve.Juan G.
Update your systems! I had a four day rental and the system showed two days. Two UHaul reps said it was a system glitch and that I had four days. However, on day 2, I received a call asking if I would be returning soon. He said the equipment was due back. Stressful experience added to a stressful 300 mile move!Sean L.

The survey limits responses. The truck was ok cleanliness wise, but could have used a sweeping out. The outside had some mud, which I didn't mind, but it was not clean like rental cars are. The person who checked us in was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The rental rate was very reasonable, but the U-haul near me didn't have the 15-foot truck we wanted to rent, so we had to go to the next town, increasing our mileage usage. I choose the after hours return. If I had known how horrible it would be, I wouldn't have done it. First, the software could not get my location. It took three times starting over. Then when it asked for photos to verify the mileage, fuel tank reading, parking location (even though I had already verified the location of the truck), parking space location, and photos of the truck to prove no damage had been done and whether the truck was clean or not, was a nightmare. After taking a photo, the U-haul return website disappeared. Finally, after about 45 minutes and many start overs, we finished the four step process.Cora A.

Redmond location on Saturday cancelled my booking 18024 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052. Stating that I am late more than hour. Despite completing online check-in. The inside of the cab was a bit dirty, but it was fine (I only noticed it because the last UHaul truck I rented from another facility last month was new and very clean). The truck was easy to handle and the location was easy to get out of. Yassir, the employee on duty, was super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I will rent from here again in a few weeks. The leasing agent was not clear in his communication. when he asked us what time we would return the truck, we said "probably by 3PM". He said the rate was the same for 24 hrs. So, we thought it didn't matter that much. What he didn't say was that if we didn't return it on time, we would have to pay for another day's rental. I was charged for fuel when I returned it with MORE fuel than It had when i rented it. Also had an earlier call saying I had not returned it because no one checked it in, they found the mistake and admired the error. These two are not a winning combination. Using the app to pick up gives the feeling that you might be charged for every little bit of unmarked damage to the truck even though we paid for the moving protection. There needs to be a way to exempt customers paying for the extra insurance from feeling they will be targeted and need to scan the truck and photograph everything.Kent A.
