ROBERT MIt was dark and rainy so I really couldn't tell much about the place. The woman I spoke with was a rock star as she returned my voicemail and sent me text photos of where to park the truck and trailer. Crazy how horrible the woman from VT that works for the company was and how amazing the woman at the drop off location was.

THOMAS AWhile the van cabin was clean, and the appearance of the box was clean along with the dolly and blankets we requested, there was a very strong order that smelled sort of like dead animal. I had to mop the floor as it was very sticky. It appears that there was dried liquid all over the floor of the box…and everywhere you stepped…your shoes stuck…and we would have tracked whatever it was into our home and then into our daughters new apartment. While mopping it improved the stickiness, the oder was nearly intolerable. I called U-Haul to inform them for the record so I would not be held liable for any $25 cleaning fee. This unfortunately put a big damper on excitement to the whole moving experience.

john sRented a 9-foot van that was in good working order, however the cargo area had a stench that smelled like beer and cigarettes. I believe this van had been brought from another location, so Pocono Boat House was not to blame for the stench.
Andrew Pshowed up with the wrong ball . had to buy a receiver and ball because thats all you had . it would be good if you could rent them also

Robert DHave the app allow access to Photos. We had to stay at the location for more than 30 minutes because there wasn’t good phone/internet service at the location, so it took an excessively long time to “return” the Uhaul in system.
FRANCIS LThe trailer was full of ice and snow. They had not cleaned it off. Couldn’t see the straps when I finally got it cleaned off where I was to pick up the car. The straps were worn and did not hold for an hour and an and a half drive we had to stop four times to re-tighten all the straps.
Zackery HKeep up on preventative maintenance. Oil changes etc. don't charge so much for returning vehicle with less gas.

Dennis MI chose the option to pick up the rental using truck share 24/7. For some reason, my order came up as picking it up in person. When I logged into the app, it stated that I was using the truck share 24/7 but didn’t give me instructions for picking it up or where to find the truck. The app also did not match the instructions that were online. This confused me and made me worry that it wasn’t going to be available. That would have been really bad considering everything that I had lined up to make the move happen. Besides that, Pocono Boat House was an awesome place to pick up my rental. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They were able to get me on the road in no time. I also really enjoyed the environment.
Paul SMake sure the vehicle is clean, it smelled like cigars and fish. Seat was not comfortable.
Daisy MWas charged for extra protection insurance when I had not chosen this option during my online reservation.

Robert Mit was supposed to be Jimmys the location I kept requesting and have used. the last agent at uhaul screwed up the entire order. I rented uhauls all month & never did I get the locations that I requested. the miles were longer. and the last bill was over $400 - it was the smallest truck that I ordered. something is not right. I wont recommend uhaul after the expenses that I have accumulated. maxed out my credit card had to utilize another one. the quote when I returned the last truck said $230 something - but my receipt & card have over $400 WHAT IS GOING ON? the last person I spoke with at uhaul didnt know what she was doing Ann. she kept being rude with me also, laughing at my accent, the words that I used, racist person

Tracy SThe text link process for returning the car didn't work (unable to locate me, despite trouble shooting). Then the key would not fit into the return box! By sheer luck, someone came by after hours while I was there, and said they knew about the problem too. The return box opening had been partially pried open already, but not enough. Unbelieveable. I won't be going back.
