Joyce LI live near here so when I needed to move my mom into memory care on short notice, I thought I'd give it a try. I was able to rent a cargo van with one day notice. Picked up and dropped off easily, equipment was clean and well maintained.

Jim B(Cab of truck had a bit of a dirty floor.) parked in a big puddle by driver’s door and another big puddle by key lockers, so my feet were wet through shoes and socks. Instructions weren’t clear to get key& no response from website chat and no one in office. Info wasn’t consistent. Highly aggravating!

NEELY MPeople were cordial and professional, but told me there were no drop-offs in the out-of-state locations we were traveling to. There in fact were. The on-location staff tried to help, but didn’t seem to have the right tools or training to do so. This makes it very time-consuming and frustrating for the customer trying to make plans.

Ryan PTruck dash indicator light showed 'Tow/Haul' mode. This could not be turned off, as it should, and was defective. This likely lowered my average mpg and probably wasted fuel and therefore, my money.

Tim HLady and Gentleman running this location were very nice and the equipment was clean and in well working order. Lots of things to rent from them i think they had the full gambit of trailers to pull i rented a 6 x12 footer. They also seemed to have all the trucks available to rent at times to first day i went they must have been slammed only had 2 trucks left when i rented the next day they had like 20 trucks. They check to make sure your lights and turn signals are working for the trailer before leaving very professional.

David MVehicle was clean but the ride was terrible. I've rented Uhauls many times and this vehicle was among the loudest I've had with very loose steering and poor springs. While the engine may work that's about the only good thing I can say about the vehicle.

I would choose this place again over others in the area because of them. Personnel: 5/5 stars However, there are a few issues that need addressed. One was the condition of equipment, specifically my rental truck. Upon my initial inspection, there were so many dings, dents, and scratches that I could not count them all. I took pictures for liability and record-keeping. There was also a crack in the bottom of the windshield at least 12 inches long. Scary. This is the 2nd time in the last 6 months for me that a U-haul truck has had this poor of a condition (other instance was a different location). U-haul needs to invest in new trucks, some of these are an accident just waiting to happen and need to be put out of commission. It's getting bad enough and consistent enough that in the future I won't be accepting these vehicles for use, or choosing another company with a fleet in better, safer condition. Vehicle condition: 1/5 stars Second was the poor visibility of this location during night-time hours. I left my car there during the move, and upon return after dark, lots for both truck and car were in complete darkness. Really a poor security condition when returning after dark. With too many crazy people out there, I felt quite uneasy during the whole return, both for personal safety and personal property safety. Additionally, the signage of the place has zero lighting as well. I passed the place twice looking for it in the dark on a 45-mph road. I don't expect the place to be lit up like Broadway, but some lighting is needed here simply for security's sake. The only saving grace was clear evidence of multiple cameras around. But again, cameras may capture incidents, but don't prevent them the way proper lighting does. Environment security: 2/5 stars

Roxanna FDriving the truck at night was difficult due to the headlights being out of alignment and the inside of the window very dirty. They told me the truck's fuel was 3/4 full when in fact it was just under 3/4 and I have a picture to prove it. I went 24 miles and filled up the truck with 15 dollars of gas before returning it which was more than 4 gallons which did place the fuel gauge at 3/4. They still charged me $8.50 for fuel claiming it was below 3/4 full which is not true. I highly recommend. renting from another U-Haul location.
Ron WThe interaction with primary staff was great and the paperwork process went smoothly. The issue I have was the vehicle provided was in very bad condition. It drove sideways or “dog legged” the whole trip causing it to lean and pull the time right constantly. It must have under gone maintenance or it was leaking oil horribly as the whole 2 day trip stunk constantly of burned oil. And the vehicle didn’t have a functioning AC. All it did was blow warm air. In July with 80+ degree weather this made the trip horrible and borderline unbearable. I don’t know if it is the current Staffs fault or Uhaul as a company for the condition of the Box truck so I can’t blame the staff directly. But the truck was the worst experience I’ve had with a Uhaul.
