I have rented one of the cargo vans at this location several times in the last few weeks, to pick up a few pieces of furniture I have purchased from Facebook marketplace. The manager at that location (I believe her name is Pam) is awesome to deal with, and the van was impeccable, practically brand new. We will rent from this location again and again.Bashir A.

I have rented from U-haul every time I have moved. Everytime there was a dolly in the truck. Tagged for when you are ready to use it. If you use it you pay for it. When moving that dolly was not in this truck. Which made our move more difficult than it should have been. Please put dolly's in your trucks. Other than that there is nothing you could do to be better. Amazing customer service. Good location and did I say amazing customer service?Benjamin C.

I did not like the online check in. I had already submitted my information with the on site office but had to resubmit it again with additional information. The process was to much. It needs to be streamlined since it requires a smartphone. An app that could be scanned, if all your information has already been submitted would be nice. Otherwise everything was great.Manette C.

Very friendly and helpful. It wasn't the fault of anyone at this location but I had a very stressful and scary pickup experience. I had been told by an employee at a full service location and someone I talked to via the 1-800-GO-U-HAUL number that either a 1-7/8" or 2" ball hitch would work for the trailer I was renting so I used the 1-7/8" I had and within a half mile of leaving the pickup location the trailer fell off the hitch and jerked around the road catching on the chains in a high traffic area. The couple that run this location were very apologetic and immediately on the phone trying to find me a different trailer but were assured that that one had been serviced just prior to my use and that the issue was the ball size and that they had reports of other issues and were no longer supporting 1-7/8". The couple gave me an unclaimed 2" ball someone had left on a different rental and I had a good experience from that point on. No one had informed them or anyone else employed with Uhaul that I've encountered about these know issues and it continues to be relayed that 1-7/8" is acceptable. The issue is known and not being adequately addressed. I don't know the reasons but it is dangerous and completely unacceptable.Amanda P.

The customer service employee behaved as if customers would surely bring her cooties. It was a little over the top and there was not easy access to getting to her or to get help. The vehicle was damaged and the app wouldn't work. I gave up on trying to figure it out. Also our vehicle had a bloody towel in it and something splattered all over the ceiling. I don't think it's typical or acceptable for uHaul staff to repeatedly call and badger the customer â€œto confirm return timeâ€. I had a documented return time of Saturday at 8. I told them I would have it back by then at each of the 3 phone calls. I moved cross country, I don't appreciate repeatedly being pestered about returning a vehicle while I'm trying to unpack, ESPECIALLY when I have already confirmed with the location the vehicle would be returned on time. Not to mention the confusing return instructions and poor layout of the â€œparking lotâ€ for return vehicles. Giving directions using â€œlandmarksâ€ that move, like say, a blue trash can, is never a good idea. Please call your location by one name - one caller told me I was bringing it back to Lewis Center, another to Polaris. Just call it by the name on the contract, otherwise you're confusing customers, especially with repeated calls and different names.Hayley K.

Uhaul''s fleet of moving trucks is outdated. Driving on the highway the vehicle engine was sluggish and felt like it would breakdown. Seats are uncomfortable and bad for my back. Will try Penske or Enterprise next time.Daniel W.

The owner dog was loose and was jumping on customers including me. I am not a dog person so it was very uncomfortable for me to not get scared. Additionally, I am not sure why I was charged $8.00 for SafeTow. It was not listed in my reservation.Majid K.

Requested a few other optional items in the truck. Sadly, didn't notice they were not there until I got clear to my place to start loading. Had to drive all the way back and pick it up. Only response I got from them was 'sorry'. Didn't extend my time, offer to comp some portion of this rental. This ate into my time with the truck. The online Uhaul application is garbage. It's not user friendly, would default to values (like DOB or state issued ID) which were correct in my profile but would not pull correctly into the reservation. I spent ~30 minutes trying to rent a 4x8 trailer, which said was available online, only to be called and told one didn't exist in the entire Columbus area. So I was pushed into a 5x8 utility trailer. Upon arrival at the location, there were both 4x8 and 5x8 covered trailers and a utility. How hard is it to keep track of your assets? This is NOT a Polaris Self Storage problem, this is a Uhaul problem.Eric K.
