Called to make reservation. Was told reservation was made. Only took a phone #, name, what I wanted to reserve, & when I wanted to pick it up. Was told this was a very gas station, he was the only one working. Couldn't answer any questions due to having customers waiting. When we arrived to make our pick up two days later, was told we didn't have a reservation. Luckily, they did have what we needed on the lot. The store's computer kept crashing & having to be rebooted. There were 3 other people trying to pick up their rental at the same time. Still only one employee to take care of purchases & rentals. I ended up using my cell phone to go online, make a reservation, & pay for it. The store's computer was finally online long enough to get an item # for our rental. We left with it 1 1/2 hrs. after we stopped. Terrible experience.

They did not assist ln detaching trailer. I did all their work and i am 71 years old and had to lift a heavy trailer with my bad back.

Perhaps have a sign that notifies customers where the u-haul business is transacted. If the desk is closed there should be something saying it is closed. We were there to deliver a truck that was due back on Sunday and no one was available to receive the keys, no drop box and no one knew where the woman handling the desk after hours could be found.

Aaron was a great sales rep, but the overall experience with uhaul guaranteeing you $50, is a joke! I got there the truck I reserved was not available and ended up paying more for my whole move because of the inconvenience of waiting and paying my movers extra to wait

The staff was unprofessional uninformed didn't care about any customer service should not be on the end of receiving rental equipment they are clueless I spent over an hour trying to do a drop off end up having to work with staff member over the phone to figure it out this was ridiculous never again

Was told for us to put our trailer over there with the rest of them. Asked if someone would assist and was told no. I'm glad I had my husband to help otherwise I'd have to unhook the trailer alone.

They made me take the trailer off the van and i'm very fragile they didn't ask to see if I had health problems(fyi)I have heart problems, and they didn't have my deposit ready I had to come another day to collect my deposit so no I was not happy

This location was slightly better than the pick up location as it was an actual functioning business. However, the store clerk said he was also having internet problems and again, I was told I would need to unload my car from the dolly by myself because he did not have the time to help me with any of the equipment. Although I am obviously capable of such task, I feel that it was just poor customer service coming from men at both locations to expect a woman to load and unload a vehicle from a car dolly without any assistance.

I reserved a appliance dolly and 4 dozen pads. When I arrived there was no dolly and they only had 3 dozen pads but charged me for 4 dozen. And the pads weren't folded neatly.

Truck was swept out, but stank real bad. Biggest problem was that the cargo area was infested with roaches and I have pictures to back it up. Luckily I got the truck on Wednesday evening where I could put some bug bombs to treat it overnight. there was only one truck there , so I did not have the option to call and try to get another. everything else was ok on the truck. when I did mention the roaches to the manager when I dropped it off, he said that he did not have any control on that. When I opened the cargo doors at my house to see how I might plan to load the truck, was when I found the roaches running around inside. VERY DISAPPOINTED would be putting it lightly on how I felt when seeing all the roaches as we sure did not need that problem at my new house. contact me via my information when I rented the truck if you need more info.

I had a printed out confirmed reservation for a 26' truck in my hand. When I tried to check in on the app it had my reservation but said I didn't have a truck reserved to it and wouldn't let me go any further. It told us to call the number for the manager. We did 3 times and left messages with no reply. I chatted with a customer service person and she told me the same thing that no truck was reserved. I went in to use the restroom and the man had come in (not called us back!) and ask if I was the lady waiting on the Uhaul. Then he set us up an hour later getting out. Then when we got in the truck it said the water was low and we had to go back and put water in it so we could use the truck. Very disappointed. We were suppose to get started at 8:00 a.m. and didn't leave from there until almost 10:30 a.m.

The person in charge of this location was difficult from the beginning. He could not find my reservation and then was not very cooperative while filling out the paperwork. The car hauler had a strap that was so frayed I was worried it would break. When I asked about it he tried to switch it to another one he had which also had a damaged strap. The ratchet on the opposite side was so faulty I could not get it to work smooth enough to tighten the strap. I had little choice but to use my own straps I had brought as backup. The person running this place did not even bother to come out and verify hookup was done properly or be of service in any way. By the time I left I was thoroughly frustrated.

One guy was helpful when the trailer got stuck on the hitch. He struggled getting it off as well. The people at the counter mocked me for even checking in or asking for help. I would recommend dropping off at a place focused on uhaul rather than a gas station. They had also called the cops on a homeless man that wasn't harming anyone. Kinda rude.

If weather condition is bad, allow at least two additional hours ( at same day rate) on to time equipment is to be returned. No additional charge.

You need to find someone else in Marshall. Will never use again. Had to hookup the trailer myself. When I returned it had to unhook and then was told that I needed to bring the furniture pads inside. I told him they were in the trailer and left.

He's a nice guy, but I've been there three times, and twice I dealt with a trailers, he will not help taking it off or on the trailer hitch. I have a bad back and had do this myself with the large 6x12 trailers. I just can't recommend this place to people.

I had gone in to only rent a dolly. The store clerk was of Indian nationality and there was clearly a language barrier between us. He kept asking what year...what year...WHAT YEAR??!!! I had no idea what he was talking about. Then he started yelling about model and tow. When I repeated what he had said and tried to understand, he just became more hostile and YELLED at me that he "wasn't speaking another language." He would hit the counter and was visibly about to lose control. I finally tried to explain again that all I needed was to rent a dolly to move boxes, and it was then that he realized HE was calling a car towing rack a "dolly." The only reason that I hadn't already walked out was because this was the third uhaul in Marshall that I had gone to and was out of choices. Very disappointed. I was even a little hesitant to give him my debit card. Pretty scary experience. The wheels on the dolly were caked with mud which we had to clean before using in our new home. The drop off in Longview was delightful:)

This pick-up location in Marshall, TX is in a busy truck stop. The truck/equipment I rented was disgusting! Smelled of cigarettes and stale sweat. The inside was dirty. Steering wheel was sticky and left my hands dirty when I drove it the first time. I actually paid my 3-nephews and niece $5 each to clean the inside, because it was so nasty! When I turned it in here in NY the guy commented it smelled nice and that was only because I sprayed it daily with air freshener and has a "BIG" Little tree air freshener hanging from the steering column.

Make sure the truck is inspected before you leave the rental place.There was a scratch on the truck that was not put on the ticket prior to me renting this. Also, I wanted a 15 was told I would get a 20 ended up with a 26........I was scared to drive this big thing.

The trailer was not cleaned out completely before we borrowed it. We had to sweep it out and everything ourselves. Also, everything in the bottom of the trailer got wet when we drove through the rain. I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not. But, it was distressing because it was our king size mattress on the bottom that is mostly destroyed now. The people were friendly, but the locations to return were both very full.
