Get things together. I was told when I reserved the truck to pick up at one location. I received a call that morning to pick it up early because of the office closing early. I wentbto pick it up and wasctold to go to another location to pick it up. After we used it we cleaned it up and returned it. The lady checked it in and told us we were fine. Two days later I received a very irrate call from them saying we smoked in the truck(nobody smokes in my family), it was filthy, the furniture pads(which we never touched) were unfolded and they were missing the appliance dolly(the lady that checked it in removed it right in front of me). After we had turned it in I noticed discrepancies on the paperwork. They gave us the paperwork for another customer(I'm guessing the same one that had trashed the vehicle). Apparently we were switched trucks at pick-up and processed as such. I get it. Mistakes happen. But we were charged more than we should've been for mileage and the mistake was never fixed. Bottom line: it was a hassle. The truck was fine but the service was terrible.

The clerk was just not very nice. She was very rude and attitudeish. Another thing I did not It like was that they made you purchase the additional insurance for the trailer or you could not rent it. Only U haul I’ve been to that makes you.

The online registration was not as easy as I would have liked, including trying to figure out rates and how many days I would get and how the pick up and drop off would work. It will be easier next time, but the first time through could have been better.

Trailer was clean but pulling it was horrible. We normally pull a 4 place snowmobile trailer that we own when moving things but instead of emptying it we rented a trailer instead for this short move. The lady in the office was super friendly and helpful but I think I would rent a truck next time. Not sure why the trailer was pulling the truck all over the road. We were very careful loading it to make sure weight was distributed properly. I would rent again just not one of the enclosed trailers.

There was some water in the trailer when I picked it up (I told the girl and she thought it was from when the door was open) - I think there was a leak because when I dropped it off, there was more water in there.

There is NOTHING in contract about someone accidentally locking the key in truck. Let alone it was on your property. The front cab of truck ceiling looked like someone splashed something brown and was obviously NEVER cleaned or checked before rented out. Highly disgusting!! As well as not being honest about milage of the truck when returned! Your numbers are off. You can't do that. I pity this place. Because they only make their money by bullying their customers and lying, as well as not having adequate paperwork for their renters.

I put a reservation thru to pickup a 10' truck for 9:00am at 2701 howard st .port huron which was excepted, and when we showed up, they were closed 7/5, went to yeager st and had to take a 15' truck, was not given any type of break for time wasted and higher cost.

We have rented vans from this location close to 10-15 Times over the last six months, spending somewhere between $1000-$1500 over that time. I have to say we have been extremely pleased every time we have had to use one, and found the owners/ employees to be be great folks to work with. The truck was very nice.. Was happy that they had a 26ft truck available. My only issue was that i initially thought we would need the truck for 2 day.. Was quoted 129 dollars. However i was able to get the move done in 1 day.. Returned the truck.. Called in the a.m. told the lady i was able to get done in one day instead and she said i would only get charged for one day instead of two.. However when the money came out of my account i was still charged for two days at the 129 dollar quote. Only drove truck 8 miles total and put more gas in it than it had when i picked it up.. Havent been able to reach anyone on the phone but plan on stopping in there monday morning to inquire as to why i was still charged for two days when i was told id only be charged for one day..

I'd like to acknowledge Jenna Morse the District Manager at Lake Huron Self Storage. She was outstanding in every way and provided me with world class customer service. She intuitively gauged my stress levels as I was somewhat overloaded due to the moving experience in general. She eased me through the process and problem solved through several key areas, like truck size and duration of use. My move was a success solely because her expert input. She deserves to be acknowledged by your organization for her dedication and commitment toward helping others achieve their goals in the most efficient and stress-free way possible. This location customer service was more than excellent. I had a difficult moving situation and Stephanie made it so much easier with excellent knowledge of what she was doing and what I needed, with a professionally friendly demeanor. The website entry form needs improvement. I wanted to pick up the boxes from the store and it only had a shipping option.

I will use this location when I need to rent a moving truck, and only this location. I have had a bad experience with another location. This truck was rented out clean, with a full tank of gas, a moving dolly, and in good working order. Overall, a very good location to do business with.

Over the course of 3 days I was on the phone a Collective 2 hours + trying to straighten out scheduling, pick up time, and drop off location, which would change several times from what they told me on the phone, and what I received any either voicemail, a text, or an email contract. Then I was told you I was already taken care of and paid for it because I had already given them my credit card information over the phone, when I got there, it wasn't. Not only that but I was also charged more than they told me the total would be on the phone. I will probably never use Yeager Street U-Haul again.
