I have two issues, one with this location, and one with U-Haul in general. First, I went to another location and the truck I was scheduled to pick up wasn’t even there and then had to call to find another store that had the truck I needed. After coming to the next store to pick up the truck, they were closed and I had to do an online check in, which is fine, other than the fact that I didn’t get any of the additional equipment I had reserved and then had to go out and buy a hand dolly. Now my issue with this truck/location is that the truck itself absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke and the truck needed a front end alignment so bad that the steering wheel had to be steered to the right just to get it to drive straight, which was made worse when you hit a bump to the point it was sketchy.
Jason TDealer had bad attitude . Even said that he doesn't care about U-Haul. And with me being a former AFM, I wouldn't want my Dealer saying that to a customer.
Joseph KRemove them from your dealers all they do is lie and shift blame onto Uhal. They didn’t even help me in anyway I had to ask for my contact. Thankfully I was taking to another agent on the phone to tell me what to do.
JESSE PThe truck rental experience overall was great. The only issue I have is that I was over charged 6 miles. I took a picture of the miles when I rented the truck and another picture when I took the truck back for return. The mileage was 24504.6 when I rented the truck and the mileage was 24545.4 when I returned the truck. The difference is 40.8 miles used and I was charged for 46 miles used.
PHILIP HI had two 20 foot trucks that were driven from Holland to Gary. Both trucks were refueled with the exact same amount. The truck returned to ACE in Gary was reviewed by a person at the location and gas levels were acceptable. Portage was busy selling cars, so I had to turn my keys into the box. At Portage I was charged for gas. This is just skimming and I would not recommend this location.
AMY SThe individual lied and charged me for a second day. I retuned the truck a day early and was charged for being late on the following day by :25 mins. I’m likely done using uhaul as a service. Going to Penske or enterprise. This is the second time happening. You have lost my business.
Clayton FI returned equipment on Saturday 1/25. U-Haul contacted me on Monday 1/27 saying I hadn’t returned equipment then charged me for not leaving fuel where at a quarter tank even tho I did.
MICHAEL MBitches didn't give me my fucking $100 deposit back after dropping off the truck with NO issues

JOHN FPlease have U-Haul key signs and more specific signs pointing to where to leave trucks and drop keys. It was hard and difficult to tell. Gates were closed and we didn’t wanna trespass. Other than that it was just ok.
