My reservation was for the uhaul in Moreno Valley, NOT PERRIS. That cost me extra! Not happy! The people at the postal annex were nice, but of course they are not uhaul, that's why I reserved in moreno valley in case I needed an extra trailer.

jeanette rI was charged extra for gas and I have pictures of the gas gauge out and in which show I bought the truck back with the correct amount of gas in it. Also when at the counter the clerk held an on going telephone call as she helped me and then had the audacity to ask me to repeat information she didn’t get because of her laughter conversation on the phone. Very poor customer service. When returning the truck I waited in line patiently only to be told since I drove around back that he could not complete my transaction because now he has a line. How far is that? He should have completed my return of the truck, that way I would have been able to show him pictures of the gas gauge in and out. I want to be refunded for my gas charge. Shame on you UHaul if you do this to 100 people per month, you’ve made a nice chunk of unfair charges to poor people like me trying to live honestly. The last time I rented it was for a 24 hr period. This was not even 4 hours. We had to rush and felt so stressed renting from you. It sadddens me because I had actually reserved a Budget Rental Truck through AARP which was for 24hrs with mileage and gas which was in fact cheaper than your 4hr rental but my husband said let’s just use UHaul since we never used Budget. What a horrible mistake. Worst Rental Ever
REGINA BMake sure your vehicles are safe to travel. Safty should be made number one, and know that road side services do not fix wheel alignments. Be fare to your customers. Show that you care about your customers and their safety.
CLEA MThe customer service that I received was horrible. I went to the postal annex at 75 W Nuevo Rd Ste E Perris, CA 92571. First I got there to pay for my uhaul rental and the lady yells in front of everyone that my card declined twice even though I knew that I had money. I asked her if there was any other way for her to enter my information manually and she rudely told me that I had to redo my entire reservation. Mind you I had my puppy with me and it was HOT outside. I went to my car and redid the reservation and then when I went back in to try again they couldn’t find my reservation on the computer!! She made me redo the reservation again!!! She was so rude the entire time… rolling her eyes and all. Come to find out my card was declining because of something that she was doing wrong and never once did she apologize. My initial appointment was for 1:30pm and I didn’t leave with my rental until 3:30pm. It took her two hours to figure it out and she was still being rude to me. I never make complaints but that lady was really really rude.

Nancy RTried to access the truck via phone but for some reason I was able to reserve and pay for a truck without having an account. Spoke with the employee at Postal Annex and he didn't know how to help. Finally figured it out after about 40 mins of waiting in the store. Which put us behind, so we had to wait until the next day to move. While on the road the ABS light came on and being behind schedule I just drove slowly to our destination which took up more time and ultimately lead to us being 1.5 hours late on our drop off time. And ended up costing us $40 more.

Karla CThe truck I reserved and paid for in advance was not available at the pickup location I was told to go to. I was directed to a second location which did not have any dollies available (part of my reservation). I was also told that I would be given 15 miles extra because of the new pickup location being farther away. I expected at least a break on the rental cost for the inconvenience but instead received an additional charge at the drop off location. Terrible. We were on a tight schedule and moving itself is stressful, so the added inconvenience was very disappointing.
Mark LI got there to pick up the truck and the truck wasn't ready. They couldn't find my reservation, I waited for almost an hour before I got the truck. And to top it all off the a/c didnt work....never again will I rent there.

Clarice MThe uhaul app does not work. Look at the reviews in the app store. DO NOT USE THE APP TO PICK UP A TRUCK. So the issue is the app can not correctly handle launching the camera to take the pictures required to check the truck out and returning. And then sometimes it does take the picture and then it places you back at the start of the process where you need to take the pictures over again. It took me a half hour of retrying that app to get the truck fully checked out and another 45 of returning. Tried calling the 1-800 uhaul number and the wait times were 30+ minutes.
Joshua BHorrible experience! They had me drive to three different locations because the truck I had reserved was not on the location I was supposed to pick it up from and instead of apologize or try to fix the issue I was only told that it wasn't their problem. I had to drop off the truck to a location that was way far away from me where I had chosen a location that was 5 minutes away from point B. I had reserved the truck for 9 am and I did not get it until 3:30pm which made me change everything I had planned and run short on time.
Donaji CMy location and pick up time were changed which caused a huge inconvenience. I had to go 15 miles in another direction and the time was 2 1/2 hours later! Found out by checking on line the evening before as I was not notified. When I called to see what was going on the representative was not helpful and very uncaring. Made our move so stressful. Had to reschedule with help to load and unload the truck in San Diego. I have used UHaul many times in the past 40 years but not certain if I will in the future.

David BFix the passenger side mirrors. Applying small locker sized mirrors with tape doesn’t help with all the bouncing while driving. Definitely a driving hazard. The employees at the postal annex were nice and helpful, but the customer service over the phone did not help after I had called 3 times trying to get a code for the lock box, when I didn’t need it in the first place because the store was still open. The postal annex closes at 7pm and the customer service rep accused me of being late to pick up my truck and said I was there after 5 when in fact I had gotten there at 4:25 when my pickup was scheduled for 4:30. Rep on the phone said he has that location to close at 5 according to his records. I had paid for a utility dolly that was not in the truck, but I was reimbursed, just made my night a little harder moving the large items I needed it for. Thankfully the trucks are in the same parking lot as a gas station because when I picked up the truck it was on empty. I was given a “gas credit” and the store rep said to return it the same way and it would be fine, but then that credit was taken off the final bill. My overall experience was horrible reserving a truck online and completing the check in to help “save time”, when in fact I was there for over an hour, but again the girl inside the store was nice and helped me out in the long run.

veronica cThey were trying to over charges for mileage or gas I should say we went approximately 12 miles round trip and they were trying to say we used a quarter of a tank of gas over them out that was specified on the contract; the miles themselves should have told the story that they're gauge just had to be off but, instead we received nothing but attitude. Horrible customer service and will never use them again nor will I recommend anyone go to their facility

vincent vDrove all of maybe 3 miles but tripometer made it as if it were 6. Not a huge deal but seeing as I'm charged for every mile I don't like the idea of it being out in as more miles than I actually travelled. Also feel that a grace period should be allowed if contracts if at least 20-30 minutes given last minute problems. Rental car agencies give you at least 39 minutes to an hour of a grace period before trying to charge you for an entire day. Appreciative that the manager agreed to change it so that my rental only lasted 2 days

vincent vI was an hour late, the girl at the counter couldn't close my contract so I got no official confirmation of my return. Just a handwritten note, better than nothing, I guess she did what she could. I also asked if the girl who would close in the morning could call prior to closing, and received no call. I know there were two rates 24 hour and 10 hour and wanted to ask if I had to pay full day rate for hour late return. My issue isn't me paying the extra it's the fact that I asked for a call as got nothing.
