Very satisfied. Was able to just show up and get a rental. Returned the same day with no hassle.
SCOTT GI originally called uhaul for a rental to be picked up in Spencer TN. I drove 50 miles to get the truck so I could save $ by not driving an empty uhaul there since that was were I was loading my furniture. However when I got to the pick up location on hwy 111 in Spencer I was informed they were no longer associated with uhaul and would not be renting me a truck. After much time and fussing with uhaul I turned around a drive back to Cookeville to Mr. Postons uhaul where he took care of getting me the truck I needed. Meanwhile, uhaul representative were suppose to call me this past Monday to get my issue resolved and issue a credit but have not done so at this time, four days after I was to be called Not One Uhaul rep that said they would call me has. The initial offer was a 50 dollar credit and then Monday someone would get with me about some compensation for the 100 miles and 3 extra hours of labor I paid for movers bc there were no uhauls available in Spencer and I had to drive back to Cookeville unnecessarily. All uhaul employees should take lessons from Mr. Postons and conduct business as he does. It would be a better place to do business.

SHARON MI got charged for two days. When I picked up the trailer at 11 am I asked the employee when I was to return it, he replied 4:30. That wasn’t enough time so I asked four times in a ten minute period if that could be extended with no response (either the music he was playing was too loud or he was frustrated with computer issues) when hooking it up I asked a fifth time and he said he extended it. I have dropped trailers off after hours and never had an issue but when I dropped it off at 8pm the same day I got charged a second day. Even if they is the protocol, which would be ridiculous to be charged two days in a 9 hour period, the communication was poor and I was never given an explanation or a time it had to be back or I’d be charged. Very disappointed, will not be using U-Haul or this location again after being a repeat customer

DAVA MI will never rent from this location again. I told all my friends and family what happened. My moving partner became ill during our move and threw up for a couple hours with a stomach flu. This caused me to be late because I had to unload the entire trailer by myself. The employee called me and threatened to report me to the police and the vehicle as stolen when I was 1 hour late returning the trailer. This is the first time I have complained about your company in 35 years. 1 HOUR LATE AND YOUR EMPLOYEE IS THREATENING ME WITH A FELONY...never again!

JEFFERY BThe owner/attendant was not friendly or helpful. When picking up and dropping off he barely said two words and never really acknowledged me. When I dropped off he told me to put the trailer back into the place where I picked it up from. The problem is there were two 26’ moving trucks obstructing the area and a light pole w/a protective post. AFTER I backed in, he said, “you barely missed that pole”. I had my windows down and he never said a thing while I was backing up. If I had hit that pole, it would have not been good for him. I’ll never go back to this location.

JEFFREY WThe only issue I have is if customers already paying .99 a mile why pay for gas too? I was going 36 miles one way and bringing the truck back and not sure how but it's saying I went 106 miles which is crazy and now it's trying to charge my card a extra 183.00 on top of 103 I already paid. I filled it up and did as I was supposed too. I turned the truck in early and once it said this at self check in with the truck I didn't agree to charges and put just that . The charges needs to be more transparent instead of after the rental gets turned in . I am on a fixed income and to hit my card without my approval puts me In a bind I don't mind to pay in payments but if I would have know I wouldn't have rented it.

DONALD ATruck cab smelled awful! Too cold to roll window down so kind of stuck in the smell!! Also mileage was not calculated correctly so I was overcharged!!

JOHN WI called into this location because my GPS informed me that I would be 4 minutes late and I knew they closed at 4PM. So my arrival time was 3:49pm. He was extremely unkind on the phone and informed me that they walk out the door at 3:55 pm (Which is 5 minutes before they close for the day). He continued to be unkind on the phone and asked me what it was I needed the trailer for. That is honestly not any of his business. I was not happy with the customer service and would never rent from here again.
KRISTIN SI selected this return location because it was listed as the only site open Saturday afternoon. When I arrived at the location these was a paper sign on the door as closed all week. I tried to drop the truck off using in the app but it did not seem to work correctly. I called my pick up location and they were awesome. The talked me through the process and I was able to drop of the truck in the lot of Postons Automative. My thanks to the folks at the pick up site in Knoxville. They were polite and helpful.
Terry GHonestly there is not a single thing that I would suggest to change. This was the smoothest transaction ever and I was nervous about it because I had never rented a uhaul before. Mr. Poston is what made all the difference. He is just a friendly, helpful and great fella to deal with. I ended up renting an additional day and I'm a repeat customer who just reserved again with Postons Automotive uhaul location. Thanks so much, people make the experience!

Paul BPostons was the 2nd location I went to after my reservation was cancelled. I spoke with Store Smart in Cookeville TN and told them I was going to pick up the 15’ truck late and was told that was fine… got there and my reservation had been cancelled for no show and they gave away my 15’ truck. Ended up having to call customer service and make new reservation and ended up with a 20’ which was much bigger than we needed and larger than I wanted to drive. Movers were waiting on us to get started.

DANNY LI spent 60+ minutes on the phone trying to get the online pickup to work since there was no one at the facility due to hospitalization. We booked through a corporate account and the 24/7 line was unaware that there was a separate link to do a corporate booking under...once I called the corporate line and they told me the url, everything went smoothly.
Joe PI very much dislike not talking to a human. It took me multiple tries to pick up the rental. I finally got a human, on 1-800 line, to assist me in getting the pickup information in the system.
