This was a horrible experience. We reserved a tow dolly for Wednesday, May 29th and upon arriving at 2:30pm the location was closed and we were unable to pickup our dolly. We had to drive all the way back the following morning for the dolly and then we were charged extra mileage once we dropped the dolly back off in Tennessee. Will never recommend U-Haul to anyone.

The truck wasn’t cleaned when I got it we swept and used a blower in the back and I got charged a cleaning fee? It isn’t my fault the people before me left the cab trashed we blew out all the dust with a blower the “puke” looking substance in the floor wasnt getting touched by me or my family.

If i ever have to use a storage bldg again, this is where I'll go. The woman that runs the place is extremely nice and helpful. Never had any problems getting into the facility or while I was there. Its keypad entry and quiet.

My return was on a Saturday. The location was supposed to be open until noon. When I arrived at 11:15 AM, no one was there and the location was locked so I am not able to comment on whether it is clean and inviting or the personnel helpful.

You need someone on site who can lift/hook up the trailer or at the very least let the customer know there will be no help when you reserve online. The desk attendant actually looked at me and said “I hope you brought help”. This was a first for me. I had to muscle a 12’ enclosed trailer onto my hitch alone.

Facility was fine; I was able to pick up my equipment with no issue and I would recommend this facility. However, I was supposed to pick up my van in Montgomery, 70 miles away. The facility there confirmed my rental (on Air Base Blvd.) the day before. But when when I arrived (after flying into town), they said it wouldn't be available. No other trucks were available anywhere near Montgomery, so my wife and I had to drive 2.5 hours extra to pick up a truck. I will go with a 10' Penske truck next time, this wasn't worth the pain. Maybe next time for your next customer, don't confirm the reservation if you don't have a truck in-hand.

The manger is very friendly and helpful. My only issues with the facility are that I believe each customer should have their own access code. I had units there for seven years, and the gate code never changed other than the * or # prefix. That means numerous people who no longer had units there still had the gate code and could access the storage units any time. Also, they need more gravel because when I went to empty my unit after a heavy rain, I had to walk back and forth through standing water. Other than that, I had no problems in seven years of renting there.

The sweet lady that checked me in was so polite and very detailed. She was such a pleasant surprise after a HORRIBLE experience Tuesday morning at the location in Auburn on Shug Jordan. I give Premier Self Storage in Alexander City an exceptional rating!!!

Premier Storage is a very nice facility. Your facility fulfilled our need, for storage room, during our move across town. We were not able move directly from one location to another and that’s why we needed storage space. Because we downsized we may need a smaller space indefinitely and surly will be considering Premier for that need.

Have the vehicle that you ordered and don’t send to another location where no vehicle at all is available. Some people do not want a larger truck for the same price due to handling issues. The company’s tracking capability is laughable and is so inefficient. We will definitely go to Penske for our next move even though they are more expensive.

Better customers service and treat paying customers with the same respect and uphold all agreements with y’all customers my overall experience was horrible and I will never refer anyone to the location I picked up my uhaul at and when I called the hotline for uhaul they was rude aswell just very unprofessional

Well I think it would be hard to give a comment to improve anything. From the time I called and ask Ann about availability on a tow dolly till the time I arrived to do the paperwork to rent the equipment. She was outstanding and had the best customer service, she was friendly and I believe that she was well knowledgeable on the rental items. Also paperwork was not frustrating with her . She made that process good well and seemed to be quick . Customer service seems to not exist anymore now days . When I walked in and was greeted with Ann and spoke with her during the process I seen that there are still people in the crusty service industry that cares and treats customers well. I hope my next experiences with uhaul or any other business is as well As it was with Ann .

This location was closed through the holidays so I left the dolly at their front gate. I had no trouble with the dolly and it performed perfectly delivered it and all was good although no one was there at the location. Put it beside to other transport devices.

The location was fine but the uhaul had several problems that I was very disappointed with. Like the air didn't work and the brake light kept flashing and the window didn't roll down all the way and the gas gauge didn't work properly

I was called two days prior to my rental and was told I would have to drive 30 miles away to pick up my truck. I had made my reservation two months before.

I absolutely recommend using the Uhaul location at 4100 Dadeville Road in Alexander City. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I notified them that I was traveling a long distance and she made sure that I had the best trailer possible. Although, all the trailers were well kept. She also helped me hook-up and check my lights. Even though I am very capable of doing it on my own, it was nice to have the second set of eyes and hands. I rate the overall experience top notch and well above what I expected.

It was wonderful. The owner helped me get everything I needed. The truck was ready to go when I arrived. I was in and out without a problem. The truck was a truck. It was loaded and at times it didn't go very fast but it didn't need to. I was concerned about driving this truck 6 hours by myself but there wasn't a problem at all. It all went very smooth. I would definitely rent from U-Haul again.
