I had a verified reservation for a 26 ft U-Haul truck to do my move from one house to another. The distance between the two was 16 miles! I could have done the move in one truck load maybe at most two trips. I had the reservation for two days! When I went to pick up the 26 ft truck I the place I had called and made the reservation had no trucks! Sent me a block away to this dealer for a ten ft truck and when I go around back to look at the truck they have a 26 ft truck that has a reservation for pickup the next day. Even though I could show her on my phone that I had an email from U-Haul verifying my reservation for a 26 ft truck I could not get it. I already had paid people to help me move and had to have a truck so I took the 10 ft truck but it costs me many extra miles to move because of the many extra trips I had to make to do my move plus what I had to pay extra for my helps extra time! I’ve used until a couple times and was surprised to go through this but I may not use you again after this experience! Very stressful experience!

The lady behind the counter was very rude and not customer friendly. Would not recommend. The dolly had sticky residue on it, I had to wipe and clean it.

I parked in front of the building in an area I thought was out of the way but the ignorant prick at the tattoo shop parked me in and I had to call the police. Never again will I deal with U-Haul like this. Shame on them

Denise FI was originally supposed to pick up my truck from 3003 US Hwy 441 S, Douglas, GA 31535. I got there at my reserved time and talked to the woman at the front desk and she said there was no truck. I showed her my reservation number and what I was supposed to receive and she refused to help. I had to find another truck from another location. Not to mention that we were still charged for add ons such as dollys and hand trucks but did not receive them.

It was like we were a bother to her. We need excellent customer service here in Douglas. We have been to this store before so we are repeat customers. Very disappointed.

Mark MI rent from Uhaul fairly often This experience was good with the exception of the check-out/check-in process. I chose the check out/check in via the electronic option due to the convenience of picking up and dropping off early. I followed the link that was sent via text and when it pulled up, it showed that I didn't have a reservation. This delayed the pickup of the truck as well as the turn in also. When I went to pick up the truck, there was another party there at the pickup location that was experiencing the exact same thing, so not a "one-off" issue.
JAMES RAt issue is I was told gas was given to me at 7/8 full, I have a picture at pick-up which is slightly less than 3/4. I also stated that dashboard of truck stated that a $50 credit given if truck is swept clean and rental blankets etc. stored neatly. Instead I was charged $55.58 for excess gas charge.
Chris RPay attention to details... I ordered 2 hand truck and didn't receive them. The representative made note of it and when my bill was finalized I still wasn't credit my$14 plus tax. When I called at 1:30pm there still was a long hold time 30min. plus... I'm became upset again about my experience on Saturday morning with the self checkout. That's something that's not going to work for seniors who are smart phone or electronic illiterate. It's too many details and instructions it took over 20mins of assistance after my schedule time of 8am. And I started the process at 7:47am. In addition to me having to regained my composer and come down to drive.

Terry CThe vehicle tire pressure lighg came on, also the truck shook after you went over 50. I tried going the speed limit of 55 but couldn't because I feared a blow out. The line up was off and kept pulling to the left. Also the check engine light came on scaring me. I felt in danger in this vehicle and when I mentioned this to the representative at the counter, she said okay very nonchalantly. One, clean the vehicles, it was filthy. I had to sanitize the truck and the amount of dirt on that wipe was ridiculous. Two, service the vehicles because the one I had is in dire need of a tune up, line up, and clean up. Third, and final improvement could be on the attitudes of the representatives. The "I don't really want to be here but I'm here" attitude is always gonna run customers off. This place will never get my service again. I felt like I was a trash collector in that truck. This experience felt like Sanford and son and Daughter. Thank you but no thank you.

Thomas CHard location to find! Even when we called and asked if it was the red brick building, we were told “no” ...but it WAS the red brick building. One uhaul van parked in the back and only a small sign. Makes it difficult if you are driving a huge truck and are not familiar with the area! Otherwise, very helpful staff and all went well!

ray bThe people working there didnt have a clue what they were doing after about 45 minutes waiting for them take my payment they charged me more than the website had quoted at like 57 they charged me 75 dollars I couldn't find the length of the trailer on the trailer specs of the website anywhere and they couldn't tell me at the location either I reserved the trailer for 10 hours and I only had it in my possession 45 minutes to an hour because I went and got a tape measure to find out the length and turns out it was too short for what I was wanting to haul despite the website having me put in what I would be hauling and saying it would fit on the trailer it most certainly will not so long story short I rented a trailer for 75 that was supposed to be 57 and never used it because it was too short because no one knows the specs of the trailers length or width the length is 12'4" by the way
