Your app is too frustrating to use. I took my own pictures but I had to get out if my car, go back to the truck to take pictures again of the gas/mileage, the outside ofthe truck. I also took pictures all the way around before I took it off the lot. And the starting gas and mileage. And I took my own when I returned yet, but I have to waste more time taking them from your stupid app. If this location can't bother to have a live person on-site, please remove them from your service. I was encouraged to drop the equipment at another location and was told it was a small fee. It ended up being double the original charge. Ultimately it was $45 or so but it was still disappointing.Joshua C.

Using the 24/7 contact less pick up was a joke, and a failure. It made nothing simple, or fast. I will never use this service again if I needed to rent a vehicle. I was already running behind on the pick up of the truck due to UHaul moving my pick up location almost 25 miles away from where I originally had a pick up reservation. So using the 24/7 pick up, I thought this would have been a faster pick up option. Incorrect, the tech on the chat for whatever reason that they would not tell me, could not verify some information which required me to go into the pick up location, luckily they were open to verify the exact same information I submitted in the app! Ridiculous, unnecessary, and very inconvenient. The truck was dirty. The cab had dirt all over it, you can tell a drink had spilled down the passenger door, and people were clearly smoking in the Truck as there were ashes all over the passenger floorboards. The back cargo area of the truck was just nasty. The floor was covered in water, and some kind of oil products and was covered in debris. Before we could even use the truck, we had to sweep and mop the cargo area, which still left the floor slippery from whatever the oil was. We swept out the cab of the truck as well so we did not get charged for the cleaning. However, I took video and photos of the trucks condition before we even left the pick up locations lot. Truck in cargo bay was not swept. Truck was dirty on outside. Clerk was not real friendly. Asked for drivers license and credit card then went in back for ten minutes. Came out had me sign paperwork and handed me keys. No questions other than do I want insurance. I asked if everything was the same as original reservation and he inly said yes. When I got to drop of point had to call to get correct location because he set it up to be returned to original pick up point not where I specified in my original reservation. He was not rude but he did not go out of his way to help. Very little customer service skills.Jared W.

Chillicothe Location was very easy, clean & very easy and open to maneuver the truck around to get out. Since changed and decided to use the mobile pick up I didn't have help from the counter personally but the help of the gentlemen at the office in Chillicothe office was very much appreciated. Have blankets in bags so they stay cleaner. Also would want them to check the truck closer for damage and level on the fluids. Antifreeze was a little low and I had to have them place damage stickers on areas that were damaged before I received the truck.Travis M.

The lock that was suppose to be on the back of the truck was not like it was indicated in the picture and it took an hour to get everything figured out before we could even get the keys to the truck. Standing in 94 degree weather and delaying our moving day that included a three hour drive. I had picked this pick up location specifically because they were open Saturday and wanted to avoid all of these issues, but they closed and I was told the day before without being able to game plan an alternative situation. This facility did nothing wrong and was very courteous. I however have an issue with U-Haul. I reserved an auto transporter at my local U-Haul facililty and was only notified the day before that I would have to drive 20 miles to pick one up and then drive back to my residence to load the vehicle. This resulted in over an hour of driving and a lot of frustration on my behalf. What is the point of reserving at your local branch? I will think twice of using U-Haul again when a reservation does not mean anything as to branch location.Jeffrey D.

It is hard to beat U-Haul for ease of service and very well maintained equipment. I use to drive an 18 wheeler and Transit Buses, with strict inspections required. That's what I have done on these past rentals. They have all passed.Lon F.

Owners of location offered no service or assistance when I was trying to hook up a 6x12 box trailer to my truck. I had to back inside and ask for assistance. When someone did finally come out all they did was help me get my truck aligned with trailer. I had to lift the trailer, hook it to my truck, install the safety chains and connect lights. I did not get any instructions on towing or any assistance on if the lights on the trailer were operating correctly. Lucky I am very familiar with towing so these were not an issue for me to accomplish, although a less experienced user would it would have been a nightmare. I returned the trailer the exact way I received it and only had it out for about 4.5 hours. I was disappointed in the service and the condition of then trailer but needed it ASAP so I had no option to shop around. Next time I need to rent a truck or trailer I will have to look into other options.Eric H.

U-haul sent us change in location of pick up, Circleville Ohio, 18 miles from Chillicothe, Ohio. When arrived no truck and did not open until 10am, we had a 8am pick up time. So U-haul found a truck available in Chillicothe, so we had to drive 40 miles out of our way and placed us 2 hours behind time. Very disappointed in U-haulRobert A.
