Car smelled like smoke and wasn't cleaned prior to pick up. I ordered a dolly and it wasn't there when I picked up the rental. Not a good experience but hey that's what you get when you use Uhaul so I shouldn't be surprisedVINCENT L.

We were just handed the keys, no walk around or safety check. Once I made it across the country, over 2000 miles, I noticed the front tires were so bad, metal was sticking out. I am surprised the tires did not blow killing us all. Still trying to get a call back from the Idaho district manager regarding this truck. It should be pulled off immediately.LARRY V.

VERY off-putting for you to require a copy of my DL. I can totally understand verifying my ID and status at check in on-site, but it makes me resentful that you require a copy of my ID that ends up floating around on your site and the internet. ID theft is real and this seems to contribute to the ease of theft.WESLEY B.

I did not like my experience with using U-Haul. The first location I was sent to for my mobile pick up the truck was not set up properly for mobile pick up. After being on chat with someone for 30 minutes plus. We finally figured it out and I then was sent to a new location to pick up a different truck. This new truck did not have moving pads, the hand truck I ordered or the rolling dollie. Plus the mobile check in process was not user friendly and took forever to get approved to use the truck. This caused me to start my moving process 2 hours later than expected.Nicole S.

We picked up a truck because our first online reservation was cancelled magically, so the day of our move we had no truck reservation. We managed to find one right away on labor day and they happened to be there to accommodate another rental. The truck had not been filled with gas they said no problem just tell them when you drop off. we took a picture and kept the receipt from refilling the truck. On the other end the company was irritated about the situation and said we would not be charged if they had changed the paperwork where we picked it up. Luckily they had done this but the manager of the company where we dropped us gave us a lecture about why they shouldn't do that.Jeremy A.

Had trouble with being able to refuel. The gas tank would burp back gas like it was full....but wasn't . It did this at every gas station. So the problem was definitely with the truck's gas tank. VERY ANNOYING!!! But truck ran well, A/C was good, gas mileage was great for mountain driving!! Just the gas thing!DEANNNA K.

The only issue I had wasn't with the pick up location but U-Haul itself. The pickup location changed and U-Haul never called to tell me. So we went trimming all over town to get our equipmentPaul R.

Was very difficult to find a location to drop off our auto hauler. This one we found online was likewise difficult to find. NO office or staff that we could tell. It was not your typical U-Haul facility one would expect. NO signs were seen except a small one on the back of the property, stuck into the ground, after circling the other business for a bit. One gentle was out working on a truck and saw us and directed us where to park it. There was ONE small U-haul trailer there, and that was it. Was very anxious about leaving it. My son took pictures of our auto hauler that was backed in and next to the lone U-Haul trailer there on the property site, the small insufficient sign on the ground, our truck, and the gentleman who took possession of it to prove we did turn it in. We told him I didn't check the drop off location at the time of picking it up because I wasn't sure where they were in connection to where my son lived there. My son asked for paperwork stating that location as the drop off and he stated none was available but he would send me a text stating that it was dropped off, which I did received a short time later. Online listed 3 drop off places, but the first one we went to told us they couldn't it. Quite the ordeal to find a place to drop it off.Renee E.

The location and owner was wonderful. The online ordering experience, use of the app/website that required GPS, camera, and scanning capability was absolutely terrible. It was not intuitive, and older/incompatible phones have no recourse.Nate H.

The passenger side ratcheting mechanism came undone, completely loose twice during my trip. The safety chains were installed onto the vehicle so it didnt fall of either time on the freeway but close enough to really get your heart racing. Luckily im an experienced driver when towing or it could have been bad. I informed the drop off location of the maintenance needed.Joel B.

The base price of 19.95 is very misleading. I only used the pickup to go to the dump. Just a few miles and maybe a couple of hours. My final bill was 52 bucks. Shame on you. Misleading advertisingRonald D.
