They committed FRAUD by charging me for a utility dolly that they never gave me then accused me of not returning it. The owner then said he would refund me the $127 because they were not missing a dolly in their inventory but then he sent me a receipt via email that still showed I was charged $127 for the dolly. I'm pressing fraud charges and will never use this Uhaul location ever again. They should not be a Uhaul location because they're crooked and treat customers very badly. Moving is a stressful enough time and customers don't need extra stress like fraudulent charges.

KEVIN MIt’s a crime that you charge $1.39/mile (sat) + Truck Fee + Full tank of gas. I use UHaul for a side business but may not be able to afford the rentals in the future.

Julio MThe uhaul staff connected the equipment incorrectly. This resulted in the trailer coming off the hitch and damaging the towing vehicle. I didn't check their work, I should have. This could have been deadly, fortunately the trailer detatched at a low speed and no one was hurt. Improve the training, require the use of a checklist, or plaquard the hitch to
KENNETH DThe online check-out process is excellent. There was one hiccup where my phone’s browser wouldn’t activate the camera when taking pictures of the vehicle during check-out, but it worked when I tried it a second time. Overall excellent though.
Robert GEverything went great! The only problem I ran into was that I wasn’t given a key for the lock on the back of the truck. Other than that, the whole process was easy and the truck drove great in the snow!

Jill LThe pickup location did not call to confirm the timing as indicated when I reserved the trailer. I reserved the trailer 4 weeks in advance and couldn’t possibly know the exact time I would need the trailer. I listed noon as the pickup time, but couldn’t get to the location until 3. When I arrived I was told because I didn’t show up at noon the trailer had been leased out to another person. The pickup location never called to confirm the pick-up time, AND never called before leasing the trailer out to another person to confirm I didn’t need it. After some back and forth I did have a different trailer leased to me, but was told that it’s going to be at a huge inconvenience to the vendor. The wire for the trailer lights was also frayed and one wire was cut which caused the trailer lights not to work. The vendor did not have a replacement wire. He then went on to tell me to drive the trailer off the lot and call U-Haul to tell them that the lights do not work. Seriously, he wanted me to drive a trailer off his lot w/o functioning lights. It was until I started calling other U-Haul locations when he told me he had tape and could fix the wire. He was able to do so and the lights did end up working the entire time I had the trailer. I would never recommend this U-Haul pick up place to anyone. No communication, ill-equipped, unethical, and indifference to customer safety.

Nicholas AIn addition to a missing ramp, poor service, and a dirty cab, the fuel was below the level stated by the clerk and the app. The cost of gas on top of the mileage fee was pretty steep. Renting a Uhaul is not necessarily the economical alternative.

Murphy BThe older clerk at pick up was rude and very condescending. It was my first time ever renting a uhaul and when I mentioned it he didn't bother explaining anything. He just over stated the need to fold the blankets neatly when returning the truck. Never once explained the process nor asked if I had questions. Thankfully the younger gentleman when I returned the truck (and blankets that we didnt even end up using), was friendly and explained the process a bit more to me. Pickup and my review would be different if the second gentleman had been the one to help me. The only reason I didn't rate lower was due to him. Thank you to him for having basic human courtesy and ability to talk to everyone equally.
Olivia PI rented the 26' truck several years back from another career. I've only rented an open trailer before and so much has changed since then I'm not really sure how to rate. Warning of how bumpy it was before loading would have been good. I almost turned around and came back - I thought there was bad gas in it. The steering fluid seemed low, it was making that noise that lack of steering fluid makes. I brought it back early and with more gas than it had, but no discount! If I didn't make plans to be picked up the day I dropped it off, I would have brought it then next day, that would have burned up the excess gas. Not cool on Uhaul's part. Ya'll think make it so easy to gauge how much gas to put in, but the scale thing didn't really work. From what I could figure out its about 15 gallons per tick tick being 1/4; 1/2; 3/4; Full;, but that is not correct. The fuller it gets the less it needs to achieve the next tick. Times are tough and ya'll charge a lot if people bring it back below the line of when they pick it up. May want to reconsider your polices on this and think about the folks that rent from you. Also, even though I had extra coverage, sounds like some people have a hard time figurine out how to drive large or even small trucks. Maybe find out peoples history and experience - reward those that didn't need the extra insurance. Sure jack up the prices for us, but give folks an incentive to learn how to drive it so there is no damage. I'm putting poor because you won't let me move forward with my review. This is rediculouse. that's why you all don't know what your customers really think. also putting no to recommend this location, you have Not applicable as an option but don't let you customers actual pick this. I HOPE YOU DON'T HOLD THIS BRANCH ACCOUNTABLE FOR UPPER MANAGMENT'S POOR DECISIONS.

ron sGas tank was empty when we picked up the truck, spent $60 to fill the tank and didn’t even use a quarter of that gas. Spent as much on gas as it was to rent the truck, was disappointing. Truck also smelled of cigarettes.
