It would have been helpful had there been an actual person at the location when I had issues with the online check-in. I am not at all tech savvy and had to make several phone calls to complete the check-in. Not to mention that the prices quoted at the time (in person) of the reservation was different from the price I was charged. I was quoted a price of $10.00 for the dolly and was charged $15.00. This is not necessarily an issue with the pick-up location - but when it came time to choose a drop off location - the place closest to me (where I had chosen at the time I made the reservation) was not an option (I was not given that location as a choice). It required another telephone call to have customer service complete the drop - off location. However when I arrived at the location to drop off- off the truck - that location was out of business. Which required yet another telephone call to find another location. Each time I actually spoke to a human being, my issue was handled. However the added stress was too much. I’m not even going to mention the added mileage having to go from location to location. Not that the extra cost was a ton of money, but it was more expensive at no fault of mine. I will NEVER use U-Haul again!

EDGAR BThe location of pickup was fine, however, the equipment aka truck was in very poor condition. The driver, Charlie, has a mechanical background, and reported when we dropped said truck off, racking pinion steering was completely worn out. The truck was difficult to steer and several accidents were nearly avoided. Also, the truck engine cutoff while driving down yhe road. For the amount of money we paid to rent the truck it should have been in much much better condition. I really think a partial refund of our money is in order.
