Scheduled to pick up a uhaul several weeks early in Boone, NC. However, was notified the evening before the pick up date there was not a truck available. 30 minutes prior to the phone call notifying me a truck is not available someone called from uhaul and asked me if I would tow a trailer behind the truck I was scheduled to pick up in Boone, NC. The only way to move my daughter I had to have someone drive me over an hour away to pick up a truck in Marion, NC. When I picked up the truck in Marion, NC I was told I could drop the truck off at the location of my choosing. When I contacted the location close to my home to see if I could drop the truck off a day early they told me I could not drop the truck off at their location and have to drop it off 45 minutes further from their location to a location uhaul assigned me at random and did not even notify of where I had to drop off the truck. Side note. Even after I said no to towng a trailer I continued to receive multiple requests to pick up a trailer in Charlotte,NC and tow it to North Charleston. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a truck rental company. The only saving grace was the person who helped me when dropping off the truck at the Community Resource Center was fanominal! She was polite, courteous, respectful, and empathetic to my frustrations with uhaul. She deserves a bonus!

Edie LSafOK. Chains too long, with evidence of road wear-noted at time of rental and told to drop off agent. Drop off location info was wrong, led me into boonies where there was nothing but an athletic gym. Had to call originating rental site to get another location. Wasted a lot of gas and time. Otherwise, rental and return went ok.
